본고에서는 트랜지스터의 게이트 크기, 연결관계를 표현하는 입력 회로 정보와 트랜지스터가 배치될 규격을 표시하는 78개의 rule을 이용해 효과적인 배치를 행하는 rule based 배치 프로그램에 대해 기술했다. 본 연구의 결과는 이후 진행될 배선 연구에 이용되어 트랜지스터 회로의 레이아웃 시스팀을 구축하기 위해 응용될 것이다. 프로그램은 VAX-II/750 UNIX 4.2 BSD하의 Franzlisp으로 개발되었다.

SecuROS(Secure & Reliable Operating System) prevents and blocks possible system cracking by implementing additional security functions in FreeBSD 4.3 operating system (OS) kernel, including access control, user authentication, audit trail, encryption file system and trusted channel. This paper describes access control technique, which is one of core technologies of SecuROS, introduces the implementations of DAC, MAC and RBAC, all of which are corresponding access control policies, and show security and results of performance measurement on the basis of application of access control policies. Finally, security and performance between conventional OS environment and environment adopting access control policy is described.

Many people use Linux and FreeBSD because it is freeware and excellent performance. The open source code is very important feature but it also has some problem which may be attacked by hackers frequently. This paper describes the SecuROS of secure operating system that is best solution to this problem and introduces user and programmer interface for active use of secure operating system. Developed secure operating system is composed of the access control method MAC and ACL and conforms to the POSIX which is universally used.

The antimicrobial and antioxidative effect of mechanical bamboo smoke distillate (MBSD) and traditional bamboo smoke distillate (TBSD) were investigated. Antimicrobial activity was demonstrated against all the microorganisms used in this experiment and was the higher in TBSD than in MBSD, with an activity concentration in the range 10-50 ${\mu}m/8$ mm paper disc. At the same concentration the antimicrobial activities of TBSD and MBSD was Gram positive bacteria>gram negative bacteria>Lactotobacillus>yeast. The minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) of BSC was 1.0-7.3${\mu}L/mL$, and the maximum lethal concentration (MLC) was 26.7-116.7 ${\mu}L/mL$. The soybean oil oxidative stability increased with increasing BSD concentration. The induction periods of oil oxidation were 3.75, 4.57 and 12.06 days for the samples with BSD added at 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.0%, respectively. The RAE in soybean oil with 0.5% BSD was evaluated to be 168.45%, being similar to that of the sample with 0.02% BHT.

본 논문은 Mach 마이크로 커널 운영체제에서 네트웍 프로토콜과 운영체제의 오버헤드를 줄이는 사용자 수준의 프로토콜의 구현을 제시한다. 기존 사용자 수준의 프로토콜의 구현들은 그 성능에 있어서 커널 내 프로토콜의 그것에 비해 낮은 성능을 보여왔다. 이에 비해 본 논문에서는 더욱 더 높은 성능향상을 보이는 사용자 수준의 프로토콜 구조의 설계와 구현을 제시한다. 또한 Mach 의 공유 메커니즘을 쓴 사용자 프로토콜과 BSD UNIX 서버와의 공유 메모리를 사용하여 디스크에 저장된 파일을 네트웍 패킷으로 보낼 경우의 전송 능력을 향상시켰다. 이는 HTTP와 FTP 같이 최근 그 사용이 증대되고 있는 응용의 성능을 향상시킨다.

전자우편서비스가 확대됨에 따라 정보 보호 문제가 중요한 현안으로 대두될 것이다. 이러한 필요성에 따라, MHS(Message Handling System) 시스템의 정보보호(Information Security) 서비스에 관련된 표준화(X.400 series)와 보안 서비스에 관련된 키 관리 메카니즘 표준화(X.509)출 분석하려다. 본 연구에서는 여러가지 보안서비스 중, 안전한 메시지 전송을 위해 1차적으로 메시지 비밀보장, 메시지 무결성, 발신처 인증 서비스를 위 한 SMP(Secure Message Protocol ) 프로토콜을 설계하여 UNIX BSD 4.3 시스템환경에서 구현하였다.

This paper proposes a machine in dependent automatic microcode generation system using a microtnstruction description language, MDL. The MDL, which has similar structure to C language, is a high-level microarchitecture description language. It defines the hardwaer elements and the operand selection of microoperartions. The proposed system generates microcode automatically by describing the structure information of a target microarchitectuer and accepting thebehavioral information of microoperations which are generated ad a intermediate language from HLML-C. This proposed system is implemented with C language and YACC on a SUN workstation (4.3 BSD).

인터넷 자원 예약 프로토콜을 구현하고 있는 현재 RSVP(ISI re14.2a4)코드는 QoS를 지원하는 트래픽 제어부(큐 구조)와의 연결을 위해 LLDAL(Link-Layer-Dependent Adaptation Layer) 구조를 가지고 있다 트래픽 제어부와 통신을 하기 위해서 여러 호출들이 구현되어 있지만 실제 이러한 호출들을 사용해서 트래픽 제어를 하지는 않는다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 수락 제어부와 트래픽 제어부를 구현하여 FreeBSD 상에서 일반화된 RSVP 라우터를 구현하였다.

내장형 시스템 및 RTOS에 대한 관심이 늘어나면서 낮은 성능의 하드웨어상에서의 네트워킹 기능이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 그러나 기존의 BSD기반의 TCP／IP는 많은 메모리를 필요로 하고 실제로 RTOS에서 자주 사용되지 않는 기능들도 많이 있기 때문에 기존의 TCP／IP 프로토콜 스택의 수정이 불가피하다. 본 논문에서는 낮은 성능의 하드웨어에 적합하게 TCP/IP프로토콜 스택을 경량화하고 메모리 사용에 대한 오버헤드를 줄일 수 있는 프로토콜 스택을 구현하고자 한다.

Trusted channel provides a means of secure communication and it includes security services such as confidentiality, authentication, and so on. This paper describes the implementation of trusted channel between secure operating systems that integrates access control mechanisms with FreeBSD kernel code[1]. The trusted channel we developed offers confidentiality an4 message authentication for network traffic based on the destination address. It is implemented in the kernel level of IP layer and transparent to users.
