  • This paper concerns about the active noise canceller via filtered-X LMS algorithm. There are various kinds of algorithms to implement a active noise canceller. Traditional LMS algorithms are not enough to implement a sharp noise cancellation characteristics. We simulates a filtered-X LMS algorithm and implements an algorithm to the TMS320C5x DSP processor and shows that result.

  • We have numerically analyzed by using the Beam Propagation Method the Dual-channel directional couplers, which peforms a number of useful fuctions in thin-films devices, including power division, modulation, switching, frequency selection, and polarization selection. We also use the effective index method to reduce one dimension.

  • In this paper, we present a new interpolation scheme for image enhancement using fuzzy inference. In general, interpolation techniques are based on linear operators which are essentially lowpass filters, hence, they tend to blur fine details in the original image. In our approach, the operator itself balances the strength of its sharpening and noise suppressing components according to the properties of the input image data.

  • This paper presents a control system design for the UPFC of FACTS devices by optimal control scheme to enhance small-signal stability in the Power system. The feature of this UPFC controller is coordinated with generator exciter controller(AVR, PSS) to improve the total Power system stability and performance.
