구강은 다양한 기능을 가지고 있다. 즉, 소화, 호흡 및 발음의 기능을 주로 하며, 심미적으로 매우 중요하다. 그러므로 토진 및 구개열과 같은 기형은 위에 열거한 작용을 훼손시켜, 환자 본인은 물론, 주위 사람들에게 커다란 불행이라 할 수 있다. 그리하여 토진 및 구개파열을 수정하려는 노력은 고대로부터 출발된다. Boo-Chai는 A.D390년경에 중국에서 토진수술이 있었다고 1966년에 보고한 바 있다. 이후에는 수많은 사람들이 토진 및 구개파열에 대한 수술방법을 제시하여 왔으며 현재에도 여러 가지 다양한 수술방법이 이용되고 있다. 그러므로 토진 및 구개파열을 전반적으로 다루는 것은 매우 방대한 것이기 때문에, 먼저 발생빈도, 원인 및 분류에 대하여 간단히 이야기하고 수술시기와 장 많이 쓰이고 있는 수술방법을 다루기로 한다.

인터넷 사용인구가 늘어나면서 다양한 종류의 정보를 제공하는 곳이 늘고 있다. 족보 사이트나 가계도 검색 사이트 같은 서비스도 개발되었다. 그 중에서 가문별 가계도 검색 서비스는 특정 가계나 특정 데이터베이스에 종속되는 경향이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 어떠한 환경에서도 원하는 가계도를 검색할 수 있도록 표준 SQL 질의문과 JAVA를 사용하여 RDBMS상의 가계 관계의 가계도를 표현하는 방법을 제안한다.

The audible noise produced by corona discharge in high voltage transmission lines is the most important line design consideration. In this paper, more accurate and useful formulas for predicting the A-weighted audible noise during heavy and light rain in alternative current (AC) transmission lines are proposed through comparison with the existing formulas. The proposed formulas are developed by the applications of evolutionary computations (ECs) to audible noise data base from long-term measurement.

In this paper, to present a new ignition control system for improvement the fuel economy. An actual hardware was made to prove that new control system, which only some of cylinder using under the idle status or low speed preserving the engine rpm, is applicable to effec fuel economy.

This paper deals with the robustness of closed-loop poles of a linear time-invariant system with uncertain parameters. A new method is presented to calculate the perturbation of a pole-located region due to parameter uncertainties. A method to calculate allowable bounds on parameter uncertainties is also presented to retain closed-loop poles in a specified region. Based on Lyapunov equations and norm operations, they provide useful measures on the robustness of closed-loop poles. An example is given to illustrate proposed methods.

Using the Brayton and Tong's computer-generated Lyapunov functions, we stabilize the multilocomotive train system so that the system is globally asymptotically stable. We decompose an interconnected system into the second order subsystems. Lyapunov functions of the free subystems are constructed using the Brayton and Tong's algorithm. An aggregated test matrix is determined in terms of the qualitative properties of the free subsystems and the interconnecting structures. Stated feedback is used for stabilizing the entire system.
