As the number of blog users has been increasing significantly, a lot of studies have been carried out to find out what makes people use a blog or feel satisfied with it. However, most of the previous studies assumed that dissatisfaction is the opposite of satisfaction and a person who is dissatisfied with a blog does not use it, failing to explain about blog users who do not feel satisfied with their blogs but use them continually. In addition, the studies found out just blog users' motives and satisfying factors in using blogs, and did not suggest any way to improve and promote blog services. Against this backdrop, this study conducted a survey of blog users in order to examine how the satisfying factors of a blog selected through a prior study affect both satisfaction and dissatisfaction of a user. The survey results showed that the satisfying factors are divided into two groups: group A which affect satisfaction and dissatisfaction equally, and group B which affect them differently. Based on the results, this study subdivides group A into high involvement factors and low involvement ones, and group B into motivators, which strongly affect satisfaction, and hygiene factors, which strongly affect dissatisfaction. According to characteristics of each group, this study suggests ways to improve and promote blog services.

Opinion retrieval is to retrieve items which are relevant to the user information need topically and include opinion about the topic. This paper aims to find a method to represent user information need for effective opinion retrieval and to analyze the combination methods for opinion features through various experiments. The experiments are carried out in the inference network framework using the Blogs06 collection and 100 TREC test topics. The results show that our suggested representation method based on hidden 'opinion' concept is effective, and the compact model with very small opinion lexicon shows the comparable performance to the previous model on the same test data set.

Moreover, the responses affect broadcast media ratings back. Social TV tried to use the relationship in marketing activities such as advertisement by analyzing the TV related social behavior. However, most of them used just the quantities of social media responses. This study analyzes the subjects of the responses on social media about specific TV dramas through topic modeling, and the relationship between the changes of popular topics and viewer ratings of the drama over specified periods. Five representative Korean dramas of 2014 were selected and Blog contents including viewer ratings about the dramas were collected from naver.com which is the representative portal in South Korea. The proposed analysis framework consists of three steps which are Blogs crawling, topic modeling, and topic trend analysis. We found some implications from the results of the topic trend analysis. Firstly, there were specific topics on dramas in social media. Secondly, the topics had some meaningful relationships with viewer ratings. Lastly, there were differences between the topics of dramas with higher viewer ratings and those with lower viewer ratings.

Human life has been inextricably linked with healing. Recently, as the demands of healing are higher, it is more necessary to study spaces, places and mobilities related to healing in geographical studies. This paper draws on a case study of urban peoples walks along Seoul City Wall to explore what healing factors affect the people walking along historical landscapes in urban center and understand geographical implications of the healing process. Based on the concept and analytical lens of 'therapeutic mobilities' introduced by Gatrell, this research analyzes texts written on 181 blogs. The results show the main factors that affect their healing are 'weather climate', 'walk stroll', and 'nightscape'. Futhermore, the blogs' narratives focusing on these main factors imply healing place-making, time as limiting factor, and the social body within nightscape in the healing process.
