As a central part in smart construction, BIM has been rapidly spread in construction industry at large. However, the level of applying BIM in construction stage is still relatively lower than that in design stage due to unclear application method, inadequate design BIM model, technical faults of BIM itself, etc. Under these circumstances, public owners inevitably need to adjust the scope and pace in BIM application considering their internal support and capabilities of contractors. This study aims to suggest major BIM-applicable tasks during construction stage in the process of establishing gradual long-term and short-term introduction strategy for public apartment housing projects. Those major tasks were identified with the combination of the importance of tasks and the future benefits of BIM using IPA method. To do so, the degrees of contribution to achieving objectives in construction, current task execution, and communication requirement were investigated by internal site managers. On the other hand, the expected benefits and current level of using BIM were assessed by BIM experts. Among operational tasks by phases, design review, construction plan review, making as-built drawing, etc. were categorized as major tasks. In addition, progress control, regular meeting, master schedule development, work inspection, on-site quality check, etc. were also drawn as major tasks by management areas. The results of this study will provide the useful reference for owners concerned about the introduction of new technologies.
Due to the importance of energy-saving and CO2 reduction is being emphasized in the world, efforts to find a solution for the problems is increasing rapidly. In particular, the renewable energy is on understanding as a breakthrough for the protection of the environment and the economic development, so it is intensively fostered as future industries. Developed countries are already pursuing policy and technology development related with renewable energy. In this paper, we will develop MHD(Magneto Hydro Dynamics) technology to supply the commercial power that can is targeted at water pipe related with hydro power among renewable energy technologies. Kinetic energy of fluid flowing in the water pipe is converted into electric power. It allows stable power supply to the various sensors and devices on water pipe. We have performed several experiments to verify the application possibility of the developed technologies and present the result and a method of performance improvement of the technologies.
이러한 추세로 건설 및 토목분야에서의 BIM(Building Information Modeling) 기술이 빠르게 적용되고 있다.
Increasing size and complexity of indoor structures have led to much more complication in the spatial cognition and situational awareness. Contrary to outdoor environments, occupants have limited information regarding the indoor space syntax in terms of architectural and semantic information as well as how they interact with their surroundings. The availability of such information could give conveniences to both users and managers in various aspects. In order to visualize the exact location of rooms and utilities in 3D, many studies and projects have utilized BIM models because of its promising value of representing building components. In fact, the application of BIM provides definitive spatial indoor data and creates services for indoor space management and navigation. Therefore, this paper aims to provide an overview of practices on BIM-based indoor spatial information implementation and location-based services. It is expected that enabling of technologies, data-rich content and accessibility of information products will accelerate the growth of the spatially-related markets in various fields.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its different work streams, such as 4D planning (4D), are among the major drivers for change in the construction industry. The primary aim of this research is to create a holistic map of both the barriers and drivers affecting the industrial uptake of BIM and 4D through the use of an extensive literature review and a survey of contractors and consultants from the UK AEC (Architectural, Engineering and Construction) industry. This research demonstrates that while non-technical barriers such as the inefficiency in the evaluation of the business value of BIM and 4D; the shortage of experience within the workforce, and the lack of awareness by stakeholders are recognized by professionals as main barriers to BIM and 4D adoption, current research is still largely concerned with technical advancement of BIM and 4D technologies. A holistic map of the driving and restraining forces affecting BIM and 4D widespread adoption was provided. The tackling of the non-technical barriers identified will help bridge the gap between technology, end-users and their processes.
In the 21st century, medical facility projects are required to operate appropriate digital technologies as the development of technology and the interests of various participants become more complex. In order for architects to successfully lead negotiations among various stakeholder groups, it is necessary to plan for effective communication through appropriate design reflecting their opinions and coordination of conflicts. For this purpose, building information modeling (BIM), which is a method of designing based on knowledge information related to medical facilities in the building database, can respond to change of order promptly and minimizes the occurrence of design errors can do. Recently, BIM technology and cloud computing technology in ICT have been combined and research on cloud BIM has been actively carried out. The use of cloud computing technology in BIM-based healthcare facility projects can effectively support decision making among project participants and has the advantage of sharing and collaborating on various forms of information generated during the design process, regardless of location and time. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to build of system that can support the design of medical facility using cloud computing technology in BIM.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is widely used to efficiently share, utilize and manage information generated in every phase of a construction project. Recently, mixed reality (MR) technologies have been introduced to more effectively utilize BIM elements. This study deals with the haptic interactions between humans and BIM elements in MR to improve BIM usability. As the first step in interacting with virtual objects in mixed reality, we challenged moving a virtual object to the desired location using finger-pointing. This paper presents the procedure of developing a haptic interface system where users can interact with a BIM object to move it to the desired location in MR. The interface system consists of an MR-based head-mounted display (HMD) and a mobile application developed using Unity 3D. This study defined two segments to compute the scale factor and rotation angle of the virtual object to be moved. As a result of testing a cuboid, the user can successfully move it to the desired location. The developed MR-based haptic interface can be used for aligning BIM elements overlaid in the real world at the construction site.
