  • 본 논문에서는 미래의 네트워크 모델에 적합하도록 설계한 생태계 모방 임베디드 미들웨어(BIEM : Bio Inspired Embedded Middleware)를 구현하고, 그의 구조와 특성을 기술하며, 성능을 평가하여 BIEM의 정확성을 검증한다. BIEM의 정확성을 검증하기 위해, BIEM 위에서 응용프로그램을 실행시켰을 때와 독립적으로 일반적인 해를 구했을 때의 결과를 비교한다. 또한 서비스 제공을 위해 요구되는 통신오버헤드를 측정하여, 오버헤드가 네트워크 트래픽에 얼마나 영향을 미칠지에 대해서 알아보고, 마지막으로는 이주서비스에 소요되는 시간을 비교 및 분석한다. 이를 통해, BIEM이 미래 네트워크에 이용될 수 있는 하나의 시스템임을 결론지을 수 있다.

  • This paper presents the indirect boundary integral equation method(BIEM) to analyze 3D moving conductor problem. Instead of an artificial upwind algothm, the proposed method uses a fundamental Green's function which is a particular solution of diffusion equation. Therefore, this method yields a stable and accurate solution regardless of the Peclet number. The indirect BIEM is compared with 3D upwind FEM for a numerical model which has analytic solutions.

  • By applying the Boundary Integral Equation Method (BIEM) to obliquely incident for Rubble Mound Breakwater (RMB), wave reflection and transmission the coefficients are studied numerically. The validity of and the present BIEM is confirmed by comparing it with 1)numerical results of the eigenfunction expansion method of Dalrymple et al.(1991), and 2)numerical results of the BIEM of Kojima et al.(1988). Therefore, the characteristics of RMB for obliquely incident waves are investigated according to the variations of the wave period, equivalent linear nondimensional friction coefficient and direction of incident waves. It is revealed that the wave transformations of obliquely incident waves are different from those of normally incident waves.

  • This paper presents an analysis of 2-dimensional(2-D) multi-regions problem using boundary integral equation method(BIEM). When compared with finite element method(FEM), there are only a few unknown variables in BIEM because it implements numerical analysis only for the surface or boundary of a model. As a result, a lot of computational memory and time can be saved. Procedure to analyze 2-D multi-regions problem using potentials and its derivatives in a boundary as unknown variables, first, numerical analysis is performed for each of subregions. And then interface continuity condition is applied to the interface between them and Gauss Quadrature Formula are adopted to solve singular integral in a boundary in this paper.

  • In this paper, the indirect BIEM(boundary integral equation method) is adopted to analyze 3-D eddy currents in cover plate of power transformer. In indirect BIEM, the equivalent magnetic surface charge density and the eqivalent magnanetic surface current density are the unknowns. Using triangular constant elements, the integral equations are discretized into boundary element equations of minimum order. Eddy currents are obtained in terms of euqivalent magnetic surface sources. And the locad overheating can be predicted using the eddy currents distribution in cover plate of power transformer.

  • This paper describes BIEM(Boundary Integral Equation Method) for computation of three dimensional electric field distribution and numerical method that an equivalent charge density is unknown variable. After computing numerically the surface charge distribution. the distribution of both potential and electric field are obtained. Finally, this numerical method is applied to the concentric sphere and the coaxial cylindrical model and numerical result is compared to the analytic solution.

  • The application of Green's function in calculation of flow characteristics around submerged and floating bodies due to a regular wave is presented. It is assumed that the fluid is homogeneous, inviscid and incompressible, the flow is irrotational and all body motions are small. Two methods based on the boundary integral equation method (BIEM) are applied to solve associated problems. The first is a low order panel method with triangular flat patches and uniform distribution of velocity potential on each panel. The second method is a high order panel method in which the kernels of the integral equations are modified to make it nonsingular and amenable to solution by the Gaussian quadrature formula. The calculations are performed on a submerged sphere and some floating spheroids of different aspect ratios. The excellent level of agreement with the analytical solutions shows that the second method is more accurate and reliable.

  • 수중 프로펠러의 비공동 소음을 Ffowcs William-Hawkings 형태의 음향 상사 방정식을 시간영역에서 해석하였으며 전산공력음향학(CAA)과 경계 요소법(BIEM)등 수치적 방법을 통해 해석하였다. 덕트 없는 프로펠러와 덕트 프로펠러에 대해서 비균일 유입류 조건에 대해서 소음 강도와 방향성을 예측하였으며 이는 수중 프로펠러의 운용시 지배적인 소음원을 구별하고 그 특성을 파악하여 적절한 소음 제어 책을 마련하는 기반이 될 것이다.

  • In this study, BIEM(Boundary Integral Equation Method) using Green's function is applied in order to analyze 3D electric field precisely. The algorithm is developed with equivalent electric surface charge as a variable, which promises less unknown variables and higher accuracy of electric field analysis. The validity of the developed program is varified by applying it to a coaxial cylinder mode and 3-phase GIS model.
