The Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) system is a key component of CNS/ATM recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as the next generation air traffic control system. ADS-B broadcasts identification, positional data, and operation information of an aircraft to other aircraft, ground vehicles and ground stations in the nearby region. This paper explores the ADS-B based trajectory prediction and the conflict detection algorithm. The multiple-model based trajectory prediction algorithm leads accurate predicted conflict probability at a future forecast time. We propose an efficient and accurate algorithm to calculate conflict probability based on approximation of the conflict zone by a set of blocks. The performance of proposed algorithms is demonstrated by a numerical simulation of two aircraft encounter scenarios.

This paper presents a narrow-band orthomode transducer(OMT) based on waveguide to waveguide transitions which can separate two linearly polarized orthogonal modes. This operates in the range 120Hz-13GHz frequency band. It consists of two parts, main arm and side arm. Stepped transformers are designed and an inductive post is inserted to improve the characteristics of the transmission loss and isolation. This paper also presents results from fabricated OMT These results show that the transmission loss is less than 1dB and the isolation between the ports for the OMT is above 20dB.

4, 5-Diphenyl-2-mercaptiomidazole (I) was reacted with hydraziodyl halides IIa-d togive the S-alkyl derivatives III-a-d. Cyclization of IIIa-d afforded imidazo[2, 1-b]-thiazole derivatives Vla, b and VII. Treatment of 1 with a-chloroethylacetoaccetate (IV) gave ethyl 2(4, 5-diphenyl-2-imidazolinylthio)-3-keto-butyrate (V). Compound V coupled with benzendiazonium chloride to give the corresponding phenylhydrazo compound IIId. On heating V with polyphosphoric acid, cyclization took place and 2-acetyl-5, 6-diphenyl-imidazo [2, 1-b] thiazol-3-one (VIII) was obtained. The compound VIII was condensed with aromatic aldehydes to yield the cinnamoyl derivatives 1Xa, b. The antimicrobial activities of compounds IIIa-d, V, VIa, VII were examined.

Acetylshikonin, a natural naphthoquinone derivative compound, has been used for treatment of inflammation and cancer. In the present study, we have investigated whether acetylshikonin could regulate the NF-${\kappa}B$ signaling pathway, thereby leading to suppression of tumorigenesis. We observed that acetylshikonin significantly reduced proliferation of several cancer cell lines, including human pancreatic PANC-1 cancer cells. In addition, acetylshikonin inhibited phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) or tumor necrosis-${\alpha}$ (TNF-${\alpha}$)-induced NF-${\kappa}B$ reporter activity. Proteome cytokine array and real-time RT-PCR results illustrated that acetylshikonin inhibition of PMA-induced production of cytokines was mediated at the transcriptional level and it was associated with suppression of NF-${\kappa}B$ activity and matrix metalloprotenases. Finally, we observed that an exposure of acetylshikonin significantly inhibited the anchorage-independent growth of PANC-1 cells. Together, our results indicate that acetylshikonin could serve as a promising therapeutic agent for future treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Purpose This study was designed co determine the possibility of HLA typing in the objeccification of constitution. Methods We selected 100 patients who showed Taeyang characteristics, and divided them into Soum-inclined group and Soyang-inclined group. HLA-A, B, DRBI typing was perfomed by ARMS-PCR and PCR-SSOP method. Results Taeyang characteristic group as a whole showed significant difference in A1, A11, B37, B70/71, DRBI*15,DRB1*14 alleles in comparison with normal control group. Soum-inclined group showed significant difference in All, B70/71, Soyang-inclined group in DRBl*15, hard drinker group in DRBl*15, DRBl*13, drink-rejecting group in All, B37, DRBl*7, DRB1*14 in comparison with normal control group. Conclusion : There were significant relations between constitutional information and HLA types.

본 논문에서는 Bluetooth applications를 위한 Bipolar Transistor low noise amplifier (LNA)를 설계하였다. 설계된 LNA는 2.4GHz에서 14.31[dB]의 Gain과 1.59[dB]의 NF를 보였다. 또한 S11은 -13.5[dB], S22는 -21.4[dB]의 양호한 값은 보였다.

The BV-photographic photometry was made for 1714 stars (V<19.5) in NGC 6752. The C-M diagram of this cluster shows an unusually extended blue horizontal branch $(V=13.5{\sim}17.8)$ with a wide gap $(V=16{\sim}16.7)$ and the well defined giant branch with gaps at V=13.85 and 16.2. The turnoff point is defined at $V=17.25{\pm}0.15$ and (B-V) = $0.46{\pm}0.02$. If we take $V_{HB}=13.85$ for NGC 6752, then ${\Delta}V=2.80,\;(B-V)_{0,g}=0.76\;and\;{\Delta}V_{TO}=3.40$ and the chemical abundance is estimated to be [Fe/H]=-1.67 or $Z=4.3{\times}10^{-4}\;and\;Y=0.26$. Some other physical parameters of this cluster are derived and compared with those for the well observed clusters M 3, M 13, M 15 and M 92.

The cytotoxic activity of 13(E)-Labd-13-ene-8$\alpha$, 15-diol(1), isolated from the ethanol extract of Brachyglottis monroi was evaluated against tumor cell lines such as P388, SNU-C4 MDA-MB231, B 16 melanoma and A549 in vitro. By mean of spectral analysis particularly by the aid of various two dimensional NMR experiments, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR signals of (1) was completely assigned, and thus the structure of (1) was established unambiguously. The protonation constants of the 14-membered tetraaza macrocycles A(3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo$[l6.4.0^{1,18}.0^{7,12}]$docosane) and B(2,3,6,13,14,17-hexamethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatric yclo-[l6.4.$0^{1,18}.0^{7,12}$]docosane) were measured by potentiometry. The formation constants of each of these ligands with copper(II) and nickel(II) were determined by an out-of-cell spectrophotometric method. The results indicate that the per-N-methylated macrocycle B exhibits much higher selectivity for complex formation with copper(II) over nickel(II) ion than A and other related 14-membered tetraaza macrocycles. The effects of the N-and C-substituents on the basicity and the metal ion selectivity of the ligands are discussed. The synthesis and properties of copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of B are also described.

본회 전자상거래팀에서는 그동안 정부의 지원아래 시범적으로 구축해온 전자상거래 시범 시스템을 한국전자거래협회 및 전자신문사의 후원으로 "(전자업종)B2B 전자상거래 정책 및 시스템 운영 발표회"를 지난 4월 25일 무역센터 49층 대회의실에서 150여명이 참석한 가운데 개최하였다. 이에 본고에서는 '2001 B2B 전자상거래 추진정책과 전자업종 B2B 전자상거래 시범시스템 구축에 대하여 다루어 봄으로 정부지원으로 개발된 전자업종 B2B 전자상거래 시범 시스템을 전자업계에 공개함으로써 현실화 되고 있는 e비즈니스의 현주소를 점검하고 전자업계의 e비즈니스 환경 구축을 지원할 계획이다.
