Using a base-point free version of the infinite symmetric product we define a fibrewise infinite symmetric product for any fibration $E\;\longrightarrow\;B$. The construction works for any commutative ring R with unit and is denoted by $R_f(E)\;l\ongrightarrow\;B$. For any pointed space B let $G_I(B)\;\longrightarrow\;B$ be the i-th Ganea fibration. Defining $M_R-cat(B):= inf{i\midR_f(G_i(B))\longrihghtarrow\;B$ admits a section} we obtain an approximation to the Lusternik-Schnirelmann category of B which satisfies .g.a product formula. In particular, if B is a 1-connected rational space of finite rational type, then $M_Q$-cat(B) coincides with the well-known (purely algebraically defined) M-category of B which in fact is equal to cat (B) by a result of K.Hess. All the constructions more generally apply to the Ganea category of maps.

As a radar based air surveillance hits the limit along with the growing air traffic needs, a new air surveillance technology called ADS-B has emerged. ADS-B provides more accurate position information with a shorter interval, and aircraft equipped with ADS-B transponders can check each other's location. However not all aircraft are equipped with ADS-B transponders, and aircraft with different ADS-B data links cannot check each other's location. To address these problems a TIS-B service, which broadcasts information that a radar is tracking, and an ADS-R service, which cross-broadcasts information of different ADS-B data links, have been emerged. In this paper, we design and implement a centralized TIS-B server for broadcasting air traffic situation which is capable of providing a TIS-B service and an ADS-R service at the same time. The implemented TIS-B server has been verified with a configured ADS-B ground system, by receiving ADS-B surveillance data and radar surveillance data followed by generating surveillance data for providing a TIS-B service and an ADS-R service and simulating broadcast of those generated surveillance data.

In this note we study positive solutions of the mth order rational difference equation $x_n=(a_0+\sum{{m\atop{i=1}}a_ix_{n-i}/(b_0+\sum{{m\atop{i=1}}b_ix_{n-i}$, where n = m,m+1,m+2, $\ldots$ and $x_0,\ldots,x_{m-1}$ > 0. We describe a sufficient condition on nonnegative real numbers $a_0,a_1,\ldots,a_m,b_0,b_1,\ldots,b_m$ under which every solution $x_n$ of the above equation tends to the limit $(A-b_0+\sqrt{(A-b_0)^2+4_{a_0}B}$/2B as $n{\rightarrow}{\infty}$, where $A=\sum{{m\atop{i=1}}\;a_i$ and $B=\sum{{m\atop{i=1}}\;b_i$.

Among EC areas. the B2B EC market is being spotlighted as an important interesting research area considering its size and the potential impact on companeies and the whole society. In comparison with private consumers in B2C EC. business buyers in B2B EC have to precisely keep track of the purchase records. and integrate them with the buyer's e-procurement system, which might have been implemented as a part of integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. There are three approaches for such integration between ERP and e-marketplace in B2B EC; Two previous approaches are Inside-Out approach and Outside-In approach. And a newly, one is b-cart approach. In this paper, we try to survey these three approaches and make a comparison analysis. From this research. we identify that the b-cart approach is the most efficient framework in integrating ERP with e-marketplace in B2B EC.

General American English(=A.E.) has conservative elements as well as progressive elements. A.E. and B.E. are languages which have more similarities than differances. In this paper. This study deals with the relationship between the magnitude of ultrasonic nonlinear parameter B/A, sound speed of amount of fat present in biological media for measuring B/A system using a wide band ultrasonic transducer. To represent this case, mixtures of egg white and egg yolk were studied. Even though the differences in density and sound speed of the two egg components were within 1% of each other, B/A were increases parabolically as a function of the fat density, which is not in agreement with the Yoshizumi et al's suggestion. In skim milk that does not contain fat, both the B/A and the sound speed increase with the solubility. It is proposed that protein could affect these values.

Genetic variation and molecular phylogeny of 22 taxa representing 14 extant species and 3 unidentified taxa of Boesenbergia in Thailand and four outgroup species (Cornukaempferia aurantiflora, Hedychium biflorum, Kaempferia parviflora, and Scaphochlamys rubescens) were examined by sequencing of 3 chloroplast (cp) DNA regions (matK, psbA-trnH and petA-psbJ). Low interspecific genetic divergence (0.25-1.74%) were observed in these investigated taxa. The 50% majority-rule consensus tree constructed from combined chloroplast DNA sequences allocated Boesenbergia in this study into 3 different groups. Using psbA-1F/psbA-3R primers, an insertion of 491 bp was observed in B. petiolata. Restriction analysis of the amplicon (380-410 bp) from the remaining species with Rsa I further differentiated Boesenbergia to 2 groupings; I (B. basispicata, B. longiflora, B. longipes, B. plicata, B. pulcherrima, B. tenuispicata, B. thorelii, B. xiphostachya, Boesenbergia sp.1 and Boesenbergia sp.3; phylogenetic clade A) that possesses a Rsa I restriction site and II (B. curtisii, B. regalis, B. rotunda and Boesenbergia sp.2; phylogenetic clade B and B. siamensis; phylogenetic clade C) that lacks a restriction site of Rsa I. Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and indels found can be unambiguously applied to authenticate specie-origin of all investigated samples and revealed that Boesenbergia sp.1, Boesenbergia sp.2 and B. pulcherrima (Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi), B. cf. pulcherrima1 (Prachuap Khiri Khan) and B. cf. pulcherrima2 (Thong Pha Phum, Kanchanaburi) are B. plicata, B. rotunda and B. pulcherrima, respectively. In addition, molecular data also suggested that Boesenbergia sp.3 should be further differentiated from B. longiflora and regarded as a newly unidentified Boesenbergia species.

Let A ⊆ B be an extension of integral domains with characteristic zero. Let H(A, B) and h(A, B) be rings of composite Hurwitz series and composite Hurwitz polynomials, respectively. We simply call H(A, B) and h(A, B) composite Hurwitz rings of A and B. In this paper, we study when H(A, B) and h(A, B) are unique factorization domains (resp., GCD-domains, finite factorization domains, bounded factorization domains).

In this paper, we develop notions of weak positive dependence, which are weaker than a positive version of negative association (weak association) but stronger than positive orthant dependence by arguments similar to those of Shaked. We also illustrate some concepts of a particular interest. Various properties and interrelationships are derived.

The effect of phosphate on the production of avermectin B1a was studied. Response surface methodology was applied to optimize the concentration of organic nitrogen sources. The portion of B1b in total avermectins was decreased from 5.8% to 3.0% by the addition of 1.5 g/ι inorganic phosphate to the production medium. Among organic nitrogen sources, soybean meal was the most effective on avermectin biosynthesis. Results showed that B1a productivity was increased by 44.8% in a laboratory scale fermenter cultivation of Streptomyces avermitilis YA99-40 through fed-batch process. A maximal B1a productivity was obtained by repeated 30 and 20 g/ι of glucose feeding at 136 and 206 hour, respectively. The B1a productivity was increased by 86.3% and the proportion of B1a in the total avermectins was improved from 38% to 45% with respect to the control process. These results would be very useful for enhancing productivity of B1a in an up-scaled processes.
