지역주민 특성과 인지도가 공공병원 이용경험에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Personal Characteristics and Public Hospitals Awareness by Community Residents on use-experience of Public Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore the effects of personal characteristics, satisfaction, quality of care, role performance, image, awareness level of public hospitals perceived by community residents on use-experience of public hospitals. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 2,100 community residents around 39 district public hospitals. The questionnaire was designed to collected information on personal characteristics and community awareness of public hospitals. The community awareness consists of 5 factors and 15 items. The data were collected utilizing call-interview by a survey company. Results: The personal characteristic and community awareness were shown significant differences between having use-experience and not-having use-experience of public hospitals (p<.001), except gender. As the results of multiple logistic regression, the significant variables of use-experience of public hospitals were satisfaction (OR=1.06 95%CI=1.010-1.116), quality of care (OR=1.07, 95%CI=1.016-1.134, level of awareness to public hospitals (OR=1.50, 95%CI=1.378-1.632), age (OR=0.43, 95%CI=0.236-0.785), education (OR=1.62, 95%CI=1.013-2.590), type of medical security (OR=0.37, 95%CI=0.142-0.945). Conclusions: Public hospitals have to effort to improve community awareness through providing quality of care, and role performance. It is possible to support them by the Central and Local Government.

Factors Affecting the Performance of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) control- Focus on Empowerment and Awareness of General Hospital Nurses

  • The aims of the study to investigate the relationship between awareness, empowerment and performance of healthcare associated infections (HAIs) control and to identify factors influencing performance of HAIs among general hospital nurses. Data were collected from 230 nurses in two general hospitals in B city, with the questionnaire of an empowerment, awareness and performance of infection control tool. The data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regressions. The performance of infection control was significantly correlated with empowerment and awareness of infection control. The empowerment had a positive correlation with an awareness of infection control (r= .233, p <.001) respectively. The infection control performance was influenced by infection control awareness, empowerment and number of annual job training, which explained 42.2% of the performance of infection control. Infection management performance of general hospitals nurses is affected not only by infection awareness but also by empowerment and job education. Therefore, it suggests that HAIs management program could develop for the nurses and provide empowerment with job training to improve the management and performance of HAIs, also to reinforce via constant support by the hospital.

  • Popular business magazines continue to highlight the employee's emotional intelligence in the organization. The purpose of this study is to explore a mediation mechanism of the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction in China IT corporation. For this, this study focused on examining the influential relationship between employee's emotional intelligence, Awareness of Self-Emotion, Awareness of other-Emotion, Emotion management, Emotion Control and job satisfaction and the mediating effect of organization culture awareness upon the relationship. Study findings are as follows : First, China IT corporation employee emotional intelligence has a significant positive(+) effect on job satisfaction and is partially supported organization culture awareness. Second, organization culture awareness has partially mediated effect on relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. In this study, the more employee's emotional intelligence have a positive impact on job satisfaction and organizational culture. We can designing a support program that emotional intelligence and organization culture awareness for China IT corporation employees will have direct influence upon job satisfaction. Employee's great talent to make good use of elements of emotional intelligence that promote the work environment and their's condition and the relationship between employee and employee.

A Training Intervention for Supervisors to Support a Work-Life Policy Implementation

  • Background: Effective policy implementation is essential for a healthy workplace. The Ryan-Kossek 2008 model for work-life policy adoption suggests that supervisors as gatekeepers between employer and employee need to know how to support and communicate benefit regulations. This article describes a workplace intervention on a national employee benefit, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and evaluates the effectiveness of the intervention on supervisor knowledge, awareness, and experience with FMLA. Methods: The intervention consisted of computer-based training (CBT) and a survey measuring awareness and experience with FMLA. The training was administered to 793 county government supervisors in the state of Oregon, USA. Results: More than 35% of supervisors reported no previous training on FMLA and the training pre-test revealed a lack of knowledge regarding benefit coverage and employer responsibilities. The CBT achieved: (1) a significant learning effect and large effect size of d = 2.0, (2) a positive reaction to the training and its design, and (3) evidence of increased knowledge and awareness regarding FMLA. Conclusion: CBT is an effective strategy to increase supervisors' knowledge and awareness to support policy implementation. The lack of supervisor training and knowledge of an important but complex employee benefit exposes a serious impediment to effective policy implementation and may lead to negative outcomes for the organization and the employee, supporting the Ryan-Kossek model. The results further demonstrate that long-time employees need supplementary training on complex workplace policies such as FMLA.

건설근로자가 인식하는 안전의식이 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과와 조절후원인식의 조절효과 (The Effect of Safety Awareness Perceived by Construction Workers on Unsafe Act: Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction and the Adjustment Effect of Perceived Organizational Support)

  • 본 연구는 건설근로자들의 불안전한 행동을 감소시키는 방안으로 건설근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식이 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 직무만족의 매개효과와 조직후원인식의 조절효과를 실증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2019년 7월1일부터 7월20일까지 전국 23개 건설현장 근로자를 대상으로 439명의 설문지를 받아 데이터 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 건설근로자가 지각하는 안전의식은 직무만족에 직접적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 건설근로자가 인식하는 직무만족은 불안전행동에 직접적으로 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 건설근로자가 인식하는 안전의식과 불안전행동의 관계에서 직무만족을 매개로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 안전의식과 직무만족의 관계에서 조직후원인식의 조절효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 건설근로자의 불안전한 행동을 감소시키는 방안으로 건설근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식이 직무만족을 매개로하여 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향관계가 검증되었고, 구성원들이 조직후원인식을 얼마나 인식하는지에 따라 직무만족에 영향을 미치는지 통계적으로 검증되었다. 본 연구는 건설현장에서 근로자들이 불안전한 행동을 예방하기 위해서는 근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식과 직무만족이 향상에 따라 안전행동이 증가하고 불안전행동의 감소된 다는 것을 의미하고 있다.

저속 WPAN에서 수신신호세기의 Vector Matching을 이용한 위치 인식 방식 (Location Awareness Method using Vector Matching of RSSI in Low-Rate WPAN)

  • Recently, RFID/USN is one of fundamental technologies in information and communications networks. Low-Rate WPAN, IEEE802.15.4 is a low-cost communication network that allows wireless connectivity in applications with limited Power and relaxed throughput requirements. Its applications are building automation, personal healthcare, industrial control, consumer electronics, and so on. Some applications require location information. Of course location awareness is useful to improve usability of data Low-Rate WPAN Is regarded as a key specification of the sensor network with the characteristics of wireless communication, computing, energy scavenging, self-networking, and etc. Unfortunately ZigBee alliance propose a lot of applications based on location aware technologies, but the specification and low-rate WPAN devices don't support anything about location-based services. RSSI ( Received Signal Strength indication) is for energy detection to associate, channel selection, and etc. RSSI is used to find the location of a potable device in WLAN. In this paper we studied indoor location awareness using vector matching of RSSI in low-Rate wireless PAN. We analyzed the characteristics of RSSI according to distance and experimented location awareness. We implemented sensor nodes with different shapes and configured the sensor network for the location awareness with 4 fixed nodes and a mobile node. We try to contribute developing location awareness method using RSSI in 3-dimension space.

도서관 및 지역 특성이 도서관 이용자의 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Library and Local Characteristics on Multicultural Awareness of Library Users)

  • 한국 사회에서 다문화인이 겪는 편견과 차별로 인한 어려움을 해결하기 위해서는 시민들의 다문화 인식이 고양될 필요가 있으며, 공공도서관은 시민이 다문화에 대한 이해의 폭과 기회를 넓혀 나가는 문화 교류의 장으로 시민의 다문화 인식에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 공공도서관 및 지역의 특성에 따라 공공도서관 일반 이용자의 다문화 인식에 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 어떤 특성이 다문화 인식에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과, 도서관별로 도서관 이용자의 다문화 인식에 유의한 차이가 있음을 파악하였고, 이를 통해 도서관 특성이 이용자의 다문화 인식에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 공공도서관이 전반적인 서비스 제공에 있어 문화다양성 측면을 고려하여야 할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다.

여성 근로자의 일·가정양립지원제도 인식과 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Female Workers' Recognition and Utilization about Work-Family Balance Support Policy)

  • 본 연구는 여성 근로자의 일 가정양립지원제도에 대한 인식과 활용 간의 관계성 및 이용실태를 분석하였다. 연구결과 현 직장에서 시행 비중이 높으며 가장 많이 이용한 일 가정양립지원제도는 육아휴직제-시차출퇴근제-육아기 근로시간단축제 순이었다. 일 가정양립지원제도 인지도(p<.001)와 이용 만족도(p<.05)는 일 가정양립지원제도 효과성 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 향후 일 가정양립지원제도 이용의도에 대한 일 가정양립지원제도 인지도 및 이용 만족도의 영향은 유의하지 않았으나 가족적 지지(배우자, 부모, 시부모)가 한계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 여성 근로자의 일 가정양립지원제도에 대한 인식과 활용 간의 영향관계를 분석함으로써 정책의 효과성을 파악하고, 가족적 차원까지 고려대상을 넓힌 데에 연구의 의의가 있다.

부모 음주문제정도에 따른 학령기 아동의 사회적 능력과 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Social Competence in School-aged Children according to Alcohol Consumption by Parents')

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting the social competence of school-aged children according alcohol consumption by their parents. Methods: The participants were 558 5th grade elementary school students. Data were collected using structured questionnaires from September 17 to October 2 2013, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis with the SPSS PC+ 21.0 program. Results: Participants were classified into three groups according to alcohol use; Non-use parent group (52.7%), social use parent group (31.0%), and problem use parent group (16.3%). Participants whose parents were problem users had significantly lower scores on emotional awareness and expression (F=14.45, p<.001), social support (F=5.82, p=.003), and social competence (F=16.33, p<.001) compared to students in the other two groups. In school-aged children with parents who were alcohol abusers, the variables that predicted social competence was friend support (66.0%). Conclusion: These results emphasize the importance of focusing on the crucial role of peer support in the development of social competence in school-aged children of parents who abuse alcohol. Further, for these children, interventions aimed at improving social support and children's emotional awareness and expression may be most beneficial.

결혼이주여성의 가족상담 필요성 인식 관련 요인의 탐색 (Factors related to the Awareness for the Needs of Family Counseling for Married Immigrant Women)

  • 본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 가족상담 필요성 인식에 미치는 요인들을 파악함으로써, 결혼이주여성과 다문화가족을 위한 가족상담의 지원 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 보건복지부에서 실시한 2010년도 전국다문화실태조사자료를 사용하여 결혼이주여성 총 58,072명을 대상으로, 사회인구학적 변인, 한국어 능력, 사회적 지지, 가족관계 만족도, 가족상담 경험 유무를 중심으로 가족상담 필요성 인식에 미치는 요인들을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결혼이주여성은 가족상담에 대해 보통 수준으로 필요성을 인식하고 있었으며, 한국어 능력 수준도 중간 수준이었다. 사회적 지지원이 한국인, 모국인 모두 2명을 넘지 않았고, 배우자, 자녀, 시부모와의 관계에 대해서는 전반적으로 만족하고 있었다. 둘째, 결혼이주여성의 출신국가에 따른 가족상담 필요성 인식에 대한 차이가 나타났다. 조선족, 중국, 일본 출신의 여성들은 가족상담 필요성 인식이 낮았고, 베트남, 필리핀, 캄보디아 등 동남아 출신 여성들은 가족상담 필요성에 대한 인식이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 결혼이주여성들은 연령이 어리고, 본인의 학력이 높고, 배우자의 학력이 낮고, 결혼지속년수가 짧고, 자녀가 많고, 배우자 부모와 동거하고 있고, 스스로 배우자를 만나지 않았을 경우, 가족상담에 대한 필요성을 더 높게 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 한국어 능력이 낮고, 사회적 지지원으로 한국인의 수가 적고, 배우자와의 관계에 불만족하고, 자녀와의 관계에 만족하고, 상담에 대한 경험이 있는 경우 가족상담 필요성에 대한 인식이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.
