The research aims to identify factors affecting the use of government export marketing assistance programs and future improvements of the programs. 500 Korean exporting firms were used as a sample and research hypotheses were tested by the structural equation modeling using AMOS 7.0. The empirical findings are as follows. First, exporting firms' awareness of export marketing assistance programs showed a positive impact on their use of the programs. Second, small exporters showed higher awareness and use of the programs than large ones. Third, the firms with low export intensity showed higher awareness and use of the programs than those with high export intensity. Fourth, exporters having high orientations for overseas market showed higher awareness and use of the programs than those with low international orientations. Fifth, exporters having high proportion of direct exports showed higher awareness and use of the programs than those with low proportion of direct exports. Also, the effects of these firm-specific characteristics on the use of the programs were found to be done indirectly, in other words, through the awareness of the programs. Therefore, it was concluded that export marketing assistance program would be differentiated and specialized to fit in with exporters' different exporting stages and needs. Also, in order to increase the use of the programs, exporters' awareness and knowledge of the programs have to be increased in advance.

Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship of knowledge related to disease, awareness and practice of inhaler use in asthmatic patients. Method: The participants in this research were 124 patients with asthma who used inhalers, and were admitted to hospital or attended outpatient asthmatic clinics. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire which consisted of demographic characteristics, illness-related characteristics, and tools to measure knowledge of disease, awareness and practice related to inhaler use. Results: Knowledge related to disease was statistically significantly different for age (p<.001) and marital status (p=.017). The mean score for awareness of inhaler use was significantly higher than the mean score for practice in inhaler use (p<.001). There were significant correlations between awareness and practice of inhaler use (p<.001), knowledge related to disease and awareness of inhaler use (p<.001), and knowledge related to disease and practice of inhaler use (p<.001). Conclusion: Results indicate that due to the variation in degree of illness in patients with asthma, there is a need to develop appropriate education programs for people of different ages and also precise ${\alpha}$ II content for use of inhalers method of checking capacity washing and storing as well as directions about different kinds of the inhalers.
Purpose: This study aims to explore the effects of personal characteristics, satisfaction, quality of care, role performance, image, awareness level of public hospitals perceived by community residents on use-experience of public hospitals. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 2,100 community residents around 39 district public hospitals. The questionnaire was designed to collected information on personal characteristics and community awareness of public hospitals. The community awareness consists of 5 factors and 15 items. The data were collected utilizing call-interview by a survey company. Results: The personal characteristic and community awareness were shown significant differences between having use-experience and not-having use-experience of public hospitals (p<.001), except gender. As the results of multiple logistic regression, the significant variables of use-experience of public hospitals were satisfaction (OR=1.06 95%CI=1.010-1.116), quality of care (OR=1.07, 95%CI=1.016-1.134, level of awareness to public hospitals (OR=1.50, 95%CI=1.378-1.632), age (OR=0.43, 95%CI=0.236-0.785), education (OR=1.62, 95%CI=1.013-2.590), type of medical security (OR=0.37, 95%CI=0.142-0.945). Conclusions: Public hospitals have to effort to improve community awareness through providing quality of care, and role performance. As household energy consumption has increased, serious environmental problems, such as resource depletion and global warming, are becoming global issues. It is essential to conduct the energy use of residents living in apartments in order to come up with alternative solutions for energy savings. Therefore, this study examined the energy use awareness of apartment residents and their energy use behavior by various types of awareness. To understand their energy use behavior according to the awareness of the subjects, the energy awareness dimension was created with five factors and they were subject to a cluster analysis; then, the subjects were categorized into three groups. Finally, the difference of energy use behavior was examined by groups of energy awareness. G1 represents the group that is indifferent to energy savings and believes that convenience is an important factor. Also, with respect to energy use behavior, this group tends to pursue convenience. G2 is the group that is conscious of energy use costs thereby enduring some inconvenience, and shows savings behavior in daily life and household affairs. Although, G3 is very aware of the significance for the necessity of energy saving, their energy saving behavior is relatively negative. Regarding these different characteristics of each resident group in their energy saving awareness and behaviors, diverse methods and promotion in energy education are required. Furthermore, an effective energy policy should be established based on the understanding of energy consumption.
The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of tobacco use, beliefs and risk awareness and psychosocial correlates of tobacco use among university students in 24 low, middle and emerging economy countries. Using anonymous questionnaires, data were collected from 16953 undergraduate university students (mean age 20.9, SD=2.9) from 25 universities in 24 countries across Asia, Africa and the Americas. Results indicate that overall 13.3% of the university students were current tobacco users, 22.4% for men and 6.6% for women, ranging from 3.8% in Singapore to 32.5% in Cameroon. The risk awareness of the smoking lung cancer link was 83.6%, while the risk awareness of the smoking heart disease link was 46.5%. Multivariate logistic regression found that older age, male gender, having a wealthy family background, living in a low income country, residing off campus on their own, poor beliefs in the importance not to smoke, awareness of the smoking heart disease link, hit by a sexual partner, depressive symptoms, and substance use (binge drinking and illicit drug use) were associated with current tobacco use.
Social networking service (SNS) is a service that allows people to share information, manage relationships with others, and express themselves on the Internet. The number of SNS users have increased explosively with the growth of mobile devices such as smartphones. As the influence of SNS has grown extensively, potential threats to privacy have also become pervasive. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the main factors that affect users' intentions to use security functions provided by their SNS. The main theories for this study include the rational choice theory and the theory of planned behavior. This study has identified the factors that affect intention to use security functions. In addition, security function awareness and information security awareness are found to be important antecedents for intention to use security functions. The results of this study implies that when SNS providers develop security policies, they should consider the ways to improve users information security awareness and security function awareness simultaneously.

As the importance of Knowledge Management System (KMS) in the military increases, Republic of Korea Army (ROK Army) developed Army Knowledge Portal. Although the members in the military are encouraged to use the portal, few members currently use it. This study was conducted to find variables to predict the user's intention to use the portal, which contributes to activating the use of Army Knowledge Portal in the army. On the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), ten variables such as perceived ease of use, general information security awareness, information security awareness, expectation for external rewards, expectation for relationships, sense of self-worth, attitude toward compliance with security policy, attitude toward knowledge sharing, intention of non-combat knowledge sharing, and intention of combat knowledge sharing were considered as independent variables. 105 participants on active duty who currently use or have experience to use the portal participated in this study. The results indicated that general information security awareness and information security awareness increases compliance with the information security policy. In addition, the attitude toward knowledge sharing is enhanced by expectations for relationship and sense of self-worth. Based on the results, the authors propose the need for policy alternatives to reinforce the reward system and security policy, which activates the use of Knowledge Portal Service for ROK Army.
The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness and the behavior of adolescents about consumption. Two-hundred students attending in high school were selected, and surveyed using questionnaires. Among them, 196 students were used in statistical analyses, with frequency, percentage, mean, correlation analysis, and regression analysis in SPSS/PC+ program. The results were as follows: the levels of the awareness and the behavior of adolescents about consumption in each of purchase, use and disposition steps were more or less middle in terms of rationality or soundness. The correlations between the awareness and the behavior on conspicuous-consumption and between the awareness and the behavior of imitated-consumption in a purchase step were negatively siginificant, and the correlation between the awareness and the behavior on product frugality in a use step was positively significant. In a purchase step, the conspicuous-consumption behavior was affected by the conspicuous-consumption awareness and sex, while the imitated-consumption behavior was affeted by the imitated-consumption awareness, sex and monthly household income. The consumption behavior on product frugality in a use step was affected by its' awareness, monthly household income, and personal expense management. The environment conservation behavior in a disposition was influenced only by monthly personal expenses.
