고객보상 프로그램이 고객 유지에 미치는 효과: 교육 서비스 산업을 중심으로 (The Influence of Loyalty Program on the Effect of Customer Retention: Focused on Education Service Industry)

  • 이번 연구는 실제 기업 자료를 기반으로 고객보상 프로그램이 고객 유지(retention)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 특히 고객보상 프로그램의 효과를 보다 명확히 확인하기 위해 유사실험설계(quasi-experimental design)를 사용하였다. 그리고 1년이 넘는 장기적인 시간 프레임 속에서 고객보상 프로그램의 도입 시점을 전후로 소비자 집단을 구분하고 이들 집단의 비교를 통해 고객보상 프로그램의 효과를 파악하였다. 이러한 연구 설계를 고려한 이유는 종적 자료를 사용한 선행 연구들이 고객보상 프로그램의 도입 시점 이후부터 가입 고객과 비가입 고객을 대상으로 프로그램의 효과를 측정하였기 때문에 자기선택오류(self-selection bias)의 가능성이 존재하였기 때문이다. 이번 연구는 고객보상 프로그램의 도입 시점을 전후로 두 집단을 비교하기 위해 자료를 특정 시점을 기준으로 절단(censoring)하였다. 생존분석(survival analysis)은 다른 분석기법에 비해 불완전한 자료가 포함되더라도 분석이 상대적으로 용이하므로 이번 연구의 분석방법으로 선택하였다. 분석 결과 고객보상 프로그램을 실시하기 전에는 소비자들의 거래기간이 평균 179일이었으나 고객보상 프로그램을 도입한 이후에는 227일로 약 50일 정도 더 늘어났다. 이러한 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타나 연구 가설을 지지하였다. 또한 콕스 비례위험모형을 사용하여 고객보상 프로그램과 영향 변수들의 상호작용효과를 확인한 결과 기존고객들은 고객보상 프로그램이 도입된 후 신규고객들에 비해 회사와의 거래기간이 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났으며 긍정적인 서비스(예: 30일 이내 입회)를 경험한 고객들도 회사와의 거래기간이 유의하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 부정적인 서비스(예: 30일 이후 입회)를 경험한 고객이라 하더라도 고객보상 프로그램을 도입한 이후에는 회사와의 거래기간이 증가하였다. 이번 연구에서 나타난 결과들을 정리하면 고객보상 프로그램은 고객과 긍정적인 관계를 형성하는 데 기여할 뿐만 아니라 이탈 장벽까지 구축해 줌으로써 기업의 경쟁력을 강화시키는 수단으로서의 가치가 있다고 생각할 수 있다.

재활병원 작업치료사의 근골격계 증상과 직무스트레스와의 관련성 (The relations between the Musculoskeletal Symptoms and Job Stress of Occupational Therapists at Rehabilitation Hospitals)

  • 본 연구는 재활병원 작업치료사들의 근골격계 증상과 직무스트레스와의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 서울 및 경기도에 위치한 재활병원 작업치료사 총 210명을 대상으로 2014년 6월 1일부터 7월 30일 사이에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구에 참여한 대상자들의 평균 연령은 $25.4{\pm}3.4$세이었고, 평균 근무기간은 $2.3{\pm}2.1$년이었다. 참여자 중 여자가 151명(71.9%)이었고 정규직이 171명(81.4%)이었다. 대상자들 중 114명(54.3%)이 근골격계 증상을 경험하였고, 주된 손상부위는 손/손가락(21%)과 다리(18.6%)였다. 여성이 직무스트레스의 고위험군이 남성에 비해 더 많았고 직무스트레스에 대한 위험도가 높을수록 근골격계 발생 빈도가 증가하였다. 남성은 '직무요구', '보상부적절'과 '직장문화'에서 스트레스가 높을수록 근골격계 발생 빈도가 증가하였고, 여성은 '관계갈등', '보상부적절' 에 대한 스트레스가 높을수록 근골격계 발생 빈도가 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다(p<0.05).

DQN 기반 비디오 스트리밍 서비스에서 세그먼트 크기가 품질 선택에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Segment Size on Quality Selection in DQN-based Video Streaming Services)

  • The Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP(DASH) is envisioned to evolve to meet an increasing demand on providing seamless video streaming services in the near future. The DASH performance heavily depends on the client's adaptive quality selection algorithm that is not included in the standard. The existing conventional algorithms are basically based on a procedural algorithm that is not easy to capture and reflect all variations of dynamic network and traffic conditions in a variety of network environments. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a novel quality selection mechanism based on the Deep Q-Network(DQN) model, the DQN-based DASH Adaptive Bitrate(ABR) mechanism. The proposed mechanism adopts a new reward calculation method based on five major performance metrics to reflect the current conditions of networks and devices in real time. In addition, the size of the consecutive video segment to be downloaded is also considered as a major learning metric to reflect a variety of video encodings. Experimental results show that the proposed mechanism quickly selects a suitable video quality even in high error rate environments, significantly reducing frequency of quality changes compared to the existing algorithm and simultaneously improving average video quality during video playback.

간호학생의 임상실습 교육을 위한 임상지도자 활용 모델 적용 효과에 관한 연구 (The effect of preceptorship on clinical education of nursing students)

  • This study examined effect of preceptorship on clinical education of 39 senior nursing students. Competency scores and satisfaction with preceptors scores were investigated. Competency scores of the students before the clinical education (pre-competency scores) were compared with the competency scores after the clinical education (post-competency scores), and satisfactory scores were also examined after the clinical education. Study results showed that the total post-competency scores were increased compared to the total pre-competency scores, and this increment was statistically significant. However, analyzing sub-domains of the competency scores indicated only the nursing-skill domain scores were increased while the scores of interpersonal domain and management domain were increased but statistically insignificant. Satisfaction with preceptors scores were also more than the average scores reflecting the students were satisfied with their preceptors generally. The students, However, grade low in the preceptors' intellectual ability while their professional and interpersonal ability were rather satisfied. This study indicated preceptors should make more efforts to teach interpersonal and management skill and increase their intellectual ability. This study recommended a systematic reward system for the preceptors to increase the motivation to teach students is needed.

스트레스 결과변수의 결정요인으로서의 강인성에 관한 연구 -간호사의 소진(burnout)을 중심으로- (Hardiness : Determinants of Psychological Distress from Stress)

  • This study was undertaken in order to examine the effect of hardiness on stress-causing factors, defined in this study as burnout in nursing. The subjects were 248 nurses working in three general hospitals in Taejon. The instruments used for this study were a survey of general characteristics, modified Health-Related Hardiness Scale(HRHS) (25 items), job stress scale (63 items), and burnout scale (20 items). Analysis of data was done through the mean, percentage, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression done with a SAS program. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The average item score for the job stress was high at 4.44. In the subcategories, the highest degree of stress was night duty(5.11), and work overload(4.70), responsibility for extra affairs(4.70), conflict in nurse-doctor relationships(4.69), and low reward(4.63) in that order. 2) In the stepwise multiple regression analysis, hardiness(11.55%) was a significant determinant of burnout along with job stress(17.24%) and job duration(12.94%). The results of this study show that hardiness has an effect on psychological distress caused by stress.

조종사 양성교육기관의 안전문화지수 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Culture Index Measurement of Pilot Training School)

  • The importance of safety culture improvement and transformation has highlighted since an organization's safety culture can be the causal factor of the accident. Every designated aviation training school have to manage their own SMS and will comply with the regulations specified in article 49, Korean Aviation law. In related regulations, it is specified the safety culture status and problems of an organizations must be accessed and improved. On this study, safety culture index of designated aviation training school has measured using abbreviated CASS developed by KTSA. Results from the statistical analysis, the overall safety culture average found as 3.711. Among the subindex, mean of 'Employee Empowerment' appeared the most high(3.980) and 'Reward System' appeared the most low(3.309). Service providers are able to apply the intervention strategy on the basis of the results of these measurements. The weak part of Safety Culture might be improved and this will lead the better organizational culture.

공상 소방공무원의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 -경북지역을 중심으로- (A Study on Occupational Stress for the Injured Firefighter: Focusing on Gyeongbuk Province)

  • 본 연구는 공상 소방공무원에 관한 직무스트레스에 관하여 조사 연구하여 소방공무원의 안전보건을 향상시킬 수 있는 기본 자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행되었으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 공상 소방공무원의 직무스트레스는 일반 소방공무원에 비하여 상당히 높으며, 각 세부항목에서는 보상부적절, 조직체계, 직장 문화, 직무불안정에 대하여 상대적으로 스트레스를 더 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 한국남자평균에 비하여는 물리적환경, 직장문화에 대하여 상대적으로 스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 공상 소방공무원의 외상후 스트레스 장애(PTSD)를 한국판 사건충격척도(IES-R-K)로 측정한 결과 조사대상의 75%(30명)가 장애를 느끼는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The study aims to investigates and explore the quality of work life (QWL) and also to find out which QWL factors are considered as primary factors among employees of PT. Duta Transformasi Insani, a consulting service management in Indonesia. The factors of QWL in this study consist of nine components, which are: work environment, organizational culture and climate, relation and cooperation, training and development, reward and compensation, facilities, job satisfaction and job security, work autonomy, and resource adequacy. This study conducted a survey of every employee who works for PT. Duta Insani, which consists of various sample characteristics, such as gender, education level, and length of employment. The descriptive analysis also analyzes how the QWL condition in this company. The method in this research using quantitative descriptive and factor analysis, together with validity and reliability tests, to fulfill the study objectives. The results showed that most dimensions of employees' QWL are within a valid category, with an 80 percent average of this variable. Furthermore, the results also indicate there are two major factors constituting the quality of work life of the employees of PT. Duta Transformasi, which are supportive organizational culture, accounting for 47.75 percent, and organizational facilities, accounting for 13.03 percent.

여자 고등학생의 우울, 기질 및 성격특성이 흡연에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Depression, Temperament and Character of Female Adolescents on Smoking Behavior)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the smoking behaviors and to identify the impacts of depression, temperament, and characteristic on smoking experience in the female adolescents. Methods: This study surveyed 691 highschool girls in the Gangwon area using self -administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0. using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: The smoking rate of the highschool girls was lower than that of the national average. Depression was observed to be seriously in the highschool girls. There were a positive correlations among smoking experience, the school records and novelty seeking and a negative correlation between smoking and cooperativeness. The significant predictors of smoking experience were the type of school, the satisfaction with school the school records, novelty seeking, reward dependence and cooperativeness. Conclusion: These results suggest that femalel adolescents who have the factors identified in this study are considered to have the potential for smoking. These results provide the basis for developing smoking prevention and cessation programs.

SCI 발표 논문 수를 통해본 의과대학 연구 생산성 (Research productivity of the medical school by SCI publications)

  • Purpose : The aim of this study is to analyse the research productivity of SCI publications at medical schools in Korea. Methods: We collected the 5,386 SCI publications from 10 medical schools that were published in 2002 and 2003. Most of the materials treated herein are derived from the database of the Institute of Scientific Information from April 13, to May 25, 2005. Values are analyzed by medical school, major and IF index and presented as frequency and percentages. Results : There were 2,350 publications in 2002 and 3,036 publications in 2003. The average publication rate per faculty was .71 in 2002 and it was increased to .90 in 2003. Of the total 5,386 manuscripts, 1.248(23.2%) papers were from work conducted at basic science department and 3,224(76.8%) were from work performed at clinical science department. The major such as pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, internal medicine, diagnostic radiology and dermatology published a lot of SCI papers. A large percentage of papers (41.74%) were in journals with reported l<=IF<3. Conclusions : There was wide variability in the research productivity among the medical schools or majors. This variability reflects the importance of the institutional characteristics of each medical school in predicting the research productivity. Some of these institutional characteristics include the size of the faculty. available research funding, research vision of medical school, visible system of measurement and any associated reward system.
