자동차용 엔진오일의 열화도 측정 센서연구 (A Study on Deterioration Measurement Sensor in the Automobile Engine Oil)

  • This work is aimed to measure the deterioration in oil sensor. For the study, the circuit of a coil-type oil sensor packaged was developed and applied to the automobile engine for monitoring the deterioration of engine oil in driving conditions. From the principle which the deterioration of automobile engine oil can be expressed to the dielectric constant, the capacitance bridge circuit and the integrator circuit were designed. As results, the range of operating temperature of engine oil was experimentally recommended within $55^{\circ}C$ for the stability of a sensor designed. It was also concluded that the characteristics of output voltage converted from the dielectric constant were linearly distributed and predicted the optimized time for the exchange of engine oil.

  • 본 논문은 자동차의 엔진오일에 사용되는 여러 윤활기유에 대하여 비마모 특성을 실험적 연구에 의해 분석하였다. 비마모량 점도와 온도 등과 같은 여러 가지 속도 조건 하에서의 마찰력과 측정된 수직하증으로부터 계산되었다. 엔진오일에 사용되는 기유는 여러 가지 작동 상태에 따라 마찰 특성의 관계가 확인되었다.

  • This paper is aimed to develop the circuit of a coil-type oil sensor packaged to the automotive engine oil monitoring the deterioration in the driving condition and let a driver notify the optimized time for the exchange of engine oil.   • In recent years reduction in noise and vibration in automobile has been strongly required not only from the standpoint of environmental regulations but also for raising the commercial value and ride comfort. Vibration damping steel sheets, which are composites made by sandwitching a visco-elastic resin layer between two steel sheets, have been developed as effective noise-abating materials and have found a growth of use in automobile industries. Vibration damping steel sheets for commercial use must be excellent in vibration damping property, press formability and spot weldability, but are inferior to ordinary steel sheets. In this study, the mechanical properties of vibration damping steel are evaluated, and press formability is analysed on the basis of those properties and shear bonding strength. The development of engine oil pan using damping steel sheets are also reported, focusing on serious problems in oil pan drawing.

  • According as diesel automobile are produced, reduce noise and vibration that is occurred by characteristic of diesel engine, and need engine room layout optimization and research for light weight of parts. Balance Shaft Module is module parts for vehicles engine to improve performance and efficiency of engine and reduce noise and vibration. These days, an oil pump integrated balance shaft module and an oil sump integrated balance shaft module is on the rising for optimizing of engine room. In this study, produced prototype of oil pump integrated type balance shaft module, and achieved dynamic characteristic test about experimental modal analysis and noise/vibration of balance shaft module.

  • The oil pressure switch(OPS) for automobile is very important part to prevent an overheated engine and other problems by checking the operation of an engine oil system and displaying oil signs on a dashboard. OPS is the part that receives various stress caused by temperature, vibration, and corrosion in an engine room. Regarding existing steel OPS cases, there occur field errors due to the rust, and much concern comes from the low anticorrosion caused by CR6+ Free according to the restrictions of heavy metals. Therefore, the study analyzed average life, the failure rate, and reliability through the tests of performance according to temperature changes, mechanical strength, and run-test in order to confirm if the use of the oil pressure switch with Al of anti-corrosion can improves the reliability, instead of the existing steel products.

  • 자동차 엔진오일은 엔진 시동 시 가장 중요한 윤활제이다. 최근 자동차 회사 와 윤활유 제조업체들은 교환주기를 연장하기 위해 첨가제를 사용하여 오일의 품질을 상당히 개선하고 있다. 대부분의 고객은 자동차 제작사의 정품오일을 사용하거나 전문가의 추천을 받아 사용한다. 본 논문을 통해 소비자가 고효율 윤활유를 선택하는 또 다른 기준점을 제안한다. 본 논문은 7개월 동안 실제 자동차의 운전 조건을 고려하여 오일의 6가지 화합물을 조사 비교 분석하였다. 물리적, 화학적 관점에서 실험을 수행했다. 현장에서 다양한 실험을 통해 광유와 합성유 화합물은 산화, 점도, 유동성 및 TBN에서 크게 구분된다. 이들은 엔진 부품 피스톤, 베어링 등의 마모에 영향을 준다. 다양한 오일을 비교하였을 때 인화점, 산화 안정성에서 합성유의 성능이 좋고 오염 물질인 Fe와 Al 화합물의 변화가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 오일의 첨가제는 광유와 합성유에서 청정분산제 Ca가 확연한 차이를 나타냈다. 극압제 Zn과 윤활 향상제 P는 유사하였다.

마그네슘 합금 오일팬 개발을 위한 동적 강성 및 주파수 응답 해석 (Dynamic Stiffness and Frequency Response Analysis for the Development of Magnesium Oil Pans)

  • The oil pan is an important factor for the noise behavior of the engine system. In this paper a new Magnesium oil pan was designed and analyzed to replace the current Aluminium oil pan. Dynamic stiffness and sound pressure level of the newly designed Mg oil pan were compared with the AI oil pan using the finite element method. NVH characteristics of the Mg oil pan is slightly insufficient when we changed the material of the oil pan from Al to Mg without modifying the design. Some design modifications of the Mg oil pan resulted in equal or superior characteristics compared to the Al oil pan. New ribs were added to stiffen the structure of the Mg oil pan. Thickness of thin plate area was increased to reduce the radiated noise. Through the changes of shape, higher dynamic stiffness than the current Al oil pan were achieved. Results of frequency response analysis show that we can reduce the sound pressure level of the oil pan if we increase the thickness of the thin plate area. It is shown that the new Mg oil pan could reduce the weight of the engine system and improve NVH quality of an automobile.

  • 자동차 엔진용 thermostat에서 냉각수 온도제어를 위해 사용되는 wax의 제조 및 성분 분석을 실시하였다. 제조된 시료에 대해 lift 실험을 실시해 본 결과, 용제 추출법에 의해 제조된 시료가 자동차 엔진용 thermostat으로 사용 가능한 범위내에 있게 됨을 볼 수 있었다. 또한, 원유의 pitch를 용제 추출한 후 감압 증류 및 산처리를 하면 보다 정밀한 wax를 제조 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
