자동차 릴레이스 위치 생산공정의 작업자수 선정을 위한 시뮬레이션 연구 (A Simulation Study on the Number of Operators of Automobile Relay Switch Production)

  • In this paper, a production process system simulation of the automobile relay switch manufacturing factory is studied. The status of the present production system is inspected first, and the modified model is simulated next. To inspect the effect of the process parameter change, a simulation program is developed using PROMODEL simulation software plus the EXCEL VBA and Active X Automation function. Using the developed simulation program, user can find the best production condition and alternatives on the production capacity, number of workers, and inspection status considering the defective ratio of the product. The feasibility of the new alternatives is compared with the present system using statistical method.

  • Gabion can be used for the purpose of preventing overflow of river and side loss of road. However the manufacturing process of the gabion is manually controlled especially to the joining process at the terminal part of gabion with small diameter wire. In this paper automatic feeding guide system was designed and fabricated to make automation. The fabricated system was tested in the factory level. Pneumatic system was considered as the main idea of the feeding system. 3/2-way and 5/2-way manual control valve, eight double-acting cylinders were used. Based on the theoretical simulation and actual test the fabricated system was well controlled. The system was applied to the patent.

  • The development of flexible automation in the manufacturing industry is concerned with production activities performed by unmanned machining system. A major topic relevant to metal-cutting operations is monitoring tool wear, which affects process efficiency and product quality, and implementing automatic tool replacements. In this paper, the measurement of the cutting force components has been found to provide a method for an in-process detection of tool wear. Cutting force components are divided into static and dynamic components in this paper, and the static components of cutting force have been used to detect flank wear. To eliminate the influence of variations in cutting conditions, tools, and workpiece materials, the force modeling is performed for various cutting conditions. The normalized force disparities are defined in this paper, and the relationships between normalized disparity and flank wear are established. Finally, Artificial neural network is used to learn these relationships and detect tool wear. According to the proposed method, the static force components could provide the effective means to detect flank wear for varying cutting conditions in turning operation.

  • This paper deals with the monitoring of grinding wheel wear in surface grinding process. A monitoring system, which makes use of a laser scanning micrometer, is developed to measure the circumferential shape as well as the axial profile of grinding wheel. The monitoring system is applied to surface grinding processes. The experimental results show that the developed monitoring system is useful not only for monitoring the amount of wear in grinding wheel but also for evaluation the quality of ground surface and determining proper derssing time for the grinding wheel.

잠수함 개념 설계를 위한 디지털 목업 개발 (Development of a Digital Mock-up for Conceptual Design of a Submarine)

  • In designing and manufacturing a submarine, an expensive real mock up is usually built as a reference because of the spatial constraints of a submarine. This paper presents an integrated and automated design process for a submarine that uses a digital mock up. Various equipment libraries are built for feature based design. Using the developed digital mock up, this paper shows various ways to verify the design, including a space analysis to check for any interference between pieces of equipment and the hull and an ergonomic analysis using lifelike dummies to examine the work space and operability. As a part of the integrated design system, a design automation system was also developed to generate surface point data for the outer hull, pressure hull, casing, and sail. The whole process was applied to the design of a submarine for verification.

  • In recent years, as the optical Communication systems are developed, the demands of essential parts such as splitter, coupler, WDM, and AWG filter are grow rapidly. The fabrication process for them is not, however, automatic. On that reason, the automation is needed for the grow of productivity. The optical alignment and attach ment is the core process in fabrication. In this paper, the 6-axis rotary stage for multi-channel optical alignment system is developed and the dynamic characteristic of this system is studied.

A Study on Real-time Control of Bead Height and Joint Tracking Using Laser Vision Sensor

  • There have been continuous efforts on automating welding processes. This automation process could be said to fall into two categories, weld seam tracking and weld quality evaluation. Recently, the attempts to achieve these two functions simultaneously are on the increase. For the study presented in this paper, a vision sensor is made, a vision system is constructed and using this, the 3 dimensional geometry of the bead is measured on-line. For the application as in welding, which is the characteristic of nonlinear process, a fuzzy controller is designed. And with this, an adaptive control system is proposed which acquires the bead height and the coordinates of the point on the bead along the horizontal fillet joint, performs seam tracking with those data, and also at the same time, controls the bead geometry to a uniform shape. A communication system, which enables the communication with the industrial robot, is designed to control the bead geometry and to track the weld seam. Experiments are made with varied offset angles from the pre-taught weld path, and they showed the adaptive system works favorable results.

  • 통신, 센서, 인공지능 등의 기술 발전으로 인해 스마트 팩토리 구축이 진행되고 있다. 스마트 팩토리는 기존의 자동화 공정에서 생산되는 데이터를 대상으로 기계 학습과 같은 지능화 기술을 활용해 효율적인 공정 제어를 목표로 한다. 스마트 팩토리로의 구축으로 인해 생산성이 높아지지만 비용도 높아진다. 따라서 소규모 업체들은 스마트 팩토리로 단계별 전환이 효율적이다. CNC 절단기 기반의 소규모 스마트 팩토리 구축을 위해서 본 논문에서는 기존 제조 장비의 데이터를 수집, 모니터링 및 제어할 수 있는 원격 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 원격 제어 시스템의 구조 및 설계와 효율적인 센싱 데이터 전송 방법 등을 제시하였다. 실현 가능성을 검증하기 위해 CNC 절단 장비를 대상으로 시스템을 구현하였고 기능을 검증하였다. 성능 평가를 위해 모니터링 웹 페이지 접속시간을 측정하였고, 구현된 시스템이 사용 가능한 수준이라는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study proposes a new approach to real time implimemtation of shape recognition technology of die casting and forging parts based on robot vision for smart factory. The proposed shape recognition and inspection technology for forging and die casting parts is very useful for manufacturing process automatiom and smart factory including external form's automatic inspection of machanical or electronic panrs for the precision verification. The reliabiblity of proposed technology Ihas been illustrated through experiments.

  • Generally the wafer is increased by 300mm. We are desired that the wafer is prevented from pollutions of metal contaminant on surface of wafer. We have to develop new wafer cleaning process of IC Manufacturing that can reduce DI water and chemical by removal of the wafer cleaning process step. Moreover, it is difficult to control temprature and density of chemical in spite of rapidly increasing automation of system. We design smart module controller for new generation of semiconductor wet station with intelligent algorithm using data that is taken by computer simulation for optimal system.
