  • A novel plug and play system for a mobile device has been proposed and demonstrated to provide an easy inter-operation between the mobile device and external modules. It supports an automatic installation and execution of the device drivers stored in the external modules into the mobile devices when the external module is connected to the mobile device. It also enables an automatic removal of the derivers when the external module is disconnected from the mobile device, which makes the user use the resource of the mobile devices more efficiently.

  • 산업현장에서 자동화시스템은 PLC(Program Logic Control)를 사용하여 시스템을 제어하고, 감지기에서 전달되는 정보로 시스템의 상태를 계측하고 생산성 향상을 위해 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 진단 모니터링시스템은 릴레이모듈, 원칩프로세서모듈 그리고 컴퓨터 모니터링시스템으로 구성된다. 보조계전기의 고장을 실시간으로 파악하여 고장 난 시스템을 수리하고, 정상 가동에 소요되는 시간을 최소화하여 생산성을 향상시키고자 한다.

A Model of Strawberry Pest Recognition using Artificial Intelligence Learning

  • In this study, we propose a big data set of strawberry pests collected directly for diagnosis model learning and an automatic pest diagnosis model architecture based on deep learning. First, a big data set related to strawberry pests, which did not exist anywhere before, was directly collected from the web. A total of more than 12,000 image data was directly collected and classified, and this data was used to train a deep learning model. Second, the deep-learning-based automatic pest diagnosis module is a module that classifies what kind of pest or disease corresponds to when a user inputs a desired picture. In particular, we propose a model architecture that can optimally classify pests based on a convolutional neural network among deep learning models. Through this, farmers can easily identify diseases and pests without professional knowledge, and can respond quickly accordingly.

방사성의약품 합성 프로세스 검증을 위한 네트워크 모델링 (Development of A Validation System For Automatic Radiopharmaceutical Synthesis Process Using Network Modeling)

  • The automatic radiopharmaceutical module consists of several 2-way valves, couple of syringes, gas supply unit, heating(cooling) unit and sensors to control the chemical reagents as well as to help the chemical reaction. In order to control the actuators of radiopharmaceutical module, the process is tabulated using spread sheet as like excel. Unlike the common program, a trivial error is too critical to allowed in the process because the error can lead to leak the radioactive reagent and to cause the synthesis equipment failure during synthesizing. Hence, the synthesis process has been validated using graphic simulation while the operator checks the whole process visually and undergoes trial and error. The verification of the synthesis process takes a long time and has a difficulty in finding the error. This study presents a methodology to verify the process algebraically while the radiopharmaceutical module is converted to the network model. The proposed method is validated using actual synthesis process.

  • 본 논문은 감마 곡선 최적화를 이용한 자동 LCD 감마 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 이러한 시스템은 평균 감마 요차와 감마 조정 시간을 줄이기 위해 모바일 LCD 구동 IC 내의 감마 조정 레지스터들을 자동적으로 제어한다. 제안된 감마 시스템은 측정 대상이 되는 모률 (MUT, LCD 모듈), 프로그램화된 개인용 컴퓨터, 휘도 측정용 멀티미디어 디스플레이 측정기 및 퍼스널 컴퓨터와 LCD 모듈간의 인터페이스용 제어 보드로 구성되어 있다. 창조 감마 곡선과의 6-점 프로그램 정합 기술을 이용하여 새로이 개발된 알고리즘을 제안한다. 개발된 알고리즘과 프로그램은 범용 LCD 모듈에 적용가능하다.

자동 음성 인식기를 위한 단채널 음질 향상 알고리즘의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of a Class of Single Channel Speech Enhancement Algorithms for Automatic Speech Recognition)

  • This paper analyzes the performance of various single channel speech enhancement algorithms when they are applied to automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems as a preprocessor. The functional modules of speech enhancement systems are first divided into four major modules such as a gain estimator, a noise power spectrum estimator, a priori signal to noise ratio (SNR) estimator, and a speech absence probability (SAP) estimator. We investigate the relationship between speech recognition accuracy and the roles of each module. Simulation results show that the Wiener filter outperforms other gain functions such as minimum mean square error-short time spectral amplitude (MMSE-STSA) and minimum mean square error-log spectral amplitude (MMSE-LSA) estimators when a perfect noise estimator is applied. When the performance of the noise estimator degrades, however, MMSE methods including the decision directed module to estimate a priori SNR and the SAP estimation module helps to improve the performance of the enhancement algorithm for speech recognition systems.

아라비안 숫자를 동반한 중의적 기호의 자동전사: 온점, 쌍점, 빗금을 중심으로 (Automatic Transcription of Three Ambiguous Symbols Used with Arabic Numerals: Period, Colon and Slash.)

  • In this paper, we have proposed Auto- TSS, an automatic transcription module of three ambiguous symbols-period (.), colon (:) and slash (/)--using their linguistic contexts. Few previous studies have discussed the problems of ambiguities in reading those symbols into Korean alphabetic letters in order to improve the current Korean TTS (Text-To-Speech) systems. We have classified 9 different reading formulae of the three symbols, analyzed their left and right contexts, and investigated selection rules and distributions between the symbols and their contexts. Based on these linguistic features, 30 stereotyped patterns, 53 rules and 5 heuristics determining the types of reading formulae are investigated for Auto-TSS. This module works modularly in 4 steps. The pilot test was conducted with three test suites, which contain respectively 6,979, 3,491 and 2,450 morpheme clusters containing at least one of three ambiguous symbols and Arabic numeral(s). Encouraging results of 94.3%, 93.0%, 94.2% accuracy were obtained for the test suites. Our next phases are to develop a guessing routine for unknown contexts of the union symbols by using statistical information; to refine the proper nouns and terminology detecting module; and to apply Auto-TSS on a larger scale.

실시간 방송 지연을 위한 DELAY 모듈의 설계 및 구현 (The Design and Implementation of DELAY Module for Real-Time Broadcast Delay)

  • Moving image sharing technology has developed various servers and programs for personal broadcasting. In this paper, we propose the method of transmitting the multiple moving image, including the output channel of external streaming server. It also implements and tests multiple real-time broadcast channel automatic transmission systems that assign multiple output channels to automatic output channels. As a result of the experiment, it is easy to allocate moving image to broadcast channels that are output through the external streaming server's output channels regardless of the size of the streaming server, enabling the management of efficient output channels at the time of transmission of multiple moving image. The moving image can be provided through streaming method regardless of the type of moving image from the moving image provider terminal, and the moving image transmission can be controlled in various ways, including adding and changing channels for which the moving image is sent, and sending delayed to the moving image.

The Development of the Automatic Discharge Acquisition & Management System (ADAMS) using Ubiquitous Technique

  • Accurate river discharge is the most important factor in managing river basins and for successfully maintaining total maximum daily loads in Korea. It is not easy to measure the discharge directly in large rivers owing to physical and environmental constraints, even after investing much time and money. Recently, to overcome these historical drawbacks in river discharge measurement, we have developed the Automatic Discharge Acquisition & Management System (ADAMS) that scans the river cross-section and measures each cell $(1m{\times}1m)$ velocity using HADCP. The hardware system is composed of an HADCP sensor and winch, as well as a PC and software system for the discharge calculation module and hardware control module. It is controlled remotely via the internet and uses the velocity-depth integration method and the velocity-contour method for calculating river discharges. The characteristics of ADAMS are a ubiquitously accessible system, featuring real time automatic discharge measurement, remote control via the internet. The results using ADAMS at the Jindong stage site show less than 5% uncertainty and are 4 times more efficient than the ADCP & Q-boat system. This system can be used to measure any large river, river mouth or tributary river affected by backwater, all of which have a very difficult measuring real time discharge. The next generation of ADAMS will feature an upgrade to increase portability and GPS integration.

영작문 자동평가를 위한 비속어 검출과 미등록어 분류 (Swear Word Detection and Unknown Word Classification for Automatic English Writing Assessment)

  • 본 논문에서는 중 고등 수준 단문형 영어 작문시험의 자동채점 시스템을 위한 사전 미등록어 분류기 구현에 대해 다룬다. 영어 자동채점 과정에서 발생하는 사전 미등록어의 유형을 정의하고 각 유형에 대한 검출 방법에 대해 논의하였다. 또한 영작문 답안에서 나타날 수 있는 비속어의 유형을 정의하고 검출 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 영작문 자동평가 시스템의 모듈로서 비속어 검출 기능이 포함된 미등록어 분류기를 구현하였다. 미등록어 분류와 비속어 검출 방법에 대한 성능을 실제 시험 데이터에 적용하여 그 성능을 평가하였다.
