자동검침 고객의 부하패턴을 이용한 일일 대표 부하패턴 생성 (Typical Daily Load Profile Generation using Load Profile of Automatic Meter Reading Customer)

  • Recently, distribution load analysis using AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) data is researched in electric utilities. Load analysis method based on AMR system generates the typical load profile using load data of AMR customers, estimates the load profile of non-AMR customers, and analyzes the peak load and load profile of the distribution circuits and sectors per every 15 minutes/hour/day/week/month. Typical load profile is generated by the algorithm calculating the average amount of power consumption of each groups having similar load patterns. Traditional customer clustering mechanism uses only contract type code as a key. This mechanism has low accuracy because many customers having same contract code have different load patterns. In this research, We propose a customer clustring mechanism using k-means algorithm with contract type code and AMR data.

LoRaWAN IoT 원격검침장치 개발 (Development of LoRaWAN IoT Automatic Meter Reading Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 무라타 전자의 LoRa RF 모듈을 이용한 LoRa 통신모듈을 설계하여 디지털미터기에 장착하는 구성과, 다수의 미터기 데이터를 DCU(Data Concentrate Unit)에서 정합하여 LoRaWAN 으로 네트워크를 구성하는 원격검침 네트워크 구성 방법을 제시한다. 개발된 시스템은 수요자의 구성에 따라 미터기를 직접 네트워크에 연결하거나 DCU로 정합하여 네트워크에 연결하도록 선택가능하게 함으로써 기존 시스템 보다 네트워크 구성에 있어서 용이하고 경제적으로 설치가능하다. 개발된 시스템은 디지털수도미터기를 예로하여 구성하였지만 전기, 수도, 가스, 온수 및 난방 등 타계량기의 계량값을 원격검침 하는데도 적용가능하다. 주요개발 내용은 디지털미터기, LoRa 모듈, DCU 설계, 구성 및 제작과 LoRaWAN 네트워크 연결, 미터 데이터를 서버로 전송하는 방법이며, 이들 요소들을 연계하여 시스템을 구성하고 실제 LoRaWAN 통신을 테스트하고 그 결과를 보여준다.

  • A study on Automatic Meter Reading and Load Control System used to Distribution Line Carrer has started since 1986, and the field trial system for AMR and LCS was installed to KEPCO on June, 1988.   • 본 연구에서는 동일한 구역 내에 있는 주택이나 아파트단지에 설치된 수도 계량기에 대해서 검침자가 검침 대상 수도 계량기를 지정할 경우 지정된 수도 계량기의 모든 검침 값을 자동으로 검침할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 현장에서 요금 산출까지도 가능한 특성을 갖는 원격통신시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 수도 계량기의 펄스 측정을 수행하는 감지기술, 최소 전력 소비, 온도 보정, 근거리 무선통신 기술, 단말기의 DB 관리와 무선 통신 기능을 효율적으로 제어하는 소프트웨어 기술 등을 적용하였고 이를 통하여 검침 관련 업무에 소요되는 시적, 물적, 인적자원을 최소화할 수 있다.

  • This paper has studied a remote AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) system using the power line and the telephone line as a communication media and the digital power meter. In the developed system, because we have used the power line and telephone, the facility is very easy and then its cost is not expensive. The system includes following elements: a digital power meter, an indoor communication system using a power line modem and a telephone line interface system for sending data to the utility company.

  • The AMR(automatic meter reading) system has been increasingly and widely used for its efficient and intelligent management, which is a technology that automatically collects consumption data from a water meter or energy metering device. The digital meter instead of the mechanical meter should be used in the system. Up to now, various types of sensor to measure the water flow rate have been used in the digital water meter, for example, reed switch, photo IR approximate sensor, ultrasonic sensor, electromagnetic sensor, etc. In this paper, a new sensing technology, where a variable capacitor and digital circuit were used for sensing the water flow rate, was proposed. The circuit was designed and verified by Pspice simulation. And a PCB board for the circuit was fabricated. After then, a prototype of digital water meter using a variable capacitor to measure the water flow rate was fabricated. The function tests of the fabricated digital water meter were performed, and it was found that the meter worked properly. Since the new technology has much better properties in terms of cost and power consumption compared to conventional technologies, it should be one of the major digital water meter technologies in the future.

But the core technology of multifunctional electronic meter implemented by programmable one-chip IC, which can be the right answer of ail the power industy's efforts is now still under development in the advanced countries. 전력선통신 기반 저압원격검침 시스템의 공간 정보를 활용한 지능형 배전망 지리정보시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Geographic Information System for an Intelligent Power Distribution Network with Location Informations of Power Line Communication-based Automatic Meter Reading System)

  • In this paper, geographic information system(GIS) for an intelligent power distribution network was implemented with location informations acquired from automatic meter reading system, where the location informations of power line communication(PLC) modems installed at customer side were collected at data concentration units(DCUs) of headend equipment via PLC and then were transmitted to front end processor server. By displaying the connection status of the power distribution network on GIS map, operation of advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) or management of power grid system could be performed intuitionally and in real time, because the configuration state of the power grid could be easily monitored. The feasibility of the proposed system was confirmed with the especially constructed laboratory-level test bed and the verification test of the system will be carried out for a real power distribution network.
