  • In this paper, build up of fan performance tester in KITECH was introduced. The fan tester was set up based on AMCA standards 210-99, ANSI/ASHRAE 51-1999 with maximum flowrate within $1000\;m^{3}/min$. Both of inlet and outlet chamber setup with multiple nozzles described in AMCA 210 were established. The development of fully automatic control and measurement system are described. With this system, the accuracy of fan performance test can be maintained through the various flowrate and the uncertainty can be reduced.

  • The automatic-driverless operation, a very important technique for metro railways, is necessary for achieving higher safety, greater reliability, and bigger transport capacity. To achieve these things, we have to build up the system design and tasting techniques for the railway system operation. These techniques are related to the onboard train control and communication systems which include TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System), ATO(automatic train Operation), ATC(Automatic train Control), and TWC(Train to wayside communication).   • Automatic Identification System used in ship communication is required for marine control way, including monitoring of vessel operation in coastal and exchanging of information for safety navigation between them. But, it uses a very high frequency band of approximately 160 MHz, and at the same time, due to the curvature of Earth, there is a limit to the communication distance. Several demonstrations were made successfully over satellite, but not much work has been done yet through cube-satellite which has low-orbit at 500 km altitude. Here, we demonstrate a reception test of AIS (automatic identification system) receiver for a cube-satellites using software-defined radio (SDR). We collected AIS data from ship at port of Busan, Korea, using R8202T2 SDR and established to transmit them using Adam-Pluto and Matlab Simulink. The process of weakening the signal strength to a satellite was constructed using attenuator. Through above process, we demonstrated whether AIS data was successfully received from the AIS payload.

  • This report is explained about test results of carbon dioxide extinguiching system components and pack-age type system (Kits) for automatic fire extinguishing system. A carbon dioxide system may be used to protect one or more hazards or hazards by menas of directional valves. Package system shall be installed to protect hazards within the limitations. The testing program was progressed by three items, external oppearance test, performance test and Total Flooding Fire Extinguishing System test. The object of this report is present the problem which apperar from the analysis of test results.

  • For the integration test in the current field of defense simulation, each actual equipment and simulator's logging information is automated. Although the event of the integrated test system is written in the test log, it is not automated, and relies on the operator's handwriting or file creation, resulting in ineffective aspects such as low-quality record content and repetition of the same content. In this study, we propose the automatic test report recording program that solves these problems. Automatic test report recording program uses framework-based technology to receive information from the test control computer and user to record a log of the test log. Automatic test report recording program allows the user to record the repeated test content in a stable manner. Additionally, even if the number of test operators is limited, the efficiency is improved so that we can fucus on the integration test.

  • DSPA311(Analog Subscriber Line Board Assembly) is offer the interface of between analog subscriber and TDX-100 exchange system. DSPA311 is belong ASI block, accommodate dial and MFC telephone subscriber of 32 channel, and voice signal designed for interface with TSW, and 2 and 4 wire loop impedance is 600 (ohm). DSPA311 is consist 4 channel daughter beard QSLM-10(Quad Subscriber Line Module-10) and perform BORSCHT and be possible A/U-law select and GAIN value control by data control of DSPA171(Device controller I). In this Paper, We described the function test program for the DSPA311 Board by using the HP3070CT combinational test system, and an unmanned automatic test system.

  • In recent years, ultrasonic technics has been widely applied to industrial fields and its application range has been expanded as a result of continuous research and development. This paper is concerned with development of post-processor program for ultrasonic test and two-axis automatic ultrasonic system for application of industrial fields. Test results of ultrasonic test post-processor program and two-axis auto- matic ultrasonic system have a good agreement with results of ultrasonic evaluation for defect detection in industrial fields. Therefore we think that the developed ultrasonic test post-processor program and two- axis automatic ultrasonic system in this work is very useful for application of industrial fields.

Development of Automatic Cruise System of Unmanned Boat for Surveying Water Depth in Reservoir Using GIS-GPS Technologies (GIS-GPS 기술을 이용한 저수지 수심측정 무인보트의 자율항법시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, an automatic cruise system of unmanned boat was developed for surveying water depth in reservoir using GIS (geographic information system)-GPS (global positioning system) Technologies. the automatic cruise system consisted of an automatic path generation program (APGP) and an automatic boat control program (ABCP). A grid processing method with $3{\times}3$ roving window in GIS function was used to develop the APGP. For development of the ABCP, GPS and its coordinate calculation technique were introduced. The developed system was tested to verify the applicability for a sample reservoir, Misan reservoir located on Ansan city of Kyunggi province. From the test results, this study found the APGP generated cruise path automatically according to input condition on grid size of 5 m, 10 m, and 20 m, as well as, the ABCP also tracked well the cruise paths with high position accuracy. Another verification result on surveying time for 20 ha of water area also showed that the new system could survey water depth of reservoir quickly, including very high quality of spatial resolution.

  • The purpose of interlocking system in railway is to prevent the route for a train being set up and its protecting signal cleared if there were already another, conflicting route set up and the protecting signal for that route cleared. Recently, conventional relays circuitry in industrial field is replaced to computer-based control systems according to the advance of computer and communication technology. Therefore, interlocking systems in railway field are rapidly changing from existing relay-based interlocking system to computer-based electronic ones that executes the vital interlocking logic to assure the safety train routes at trackside signaling equipment room using electronic circuits. So it is very important to verify the performance of developed electronic interlocking system by plentiful laboratory testing before actually application in the railway system. However the laboratory testing in the present state of railway signaling is preformed individually by manual, so very much test time and cost are required. To solve these problems, we are developed the simulator for automatic interlocking inspection in this research. This simulator is able to operate on general personal computer and has following beneficial functions : automatic test sheet generation for inspection, automatic inspection execution and et al. The experiments are executed to test the feasibility of the developed simulator the experimental results have good agreements with the anticipated ones.

Design of a Remotely-Controlled Robot System for Automatic Inspection and Repair of Steam Generator Hole in Nucuear Power Plant (원자로 스팀 제너레이터 홀의 수리 및 자동 검사를 위한 원격제어 로봇시스템 설계)

  • In this paper we propose a new approach to the development of the automatic vision system to examine and repair the steam generator tubes at remote distance. In nuclear power plants workers are reluctant of works in steam generator because of the high radiation environment and limited working space. It is strongly recommended that the examination and maintenance works be done by an automatic system for the protection of the operator from the radiation exposure. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time recognition and examination of steam generator tubes in the proposed vision system. Performance of proposed digital vision system is illustrated by simulation and experiment for similar steam generator moldel.
