A Systematic Design of Automatic Fuzzy Rule Generation for Dynamic System

  • We investigate a systematic design procedure of automatic rule generation of fuzzy logic based controllers for highly nonlinear dynamic systems such as an engine dynamic modle. By "automatic rule generation" we mean autonomous clustering or collection of such meaningful transitional relations from one conditional subspace to another. During the design procedure, we also consider optimaly control strategies such as minimum squared error, near minimum time, minimum energy or combined performance critiera. Fuzzy feedback control systems designed by our method have the properties of closed-loop stability, robustness under parameter variabitions, and a certain degree of optimality. Most of all, the main advantage of the proposed approach is that reliability can be potentially increased even if a large grain of uncertainty is involved within the control system under consideration. A numerical example is shown in which we apply our strategic fuzzy controller dwsign to a highly nonlinear model of engine idling speed control.d control.

  • A wind turbine system converts wind energy into electric energy, the system operated under normal environmental conditions. In case of particular turbulent wind flow such as typhoon, hurricane etc, the control of a blade used to a yaw control and a pitch control method. A small wind turbine has not a speed control system to only a manual tail safety brake. This paper shows a automatic tail safety brake controller based on feedback control using wind velocity. The controller composed of wired motor, relay system, steel wired motor him down a perpendicular to wind flow and then the blade speed reduced high to zero. The operation of automatic tail safety controller verified by manual test.

  • The paper presents the main results of computational and experimental optimization of the automatic power control system (AC) of the IBR-2M pulsed reactor in the presence of a high level of oscillatory instability. Optimization of the parameters of the AC made it possible to significantly reduce the influence of random and deterministic oscillations of reactivity on the noise of the pulse energy, as well as to sharply reduce the manifestation of the oscillatory instability of the reactor. As a result, the safety and reliability of operation of the reactor has increased substantially.

  • This study is an investigation for the ADS optimum design by using FEM. We write out program which express ADS perfectly and reduce the required time for correcting of model to the minimum in solution and manufacture result. We complete algorithm which can plan optimum forming of model by feedback error information in CAE. For that, we draw up ADS program which modeling rachet wheel by using visual LISP and telegraph to ANSYS, structural solution program, we can solve stress solution. Then we correct model by feedback date obtaining in solution process, repeat course following stress solution again and do modeling rachet wheel for optimum forming. That is our aim. As a result of experience, we can develope automatic design program using Visual LISP and exhibit ADS as modeling third dimension CAD for optimum design. Also, we develop optimum design algorithm using ADS and FEM. In rachet wheel, greatest equivalence stress originates in key groove comer and KS standard is proved the design for security.

해상 NB-IoT 서비스를 위한 ICS RF 중계기 (ICS RF Repeater for Marine NB-IoT Service)

  • 본 연구에서는 해양수산부가 2016년 실행 계획을 발표한 전자어구 실명제를 실현할 수 있는 어구 자동식별 모니터링 시스템에서 통신 거리를 늘릴 수 있는 해상 중계기 설계와 제작에 대해 보고한다. 해상 중계기는 중계기를 구성하는 서비스 안테나와 링크 안테나 사이의 되먹임 신호에 의한 발진을 제거할 수 있는 ICS (interference cancellation system) 방식의 RF 중계기로 설계 제작하였다. ICS RF 중계기 설계에 있어 링크 안테나와 서비스 안테나 간 이격을 30 dB 확보하였다. 시험을 통한 검증 결과 ICS RF 중계기의 출력 신호 일부가 입력으로 되먹임되는 신호 레벨이 중계기 이득보다 15 dB 이상 낮을 때 발진에 의해 발생하는 EVM(error vector magnitude)이 성능 기준인 6%보다 낮게 얻어지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 ICS RF 중계기를 어구 자동식별 모니터링 시스템 등의 해상 IoT 네트워크에 적용하면 서비스 영역이 늘어날 것으로 기대된다.

자동 IV 주사 유량 자동 제어 및 네트워크 모니터링 (Automatic Flow Control and Network Monitoring of IV Injection)

  • Intravenous (IV) injection is widely used to supply Ringer solution directly into a vein in hospital. Generally, a passive injection method has been used, which causes the inconsistent flow rate of fluid and inappropriate control of injection time by a patient. It leads to an unnecessary nurse's overwork and decrement of IV injection's effect. To solve these problems, flow control infusion pumps have been developed. But because of relatively heavy weight and high price, its usage has been limited. In the present study, a new automatic IV injection system is developed. It is installed with a small pressing mechanism driven by a small electric motor to regulate the flow rate by pressing tube. Proportional integral derivative (PID) feedback control algorithm is applied to control the electric motor. The system is smaller in size and uses lower power than the existing commercial product. The newly developed system is also installed with networking capability, which enables monitoring the status of several automatic IV injection system at the same time.

  • Controller refinement scheme to improve the performance of a conventional system automatically in frequency domain is proposed. The controller automatic tuning method features using experimental frequency responses of the conventional closed-loop system, the conventional controller, and the improved closed-loop system, instead of poorly modeled plant due to non-linearities and disturbances. The improved closed-loop system characteristics is automatically acquired by the con-ventional closed-loop system characteristics and the proposed performance index in system bandwidth. And the proper controller is realized by least squares approximation in frequency domain. To testify the usefulness of the approach, the path tracking control of robot arm is performed. Experimental results and analytic results are well-matched.

  • A Linear Pulse Motor (LPM) is a direct drive motor that has good performance in terms of accuracy, velocity and acceleration compared to the conventional rotating system with toothed belts and ball screws. However, since an LPM needs supporting devices which maintain constant air-gap and has strong nonlinearity caused by leakage magnetic flux, friction and cogging, etc., there are many difficulties in improvement on accuracy with conventional control theory. Moreover, when designing the position controller of LPM, the modeling error and load variations has not been considered. In order to compensate these components, the neural network with conventional feedback controller is introduced. This neural network of feedback error learning type changes the current commands to improve position accuracy. As a result of experiments, we observes that more accurate position control is possible compared to conventional controller.

  • Keeping a system in stable state is one of the important issues of control theory. The main goal of our basic research is stability of unmanned aerial vehicle (quadrotor). This type of system uses a variety of sensors to stabilize. In control theory and automatic control system to stabilize any system it is need to apply feedback control based on information from sensors. Our aim is to provide balance based on the 3D spatial information in real time. We used PID control method for stabilization of a seesaw balancing system and the article presents our experimental results. This paper presents the possibility of balancing of seesaw system based on feedback information from stereo vision system only.
