객체지향방식에 의한 자동화제조시스템 시뮬레이터의 설계 및 구현 (Development of a Simulator for Automated Manufacturing Systems)

  • We discuss development of a simulator for automated manufacturing systems (AMSs) which have sophisticated automated material handling equipments and complicated work flows. The simulator is designed to satisfy the following requirements. A user should be able to easily configure or specify an AMS through a graphical user interface (GUI) and minimal data input. The user should be able to model diverse and complied control logic for automated material handling systems like automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems, robot workcell systems and conveyor systems as well as complicated job flow program. Real time animation is desired. Finally, the simulator should be easily maintained and extended. To satisfy the requirements, we use an object-oriented paradigm for modeling, designing, and programming of the simulator. We use an object-oriented modeling framework to design the modeling elements library, and take the process interaction approach for scheduling processes and events. To model a user-defined diverse control logic, we also develop a script language and its interpreter. We explain design and implementation strategies. We implement the simulator using Visual C++ 4.2 and Open GL on Windows NT and the Windows95. Some modeling examples will be demonstrated.

  • This paper deals with design problem of unit load automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS). We propose an optimal design model in which the investment and maintenance costs of AS/RS, operating under dual command model is minimized over a time horizon satisfying the warehouse dimensional constraints. The model is formulated as an integer nonlinear program and an algorithm is proposed to find an optimum solution. The valididty of the solution algorithm is illustrated through an example.

  • A valid scenario generation is essential for model checking software. This paper suggests an automated scenario generation technique through the analysis of function called-by graphs and call graphs of the program source code. We provide the verification process including the scenario generation and show application results on the Trampoline operating system using CBMC as a back-end model checker.

  • A CAM program for forming design Automated of CAM for Spring using car was developed in this study. This program was written in AUTO-LISP on the AUTO-CAD system with a personal. An approach to the system is based on the kinemateic of the object function. We make a determination of an cam programming. A cam spline is continuous in displacement, velocity and acceleration. The best cam curve is obtained by changing the kinemateic of the object function. The result has improved all characteristics such as velocity, acceleration and displacement compared with that of the modified cycloid curve.

  • The design of sleeper in high-speed railway turnouts is complicated and time-consuming because the length and loading position of sleepers change continuously along the turnout line. It is, therefore, necessary to develop an automated design program which can design automatically the PSC sleepers in turnout region. In this study, a computer program for automatic design of turnout sleepers was developed based on graphic user-interface(GUI) environment. The structural analysis is performed considering the varying loading position of vehicular wheels. The sleepers are treated as located on elastic supports. The user can choose the desirable shape of sleepers before starting the detail design. The present study allows more realistic and automatic design of PSC sleepers in high-speed railway turnouts.

  • Modern manufacturing systems consist of highly automated manufacturing devices, and they are controlled by complicated PLC programs. To make sure the achievement of the control objectives of a manufacturing system, it is very important to monitor the dynamic system behaviors of the manufacturing system. In this paper, we propose a monitoring methodology of a PLC program based on the Software In the Loop Simulation(SILS), which makes use of the time gap information between PLC signals. The errors relevant with PLC signals can be found using the proposed methodology, comparing a normal PLC signal trajectory with a target PLC signal trajectory. The proposed methodology has been implemented and tested with simple examples.

벨로우즈 자동 모델링과 구조해석 (Automated Modeling and Structure Analysis of Bellows)

  • Pro-program function of Pro/E has been utilized to expedite the design process of bellows. Design parameters selected for bellows design are manipulated to obtain the shapes user specified. User-oriented function may automate the bellows design process and this function may enable to reduce the design time remarkably. Generated bellows solid model has been applied to study of design sensitivity and optimum design. Among the selected design parameters, thickness of bellows affects system response most. Control-ring installed bellows may reduce the stress and prove to be an effective element for heavy load. The finite element analysis results combined with 3D model generated by pro-program may provide the feasible design directions to the bellows designer.

  • This paper, realizes the design of the sequential controller of a reinforced warehousing-delivery and unmanned transportation system for automated warehouse system. The system is composed of ware housing delivery adn transportation system using two unmanned vehicles with hierachical structure. It is described by GRAFCET and realized by programmed logic with microprocessor. Being described by GRAFCET, the system is able to divide it into subsystems and to synchronize them. Defining the concept of program module, one can easily program the system with the microprocessor instruction language.

Integration of Computerized Feedback to Improve Interactive Use of Written Feedback in English Writing Class

  • How can an automated essay scoring (AES) program, which provides feedback for essays, be a formative tool for improving ESL writing? In spite of the increasing demands for English writing proficiency, English writing instruction has not been effective for teaching and learning because of a lack of timely and accurate feedback. In this context, AES as a possible solution has been gaining the attention of educators and scholars in ESL/EFL writing education because it can provide consistent and prompt feedback for student writers. This experimental study examined the impact of different types of feedback for a college ESL writing program using the Criterion AES system. The results reveal the positive impact of AES in a college-level ESL course and differences between the teacher's feedback and the AES feedback. The findings suggest that AES can be effectively integrated into ESL writing instruction as a formative assessment tool.

결핵균 자동염색기의 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of an Automated Stainer for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis)

  • 결핵을 진단하는 방법 중에서 신속하고 비교적 비용이 적게드는 방법은 객담을 통한 결핵균 도말 검사이다. 결핵균 도말 검사는 슬라이드에 도말한 환자의 객담을 가온 과정을 통해 고착시키고. acid-fast 염색방법을 통해 염색시킨 후 현미경으로 결핵균을 관찰하는 것이다. Acid-fast 염색방법은 크게 hot staining과 cold staining 방법 두 가지가 있으며, 우리나라에서는 염색 결과가 선명한 hot staining 방법인 Ziehl-Neelsen 방법을 주로 이용한다. 그러나, 기존의 결핵균 자동염색기는 가온 기능이 없어 환자의 객담을 슬라이드에 검사자가 고착을 시켜야 하고. 선명도도 낮은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 검사자의 인력 절감과 검사자 개인의 염색 능력에 따른 염색 정도의 변화를 줄이기 위해 가온이 가능한 결핵균 자동염색기를 개발하였다 개발된 염색기는 객담의 고착에서 염색 그리고 건조가지 전 과정이 자동으로 이루어진다. 염색 시간은 5개의 슬라이드를 고품질로 염색할 경우 21분이 소요되었다. 성능 평가를 위해 총 91개 객담을 대상으로 자동과 수동염색을 시행하여 일치율을 비교해 본 결과 75%로 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다 (P>0.05).
