다중 채널 융합 기법을 이용한 DTV 기반 수동형 레이다의 표적 인식 방법 (Target Recognition Method of DTV-Based Passive Radar Using Multi-Channel Combining Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 DTV(Digital Television) 기반의 수동형 레이다와 다중 채널 융합 기법을 이용한 항공기 표적 인식 방법을 제안하였다. DTV에서 송신되는 다수의 채널을 융합하여 표적인식에 필요한 해상도의 HRRP(High Resolution Range Profile)를 획득하였다. HRRP는 AR(Auto Regressive) 기법 또는 제로 패딩 기법을 이용하여 획득하였다. 획득한 HRRP로부터, 경사하강법을 이용한 CLEAN 기법을 통해 산란점을 추출한 후 특성벡터를 생성하였으며, 이를 신경망 구분기에 학습시켜 표적 인식을 수행하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 실제 국내에서 운용되고 있는 3개의 송신소(관악산, 용문산, 견월악)의 주파수 대역을 가정하고, 4종의 항공기 실스케일 3D 캐드 모델을 이용하여 제안된 방법과 각 송신소의 단일 채널 주파수를 이용하였을 때의 표적인식 성능을 비교하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 제안된 방법이 3개의 송신소 모두에서 각 송신소의 단일 채널 주파수를 이용하였을 때보다 높은 표적 인식 성능을 보였다.

  • The fighter pilot uses radar mounted on the fighter to obtain high-resolution SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images for a specific area of distance, and then the pilot visually classifies targets within the image. However, the target configuration captured in the SAR image is relatively small in size, and distortion of that type occurs depending on the depression angle, making it difficult for pilot to classify the type of target. Also, being present with various types of clutters, there should be errors in target classification and pilots should be even worse if tasks such as navigation and situational awareness are carried out simultaneously. In this paper, the concept of operation and functional structure of radar system for fighter jets were presented to transfer the SAR image target classification task of fighter pilots to radar system, and the method of target classification with high accuracy was studied using the CNN ensemble model to archive higher classification accuracy than single CNN model.

제한속도정보제공장치(SLIF)에 대한 한국 환경 평가 분석 (A study on Korea road conditions assessment for Speed Limit Information Function(SLIF))

  • Exceeding the speed limit during vehicle driving is a key factor in the severity of lots of road accidents, and SLIF(Speed Limit Information Function) application is in the initial phase in Korea. SLIF helps the drivers to observe a speed limit when they are driving by providing alert and informing the current limit speed information based on external data using camera and/or digital map, for that reason, environmental conditions could be causes of SLIF malfunctions. In this study, design adequacy analysis of SLIF in respect of false recognition as the Korea traffic environment has been performed. As tentative results, road conditions and structure of speed limit sign as well as system performance often caused misrecognition.

단안카메라를 활용한 ACC 시험평가 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of ACC Test Using Monocular Camera)

  • Currently, the second level of the six stages of self-driving technology, as defined by SAE, is commercialized, and the third level is preparing for commercialization. The purpose of ACC is to be evaluated as a system useful for preventing and preventing accidents by minimizing driver fatigue through longitudinal speed control and relative distance control of the vehicle. In this regard, for the study of safety assessment methods in the practical environment of ACC. Distance measurement method using monocular camera and data acquisition equipment such as DGPS are utilized. Based on the evaluation scenario considering the domestic road environment proposed by the preceding study, the relative distance obtained from equipment such as DPGS and the relative distance using a monocular camera in the actual test is verified by comparing and analyzing the safety assessment. The comparison by scenario results showed a minimum error rate of 3.83% in Scenario 1 and a maximum of 14.61% in Scenario 6. The cause of the maximum error is that the lane recognition is not accurate in the camera image and irregular operation conditions such as rushing in or exiting the surrounding area from the walkway. It is expected that safety evaluation using a monocular camera will be possible for other ADAS systems in the future.

전기제품의 프로그레시브 가공을 위한 통합적 CAD 시스템 (An Integrated CAD System for Progressive Working of Electronic Products)

  • This paper describes a research work of developing a computer-aided design of product with bending and piercing for progressive working. An approach to the CAD system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge fur the CAD system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with a personal computer and is composed of three main modules, which are input and shape treatment, flat pattern layout and strip layout module. Based on knowledge-based rules, the system is designed by considering several factors, such as radius and angle of bend, material and thickness of product, complexities of blank geometry and punch profile, bending sequence, and availability of press. Strip layout drawing automatically generated by piercing with punch profiles divided into for external area is simulated in 3-D graphic forms, including bending sequences for the product with piercing and bending. Results obtained using the modules enable the manufacturer of electronic products to be more efficient in this field.

  • 본 논문에서는, 무선 전력전송 방식을 이용한 이동로봇의 자동 충전 시스템을 개발한다. 기존 이동로봇의 자동 충전이 기구적 접촉에 의해 이루어졌던 것에 비해, 무선 전력전송을 이용한 충전 방법은 전자기 유도 방식에 의한 비접촉 충전시스템이다. 이 방식은 송수신 코일이 바른 위치에 정렬되어야만 효율적인 충전이 가능하다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 영상정보를 통해 충전시스템의 원형 송신 코일의 변형률을 인식하여, 효율적인 자동충전이 가능하도록 이동로봇의 자세를 제어한다.

타원형 디프 드로잉 트랜스퍼 금형의 공정설계 전문가 시스템(I) (An Expert System for the Process Planning of the Elliptical Deep Drawing Transfer Die)

  • A computer-aided process planning (CAPP) system for rotationally symmetric deep drawing products has been developed. The application for non-axisymmetric components, however, has not been reported yet. Therefore, this study investigates process sequence design in deep drawing process and constructs an expert system of process planning for non-axisymmetric motor frame products with elliptical shape. The system developed consists of four modules. The first one is recognition of shape module to recognize the products. The second one is a 3-D modeling module to calculate surface area for non-axisymmetric products. The third one is a blank design module that creates an oval-shaped blank with the identical surface area. The forth one is a process planning module based on production rules that play the best important role in an expert system for manufacturing. The production rules are generated and upgraded by interviewing with field engineers. The constructed system using AutoLISP language under the AutoCAD environment is baled on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's technology. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and engineer in this field.

한 차선 내 복수 차량이 존재하는 추돌 상황에서의 ADAS 차량의 차량 인식에 관한 연구 (Vehicle Recognition of ADAS Vehicle in Collision Situation with Multiple Vehicles in Single Lane)

  • In this study a safety evaluation method is presented for a ADAS vehicle to be tested in collision situation when multiple vehicles are present on a single lane. Test scenarios are developed based on Euro-NCAP assessment scenarios, accident database and related simulation results in previous works. An automated evaluation system that is called as the K-target mover is used for active safety evaluation experiments. The experiments are conducted with two types of tests. First, the rear-end collision tests with 25% and 50% overlap for the test vehicle and target vehicle are conducted with the two kinds of test vehicles. On the other hand, the rear-end collision tests which include multiple vehicles in a single lane with 25% and 50% overlaps, are also conducted. Experimental results show that the test vehicles with ADAS cannot recognize the collision situation sometimes in the developed test scenarios, even in the case that the test vehicle showed stable performance in the simple overlap scenarios.

반도체 리드 프레임 제조를 위한 프로그레시브 금형의 CAD/CAM 시스템 개발 (Development of Progressive Die CAD/CAM System for Manufacturing Lead Frame, Semiconductor)

  • This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of lead frame, semiconductor, with blanking operation which is very precise for progressive working. Approach to the system is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. This system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD using a personal computer and in I-DEAS Drafting Programming Language on the I-DEAS Master Series Drafting with Workstation, HP9000/715(64) and tool kit on the ESPRIT. Transference of data among AutoCAD, I-DEAS Master Series Drafting, and ESPRIT is accomplished by DXF(drawing exchange format) and IGES(initial graphics exchange specification) methods. This system is composed of six modules, which are input and shape treatment, production feasibility check, strip-layout, die-layout, modelling, and post-processor modules. The system can design process planning and Die design considering several factors and generate NC data automatically according to drawings of die-layout module. As forming process of high precision product and die design system using 2-D geometry recognition are integrated with technology of process planning, die design, and CAE analysis, standardization of die part in die design and process planning of high pression product for semiconductor lead frame is possible to set. Results carried out in each module will provide efficiencies to the designer and the manufacturer of lead frame, semiconductor.
