빅데이터로부터 추출된 주변 환경 컨텍스트를 반영한 딥러닝 기반 거리 안전도 점수 예측 모델 (A Deep Learning-based Streetscapes Safety Score Prediction Model using Environmental Context from Big Data)

  • Since the mitigation of fear of crime significantly enhances the consumptions in a city, studies focusing on urban safety analysis have received much attention as means of revitalizing the local economy. In addition, with the development of computer vision and machine learning technologies, efficient and automated analysis methods have been developed. Previous studies have used global features to predict the safety of cities, yet this method has limited ability in accurately predicting abstract information such as safety assessments. Therefore we used a Convolutional Context Neural Network (CCNN) that considered "context" as a decision criterion to accurately predict safety of cities. CCNN model is constructed by combining a stacked auto encoder with a fully connected network to find the context and use it in the CNN model to predict the score. We analyzed the RMSE and correlation of SVR, Alexnet, and Sharing models to compare with the performance of CCNN model. Our results indicate that our model has much better RMSE and Pearson/Spearman correlation coefficient.

차체 제작을 위한 레이저용접 마그네슘 TWB 판넬 (MAGNESIUM TWB PANEL WITH LASER WELDING FOR AUTO BODY ASSEMBLY)

  • Strip casted and rolled magnesium sheet is become exiting material for car manufacturer, due to its better formability and specific strength compare with conventional extruded sheet. TWB technology was attractive for car body designer, because it saves the weight of the car without strength loss. In this study, the laser welding performance of magnesium sheet was investigated for Mg TWB panel manufacturing. The material was strip casted and rolled magnesium alloy sheet contains 3 wt% Al and 1 wt% Zn (AZ31). Lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser of 2kW was used and its laser light was delivered by optical fiber of 0.6mm core diameter to material surface with focusing optics of 200mm focal length for TWB welding. The microstructure of weld bead was investigated to check internal defects such as inclusion, porosity and cracks. Also mechanical properties and formability were evaluated for press forming of car body. For the results, there was no crack but inclusion or porosity on weld at some conditions.The tensile strength of weld was over 95% of base metal. Inner and outer panel of engine hood were press formed and assembled at elevated temperature.

  • Forming more than two parts of sheet metal in a single stamping operation lowers production costs, reduces weight, and heightens dimensional accuracy. The tailored blank (TB) is a laser-welded or mash-seam-welded sheet metal with different thicknesses, different strengths, or different coatings. Recently, automotive manufacturers have been interested in tailored blanks because of their desire to improve the rigidity, weight reduction, crash durability, and cost savings. Therefore the application to auto-bodies has increased. However, as tailored blanks do not behave like un-welded blanks in press forming operations, stamping engineers no longer rely on conventional forming techniques. Field try-outs are very important manufacturing processes for an economic die-making. In the field try-outs, the rounded geometries of tool and the drawbead shape and size in die face are generally modified when the forming defects can not be removed by the adjustment of forming process parameters. In this study, the field try-outs of tailored door inner panel are introduced and evaluated. The behaviours of laser tailored blank associated with different thickness combinations in the forming process of door inner panel are described focusing on terms of experimental investigations on the formability.

어닐링 알고리즘을 이용한 CCD 카메라 초점 제어 (Focus Control for CCD Camera using Annealing Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 CCD 카메라에서 나오는 NTSC 신호를 분석하여 근거리에서 초점을 맞출 수 있도록 렌즈의 동작을 제어하는 방법을 제안한다. 카메라와 물체의 거리가 약 1미터 이하로 가까워지면 자동 초점 기능을 갖춘 카메라는 영상의 전체적인 초점보다는 가장 근접한 미세 부분을 기준으로 초점을 맞추어서 영상을 획득한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 어닐링 알고리즘을 이용하여 CCD 카메라 렌즈에 내장된 모터를 영상의 전체적인 신호에 따라 제어하여 근거리에서 처리대상에 가장 적합한 영상을 획득하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 CCD 카메라 초점 제어 기술은 눈의 홍채를 이용한 인식 시스템에서 사용될 목적으로 개발되었다.

Analysis of Low-Profile Piezoelectric Butterfly Linear Motor using 3D Laser Vibrometer

  • Piezoelectric linear motors have been widely studied for auto focusing devices of digital cameras and cellular phones due to their simple structure. In this paper, we confirmed that novel piezoelectric butterfly linear motor was fabricated and its dynamic properties were analyzed. The piezoelectric transducer (having size $9{\times}8{\times}1\;mm^3$) is composed of an elastic plate, which includes a tip for energy transfer and two fixing protrusions for fixture, and two piezoelectric ceramics. The butterfly linear motor has been designed and optimized using A TILA simulation program. The superposed motion is an elliptical vibration on the tip. The actual movement of the manufactured actuator was confirmed by a 3D laser dopier vibrometer and compared with the simulation results. The results of numerical study and experimental investigation will be used for the future optimization of the actuator and the realization of the advanced ultrasonic motor.

압축점화 가솔린기관의 성능 및 배기특성 (Performance and Emission Characteristics of Compression Ignition Gasoline Engine)

  • This work deals with a controlled auto-ignition (CAI) single cylinder gasoline engine, focusing on the extension of operating conditions. The fuel is injected indirectly into electrically heated inlet air flow. In order to keep a homogeneous air-fuel mixing, the fuel injector is water-cooled by a specially designed coolant passage. Investigated are the engine performance and emission characteristics under the wide range of operating conditions such as 32 to 63 in the air-fuel ratio, 1000 to 1800 rpm in the engine speed, and 150 to 18$0^{\circ}C$ in the inlet air temperature. The compression ignition gasoline engine can be achieved that the ultra lean-burn with self-ignition of gasoline fuel by heating inlet air. For example. the allowable lean limit of air-fuel ratio is extended until 63 at engine speed of 1000 rpm and inlet air temperature of 17$0^{\circ}C$. It can be achieved that the emission concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide had been significantly reduced by CAI combustion compared with conventional spark ignition engine.

디스크타입 초음파모터의 제작 및 특성평가 (The design and characteristics of disk-type ultrasonic motor)

  • In this paper, disk-type ultrasonic motor using a combination of radial and bending vibration modes is newly designed and fabricated. The characteristics of the test motor are also measured. By means of travelingelastic wave induced at the surface of circumference of the elastic disk, a steel bar in contact with the surface of circumference of elastic disk bonded onto the piezoelectric ceramic disks is driven inboth directions by changing the sine and cosine voltage inputs. The stator of the motor is composed of two sheets of piezoelectric ceramic disk to bond onto both surfaces of a elastic disk, respectively. As the results, the diameter of elastic body is increased, the resonant frequency is decreased. The resonant frequency of the stator is about 92 kHz, which is composed with piezoelectric ceramic disks of 28 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness, and an elastic body of 32 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness. A driving voltage of 20 Vpp produces 200 rpm with a torque of 1Nm and an efficiency of about 10 %.

나노 스테레오리소그래피 공정을 이용한 불투명 기판에서의 3차원 마이크로 형상 제작 방법에 관한 연구 (Direct Patterning of 3D Microstructures on an Opaque Substrate Using Nano-Stereolithography)

  • A nano-stereolithography is the direct patterning process with a nanoscale resolution using twophoton absorption induced by a femtosecond laser. However, in the majority of the works, the fabrication of 3D microstructures have been done only onto transparent glass due to the use of an oil immersion objective lens for achieving a high resolution. In this work, the coaxial illumination and the auto-focusing system are proposed for the direct patterning of nano-precision patterns on an opaque substrate such as a silicon wafer and a metal substrate. Through this work, 3D polymer structures and metallic patterns are fabricated on a silicon wafer using the developed process.

검출과 분류기능이 탑재된 실시간 지능형 PTZ카메라 (Real-Time PTZ Camera with Detection and Classification Functionalities)

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라 자체에서 움직임을 검출하고 분류된 객체를 추척할 수 있는 지능형 PTZ 카메라 시스템을 제안하였다. 추적하고자 하는 객체가 검출되면 분류하고, 객체의 움직임에 따라 PTZ 카메라가 실시간으로 추적한다. 검출을 위해 GMM을 사용하였고 검출성능을 높이기 위해 그림자 제거 기법을 적용하였다. 검출된 객체의 분류를 위해 Legendre 모멘트를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서는 카메라의 초점 조절을 사용하지않고 영상의 중심과 객체와의 방향, 거리, 속도 정보만을 이용하여 PTZ 카메라의 움직임을 제어하는 방법을 제안하였다. TI DM6446 Davinci를 이용하여 실시간으로 객체의 검출, 분류와 추적이 가능한 카메라 시스템을 구성하였다. 실험 결과 사람과 차량을 구분하고, 움직임의 속도가 빠른 차량에 대해서도 본 추적시스템은 안정적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

  • Dramatic increase of social concerns on the environments has led companies to take into account environmental issues in strategic decision-making. The strategic consideration on environmental management is essential to the modern companies. This study was initiated with a research purpose to explain the level and the characteristics of corporate environmental strategy through comparing the Hyundai, GM and Toyota Motor Company. The research method adopted by this research is a case analysis. The degree of environmental management strategy was evaluated in functional sectors or value chain including the production, research and development, procurement, logistic and recycling etc. Consequently, this study could find that Toyota is the most advanced company in the level of environmental management strategy. Also there are many differences among three companies in the level and degree of environmental management strategy. Hyundai and GM did not consider environmental management in foreign subsidiaries as much as Toyota. Motor Company. Also the study find out there are actual gaps between the rhetoric and reality in environmental management strategy in Hyundai Motor Co. All companies included in this study consider importantly ISO14001 as the tool to maintain the environmental management of their companies.
