Users' Adoption of a Convergent Service: A Case of Interactive TV-based Auction Service (T-auction)

  • This paper Introduces an electronic auction service to be provided on Interactive TV (T-auction). This converged service is expected to much enhance the quality of the service to current online auction users through vivid visualization and live Interactive experience. Our study focuses on how the characteristics of the interactive TV-based shopping platform can affect users' attitudes towards the converged service. To develop our proposed research model, we extended the technology acceptance model and integrated it with a hedonic factor, or perceived enjoyment to reflect the dual characteristics of the converged system. We also adopted the variable of intermediary trust In the service as a critical mediating determinant for a successful commutations-mediated commerce. The research model was verified with an empirical study conducted on 970 Korean online auction users. Results show that both trust and perceived usefulness positively affect user adoption of the service. Trust had not only a direct effect on users' attitudes toward T-auction but also an indirect one by mediating the service quality, information quality, perceived enjoyment and ease of use. Meanwhile, the hedonic factor of T-auction contributes to increasing both the level of the intermediary's trust and its perceived usefulness. Users' enjoyment also was found to help form a positive attitude toward T-auction services. Theoretical and practical implications of this study for current e-auction service providers and potential t-auction service providers are also discussed.

NextAuction: A DID-based Robust Auction Service for Digital Contents

  • 본 논문에서는 개인의 콘텐츠에 대한 소유권을 DID 기술을 사용하여 신뢰성 있게 거래할 수 있는 차세대 NFT 경매 서비스인 NextAuction을 제시한다. 최근 소유권이 거래될 수 있는 자산의 종류와 규모가 확대됨에 따라 NFT 거래의 규모도 커지면서 이와 함께 상당수의 거래소가 운영되고 있다. 그러나 현재 NFT 거래소들의 사용자 인증 방식은 연결된 블록체인 지갑을 통해서만 이루어진다. NFT 거래를 통한 소유권 이전은 더욱 신뢰할 수 있는 신원 검증 서비스를 기반으로 투명한 소유권 관리가 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다. NextAuction은 클레이튼 블록체인을 활용한 DID 기법을 기반으로 경매 서비스의 사용자들에 대한 신원 인증을 투명하고 일관성 있게 제공하여 경매 서비스 참여자에 대한 신뢰성을 높인다. 또한, 개별 콘텐츠의 경매 진행 중 발생 될 수 있는 서버의 실패상황에 대비하여, 서비스 복제를 통하여 일관성 있는 서비스를 끊임없이 제공하는 BR2K 기법을 활용한 견고한 경매 서비스를 사용자에게 제공한다. NextAuction 서비스는 블록체인 기반의 콘텐츠 관리 서비스인 BCON을 확장하여 개별 콘텐츠에 NFT를 발행하고, DID를 통한 안전하고 신뢰성 있는 NFT 경매를 제공하도록 개발되었으며 옥션 매니지먼트 컨트랙트, NFT 매니지먼트 컨트랙트 및 옥션 서버와 옥션 사용자 인터페이스로 구성된다.

웹 경매사이트의 거래보호 서비스가 고객만족에 미치는 영향 (The Study on How much protected buying and selling service on Auction website affects to the customers' satisfaction)

  • This study is analyzed how much protected buying and selling service on Auction site affects to the customers' satisfaction. According to the results of it, First, considering that the aspects of the reliability of the Auction site, trade factor affects to the reliability of Auction website. Second, it shows the organized security of the site affects to the reliability. and it could be explained the escrow service has brought the customers to get the reliability of Auction website. Third, the execution of purchasing contract on website affects to the customers' satisfaction. and it makes customers confirm and rely on Auction. For example, carrying out of the escrow service, enhancement of the system for the policies for the buying protection of customers, and various concerns and efforts for the execution of the purchasing contract and so on affect to the customers' satisfaction.

An Investigation on the Impact of Website Contents on Internet Auction Success

  • This study investigates the impact of website contents on Internet auction success. Based on the marketing concepts of stimuli, consumer behavior, and product involvement, the research model presents the theoretical relationships between the key factors of website contents and Internet auction performance. This study examines particularly four dimensions of website contents including transaction features, auction-specific features, seller's reputation, and information quality, which are deemed to have significant impact on the Internet auction performance, Each dimension of website contents is hypothesized to have a unique impact on a bidder's decision-making, which may vary depending on the bidder's level of involvement in the product. While transaction and auction-specific features serve as necessary components for successful auctions, a seller's reputation and information quality, as parts of satisfactory requirements, acutely affect bidders' decisions, especially those with high involvement to buy the product through a particular auction site. The outcomes of the analysis, in general, support the proposed model. The study results also provide meaningful Implications on ways in which auction websites can be improved for both sellers and auction service providers.

  • Along with the rapid emergence of the Internet and e-commerce, online auctions are hitting the spotlights. The inconveniences found in off-line auctions, such as time and place restriction and limited number of items, are solved in the online auction. However, not so many auction sites have integrated auction information systems, which monitor the present status of auctions, resulting in greater inconvenience for the online auction users. Moreover, there is no auction site that suggests the appropriate starting or closing price that is useful for users when they make, their bids, What the online auction users need is an auction system that can solve such problems. This study is purported for solving the problems by designing and implementing a real time auction system that applies the comparison search functions and the agent functions. In other words, an integrated database system using a bidder-oriented agent for providing information is built so that the users can search and compare the information on the item they are interested in and make a faster and more accurate purchase. Also the appropriate starting and closing prices are offered to the sellers and bidders through the integrated system for a closer and more accurate comparison and analysis of the prices. For future work, the product recommendation service, which accurately reflects the bidding patterns, and the methods for studying the multi bidding pattern will be applied to the suggested system to realize a real time auction information system that supports CRM(Customer Relationship Management) .

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 분산 병렬 컴퓨팅의 일종으로 IT 자원을 가상화 하고 이를 사용자에게 제공한다. 그러나 사용자의 서비스 요청은 시간적 규칙성이 없으며, 이런 이유로 각 자원들은 가용성의 차이를 갖는다. 가용성의 차이는 클라우드 서비스 이용자의 QoS만족도 및 서비스 제공자 선택에 영향을 주게 된다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 환경에서의 서비스 이용자의 요구에 따라 가상화된 IT자원 제공자의 효율적 선정을 위한 자원 가용성 기반 다중 경매 모델을 이용한 서비스 예약형 클라우드 자원거래 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 서비스 이용자의 서비스 요청 발생 시 두 번의 경매 모델을 사용하는 다중경매모델이며, 다중 경매 과정 중 단일 경매 단계에서 자원 가용성 평가 알고리즘 및 가변 큐를 이용한 서비스 예약방식을 적용하여 서비스 제공자의 자원 가용성을 평가하여 최적의 서비스 제공 자원을 찾는다. 제안모델은 QoS만족도 부분에서 앞서 작용한 자원 가용성 평가 알고리즘으로 인해 높은 성능을 보여주며, 작업 처리 시간활용도 면에서 QoS를 모두 고려한 상태로 안정적으로 더 많은 작업을 처리 할 수 있음을 입증하였다.

소피부사상균이 한우 송아지 경매가격에 미치는 영향 (The effect of bovine dermatophytosis on auction price in Hanwoo calves)

  • This study examined the dermatophytes of calves aged between 6 and 12 months in the Hanwoo calf auction market. Moreover, the research analyzed how dermatophytosis affected the auction price of Hanwoo calves based on their sex and age. The incidence rate of dermatophytosis was found to be 85 cases out of 1,955 calves (4.3%). The major location of dermatophytosis lesions were in the head region. Specifically, the highest prevalence was observed in the forehead (42.4%), followed by the eyes (30.1%), and the ears (18.8%). The auction prices of Hanwoo calves were observed that the average price for normal calves was 2,936,428 won, while calves with dermatophytosis were sold at 2,767,059 won. Comparing auction prices according to gender and age, it was observed that male calves and calves aged between 8 and 12 months had significantly lower auction prices compared to normal calves. The results provided valuable insights into the current situation of dermatophytosis in Hanwoo calves. Moreover, analyzing the impact of dermatophytosis on the auction prices of these calves, it has generated essential data that can serve as a foundation for implementing and enhancing ongoing management and prevention measures for dermatophytosis in cattle.

사례 연구를 통한 B2C 역경매 사업 모델의 성공 요인 분석 (A Case Study on the Success Factors of B2C Reverse Auction Business Model)

  • The purpose of the study is to derive success factors of B2C reverse auction business model, a business model contributes to the recent innovative practices in e-commerce and service sector. Electronic reverse auction has been traditionally used to ensure the procurement convenience and purchasing efficiency in B2B or B2G settings, however, e-RA is now expanding its basis toward B2C commerce industry along the huge success of an online e-RA travel service provider Priceline.com. Recently, B2C e-RA business model is getting the spotlight in the Korean venture industry with a variety of startups in diverse areas. However, e-RA does not work perfect in all kinds of trade settings. Therefore, we conducted a multiple case study to find out the success factors of B2C business model as follows : First, large supplier basis is an important factor that constructs a quasi-perfect competition environment. Second, the high online and mobile accessibility or e-readiness of Korean consumers was also a critical aspect of the success of e-RA. Lastly, e-RA performs best when the supplier switching cost is low and the trading occurs infrequently.

  • 수요자의 필요에 즉각 대응하여 제품 및 서비스를 제공하는 온디맨드 경제(On-Demand Economy)에서는 수요자가 가격 결정에 상당한 영향력을 가진다. 여행 관련 분야에서도, 서비스 제공자가 수요자의 요구를 반영하고, 더 나은 서비스를 제공하기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 판매자가 일방적으로 가격을 결정하는 다수의 여행 관련 서비스 플랫폼과는 달리, 수요자가 여행 관련 서비스 및 가격을 제안하는 역경매 기반의 서비스 플랫폼 방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 매칭 서비스 플랫폼은 다양한 수요자의 요구를 분석하고, 수집된 경험 데이터를 반영하여, 기존의 정형화된 여행 관련 서비스와 차별화된 양방향 서비스 창출이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Research and development of grid computing ware mainly focused on high performance computing field such as large-scale computing operation. Many companies and organizations concentrated on existing computational grid. However, service grid focusing on enterprise environments has been noticed gradually. Grid service providers of service grid construct diverse and specialized services and provide service resources that have economic feasibility to grid users. But, service resources are geographically dispersed and divided into many classes and have individual owners and management policies. In order to utilize and allocate resources effectively, service grid needs a resource management model that handles and manages heterogeneous resources of service grid. Therefore, this paper presents the third party grid service marketplace model using virtualization to solve problems of grid service resource management. Also, this paper proposes resource dealing mechanism and pricing algorithms applicable for service grid. Empirical results show usefulness and efficiency of the third party grid service marketplace model in comparison with typical economic models for grid resource management such as single auction model and double auction model.
