  • Classification and Coding(C&C) systems as a core of design information management have been accomplished by many studies in terms of design and manufacturing attribute based on Group Technology. Those are very difficult to apply in make-to-order(MTO) manufacturing because the environment of MTO has various characteristics of product, many licensors, engineering change, insufficiency of integrated management system for codes and so on. This paper presents a suitable C&C system to MTO manufacturing which consider management level and drawing. The steps of developing the C&C system are as follows: 1) analysis of existing coding system and drawing type; 2) design of C&C system; 3) practice of designed coding system to a field.

  • In this paper, we propose a new blockchain technology that could comply with GDPR. The proposed model can prevent illegal access by controlling access to the personal information according to a access policy. For example, it can control access to the information on a role-basis and information validation period. The core mechanism of the proposed model is to encrypt the personal information with public key which is associated with users attributes policy, and then decrypt it with a private key and users attributes based on a Attribute-based Encryption scheme. It can reduce a trusted third-part risk by replacing it with a number of nodes selected from the blockchain. And also the private key is generated in the form of one-time token to improve key management efficiency. We proved the feasibility by simulating the proposed model using the chaincode of the Hyperledger Fabric and evaluate the security.

  • Since traditional static metadata set like Dublin Core has static metadata attributes about bibliography information, integration of metadata for various metadata, problems about standard and extension of metadata must be considered for applying it to new environment. Specially, as event-driven metadata write method included the notion of e-commerce come out for interoperability in digital libraries, traditional metadata management which cannot distinguish between different kinds of update operations to new extension of metadata set occurs unsuitable waiting of update operation. So, improvement is needed about it. In this paper, we show whether alleviative transaction consistency can be applied to digital library or not. Also it would divide newer metadata into static metadata attribute connected in read operation within user read-only transaction and dynamic metadata attribute in update operation within dynamic(e-commerce) update transactions. We propose newer metadata management algorithm considered in classfication of metadata attributes and dynamic update transaction. Using two version for minimal maintenance cost and ARU(Appended Refresh Unit) for dynamic update transaction, to minimize conflict between read and write operations shows fast response time and high recency ratio. As a result of the performance evaluation, we show our algorithm is proved to be better than other algorithms in newer metadata environments.

  • We cannot load the entire data for high-resolution terrain model to the GPU memory since its size is too big. Out-of-core approaches are commonly used to solve the problem. However, due to limited bandwidth of the secondary storage, it is difficult to render the terrain in real-time. A method that compresses the DEM data with wavelet transform on GPU, and renders the decoded data is suggested. However, it is inefficient since it has to sample the values from textures, convert them to vertices, and generate a mesh periodically. We propose a method to store the approximation coefficients of wavelet compression as vertex attributes and render the terrain by decoding the data on geometric shader. It can reduce the amount of transferring terrain texture since approximation coefficients are given as an attribute of the vertex. Also, it generate meshes without additional upload of terrain texture.

  • This study intended arousal of other viewpoints that deal with and understand spaces and shapes, by describing the concept of 'dimensions' into visual patterns. Above all, the core concept of spatial dimensions was defined as 'expandability'. Then, first, the 'golden ratio', 'Fibonacci sequence', and 'fractal theory' were defined as elements of each dimension by stage. Second, a 'unit cell' of one dimension as 'minimum unit particles' was set. Next, Fibonacci sequence was set as an extended concept into two dimensions. Expansion into three dimensions was applied to the concept of 'self-similarity repetition' of 'Fractal'. In 'fractal dimension', the concept of 'regularity of irregularity' was set as a core attribute. Plus, Platonic solids were applied as a background concept of the setting of the 'unit cell' from the viewpoint of 'minimum unit particles'. Third, while 'characteristic patterns' which are shown in the courses of 'expansion' of each dimension were embodied for the visual expression forms of dimensions, expansion forms of dimensions are based on the premise of volume, directional nature, and concept of axes. Expressed shapes of each dimension are shown into visually diverse patterns and unexpected formative aspects, along with the expression of relative blank spaces originated from dualism. On the basis of these results, the 'unit cell' that is set as a concept of theoretical factor can be defined as a minimum factor of a basic algorism caused by other purpose. In here, by applying diverse pattern types, the fact that meaning spaces, shapes, and dimensions can be extracted was suggested.

  • Both On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAF) data cubes and Statistical Databases (SDBs) deal with multidimensional data sets. and both are concerned with statistical summarizations over the dimensions of the data sets. However, there is a distinction between the two that can be made. While SDBs are usually derived from other base data, OLAF data cubes often represent directly the base data. In other word, the base data of SDBs are the macro-data, whereas the core cubiod data in OLAF data cubes are the micro-data. The base table in OLAF is used to populate the data cube with values of the measure attribute, and each record in the base tables is used to populate a cell of the core cuboid. The fact that OLAF data cubes mostly represent the micro-data may make some records be absent in the base table. Some cells of the core cuboid remain empty, if corresponding records are absent in the base table. Wang and others proposed a method for securing OLAF data cubes against privacy breaches. They assert that the proposed method does not depend on specific types of aggregation functions. In this paper, however, it is found that their assertion on aggregate functions is wrong whenever any cell of the core cuboid remains empty. The objective of this study is to design an inference control process in OLAF data cubes which rectifying Wang's error.

  • South Korea became the country where there is the most plastic surgery per person in the world. Plastic surgery already has been the core part in the beauty industry. Therefore, in order to understand the beauty industry, we studied the characteristics of the plastic surgery's websites. From 2006 to 2011, we researched total number of 407 plastic surgery websites including, 166 the most visited plastic surgery websites, 241 comparing of bench mark websites. The collected data was analyzed by using the method of Multiple Discriminant Analysis(MDA). As a result of the research, firstly, the most visited plastic surgery websites were not a contents provider but a community website, secondly, well organized and actively adaptable of the rapid changes from environment. In addition, there were also competitiveness to become the most visited plastic surgery website and by the possibilities, the relatively large size of plastic surgery had high probability to own the most visited website. This research paper is looking forward to be used as the understanding the e-business of the plastic surgery.

  • Current sensors that use a Hall element and Hall IC to measure the magnetic fields generated in steel silicon core gaps do not distinguish between direct and alternating currents. Thus, they are primarily used to measure direct current (DC) in industrial equipment. Although such sensors can measure the DC when installed in expensive equipment, ascertaining problems becomes difficult if the equipment is set up in an unexposed space. The control box is only opened during scheduled maintenance or when anomalies occur. Therefore, in this paper, a method is proposed for facilitating the safety management and maintenance of equipment when necessary, instead of waiting for anomalies or scheduled maintenance. A Bluetooth 4.0 low-energy current-sensor system based on near-field communication is used, which compensates for the nonlinearity of the current-sensor output signal using a piecewise linear model. The sensor is controlled using its generic attribute profile. Sensor nodes and cell phones used to check the signals obtained from the sensor at 50-A input currents showed an accuracy of ±1%, exhibiting linearity in all communications within the range of 0 to 50 A, with a stable output voltage for each communication segment.

  • Schema matching is widely used in many applications, such as data integration, ontology merging, data warehouse and dataspaces. In this paper, we propose a novel matching technique that is based on the order of attributes appearing in the schema structure of query results. The appearance order embodies the extent of the importance of an attribute for the user examining the query results. The core idea of our approach is to collect statistics about the appearance order of attributes from the query logs, to find correspondences between attributes in the schemas to be matched. As a first step, we employ a matrix to structure the statistics around the appearance order of attributes. Then, two scoring functions are considered to measure the similarity of the collected statistics. Finally, a traditional algorithm is employed to find the mapping with the highest score. Furthermore, our approach can be seen as a complementary member to the family of the existing matchers, and can also be combined with them to obtain more accurate results. We validate our approach with an experimental study, the results of which demonstrate that our approach is effective, and has good performance.
