PET fabrics were cationized via photografting under continuous UV irradiation with a cationic monomer. The grafted PET was dyed with three acid dyes. Effect of dye concentration, dyeing time, temperature and pH on acidic dyeing of the cationized PET fabrics was assessed to find optimal dyeing condition. The cationized fabrics was successfully dyed at $75^{\circ}C$ under pH 5.5. However the dyeing sites of the grafted fabrics were nearly occupied above 5%owf dye concentration and the rapid exhaustion of the anionic dyes was observed. The dyeability of the cationized PET fabrics was increased proportionally with increasing percent grafting because of the introduction of ionic attraction between quaternary ammonium groups and acid dyes. Lower dyeability both at alkaline and pH 3 condition attributed to negative zeta potentials of the grafted fabrics and the reduced charge of the acid dyes respectively.

The attraction force is an important parameter for permanent-magnet(PM) linear machines. This paper aims to analysis lumped magnetic circuit model of a magnetic levitation system. It accounts for the fringing effect and leakage flux which may greatly affect the accuracy of the analytical model for the optimal lumped magnetic circuit model. consequentially it will be able to apply to prospective permanent-magnet(PM) linear machines for accurate analysis.

This paper describes the fabrication method for atomic force microscopy(AFM) tip with multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWNT). For making a carbon nanotube (CNT) modified tips, AC electric field which cause the dielectrophoresis was used for alignment and deposition of CNTs in this research. By dropping the MWNT solution and applying an electric field between an AFM tip and an electrode, MWNTs which were dispersed into a diluted solution were directly assembled onto the apex of the AFM tips due to the attraction by the dielectrophoretic force. In this case, we investigate the effect of the angle between a tip axis and an electrode. Experimental setup were presented, and then CNT attached AFM tips are successfully shown in this paper.

Recently, the attraction for water-based ink is increasing, Because Solvent ink, based on organic solvent, cause bad effect on environment and rise the cost. Instead of organic solvent that cause environment pollution as well as cost-rise by rise of petroleum price, Binder based on alkali-soluble resin is popular and studied by many other country. However, in domestic, research and development for alkali-soluble resin is not like, because of lack of understanding environmental pollution and safety, therefor alkali-soluble resin development and research for the properties of the water-based ink used by alkali-soluble resin is not study very well. In this paper, we studied dispersion of carbon black in acrylic resin solution and the properties of water-based ink used by carbon black and acrylic binder.

현재의 게임은 단순한 공학적 산물의 개념을 뛰어넘어 디지털화된 오락문화요 생활문화로 인식되고 있다. 이에 인간의 개인적, 사회적 욕망과 욕구에 대한 정확한 분석은 게임을 디자인하는데 있어서 좀 더 과학적인 근간을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다. 인간의 근원적인 욕망과 그에 대한 보상을 위한 활동에 대한 연구는 이미 오래전부터 심리학자들을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 이를 바탕으로 플레이어가 게임에서 얻고자하는 바와 그에 대한 보상에 대하여 연구하였다.

This paper presents a new energy function reflecting the damping effect in multi-machine power systems. The Lyapunov direct method provides precise and rigorous theoretical backgrounds for stability analysis of nonlinear systems. Incorporating damping effects into accurate estimates of the domain of attraction, which is a minor but crucial point, has been attempted with long history to yield partial success for single machine systems. In this paper, the damping-reflected energy function presented in the previous work has been generalized for application to multi-machine systems. The generalized energy function is tested for the WSCC 9-bus system to show the semi-negativeness of its time derivative.

Recently, Development of Rare Earth Permanent magnet with the high remanence, high coercivity allow the design of brushless motors with very high efficiency over a wide speed range. Cogging torque is produced in a permanent magnet by magnetic attraction between the rotor mounted permanent magnet and the stator teeth. It is an undesired effect that contributes to the machines output ripple, vibration, and noise. This cogging torque can be reduced by variation of magnet arc length, airgap length, magnet thickness, shifting the magnetic pole and varying the radial shoe depth and etc. In this paper, Some airgap length and magnet arc that reduce cogging torque are found by FEM(Finite element method). The SPM type of high-capacity BLDC motor is optimized as a sample model.

Subsurface temperature is affected by heat advection due to groundwater advection. Temperature-depth profile can be perturbed especially when there are significant vertical groundwater flux caused by external force such as injection or extraction. This research is to clarify the change of subsurface temperature distribution when the 40m x l0m sandy aquifer is stimulated by two different vertical flux($case1:\;{\pm}10^{-5}m^3/s,\;case2:\;{\pm}4{\times}10^{-5}m^3/s$) using a program called HydroGeoSphere. The resulting temperature distribution contour map shows pumping causes vertical attraction of water from deeper and warmer place which result in rising up isotherm. Additionally more injection/extraction rate, more vertical groundwater flux leads to faster Increase in temperature near the pumping well.

The dye-resist effect and leveling properties of hetero-mulifunctional dye-resist agents in acid dyeing of wool were investigated. The dye-resist agent with dichlorotriazinyl group achieved better resist effectiveness than those with monochlo-rotriazinyl group. The resist effectiveness was improved by increasing the number of sulfonate group in dye-resist agents. Also, the resist agents with more sulfonate groups showed better dye-assist effectivness, attributable to the increased electrostatic attraction between dye-resist agents and the cationic dye. However, the leveling properties of dye-resist agents decreased with the number of sulfonate groups in the molecule.
