Since the introduction of the Foreign Patient Assistance Law in 2009, more than 300,000 foreign patients are visiting Korea each year due to the efforts of overseas patient attraction organizations, host companies and governments. Despite these achievements, however, the company is confronted with limitations in product development and the rate of patient population growth is slowing. Therefore, this study suggests the importance and meaning of various product development through the hierarchical analysis (AHP) on the major factors of product development of medical tourism services, and suggests direction of product development in domestic medical tourism industry in the future.

TV-Drama Location sets as a potential magnet for tourism have been a popular subject during the past years. A large number of provincial governments have been trying to attract location sets to their region for this cause. But so far the drama sets, once they lost the heat of the initial exposure, have not been used continuously and thus result in waste of province budget. Systematic approach to the utilization and effective application is needed. On the basis of analyzing the issues and problems of existing TV drama sets, this study explores possibilities of development in the case of "Into the storm" drama set, locationed at Jukbyun, Uljin-gun. Through SWOT analysis, feasibility analysis, the study proposes sustainable scheme that accommodates potential for future drama, tourist attraction and functions for local residents.

Attracting advanced foreign enterprises into the less-developed regions has gained increasing importance as a regional development strategy in Korea. This study critically examines the foreign-direct investment-led regional development strategy of Wales, United Kingdom. Despite a high FDI inflow in manufacturing, the Welsh regional economy has suffered from specialization in low-skilled assembly with limited R&D activities, insufficient linkage with local domestic suppliers, and violent fluctuation in local employment in response to changes within the global business environment. This tendency shows that the foreign-invested companies have neither locally embedded themselves enough nor created the external agglomeration economies in the region. At the same time, the Welsh local government's excessive dependence on financial incentives packages to induce multinationals, rather than effort to create regional innovative capacity, has resulted in a sizable fiscal loss, an abused local planning process, and subordination of the local government's major administrative decision-making on foreign investors. The Welsh FDI case suggests that an effective FDI attraction policy should include inter-regional cooperation and coordination in the inward investment attraction procedure, a comprehensive land use planning process, and state-level concrete governance on FDI.

Estimation of trip distribution, estimated O-D matrix must satisfy the condition that the sum of trips in a row should equal the trip production, and the sum of trips in a column should equal the trip attraction. In most cases the iterative calculation for convergence is needed to satisfy this condition. Most of all present convergence of iterative methods may results a big difference between estimated value and converged value, and from this, the trip distribution patterns may be changed. This paper presents a new convergence of iterative method that comes closer to meeting the convergence condition and gives the maximum likelihood estimation for calculating a distribution patterns from the trip distribution estimation model. The newly developed method differs from existing methods in three important ways. First, it simultaneously considers both the convergence condition and the distribution patterns. Second, it computers simultaneous convergence of rows and columns instead of iterating respectively. Third, instead of using the growth rates to the trip production, trip attraction, it uses the differences between trip production and sum of trips in a row, and trip attraction and sum of trips in a column. Using 38 by 38 O-D matrix, this paper compared the Fratar method and the Furness method to the newly developed method and found that this method was superior to the other two methods.

This study tried to understand the meaning of resource attraction, entertainment experience, love mark, and attachment of tourist destinations. A theoretical study was conducted on each research concept to achieve the proposed research purpose. Based on this, an empirical study was conducted after deriving a questionnaire based on this, and a non-face-to-face survey was conducted nationwide using population-proportional sampling. The empirical study was confirmed through the statistical programs SPSS25.0 and AMOS25.0. The resource attractiveness of the tourist destination had a positive (+) relationship with the influence on the tourists' experience. The relationship between the experience and the love mark had a positive (+) relationship. A positive (+) relationship was also formed in the relationship between experience and attachment. However, the relationship between love mark and attachment did not form a significant relationship.Because it reflects regional characteristics, it is a useful material for local culture and history, so protection, preservation, and active program development are required. is needed.

This study focuses on regathering the regional festival tourists through the reuse of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics facilities. It has a purpose of proposing directions to develop regional festival through the case analysis of successful domestic and international festivals. As a method of primary study, case analysis of domestic and international festivals and literature study were done. It was developed by data from the Statistics Office and Culture Tourism. This study suggests the Trout Festival and Snow Festival, to develop the following strategy using the facilities and make new, fused contents for the festivals. It expects the increase in facilities utilization and boom in regional economy to appear with the initiation of the unique strategy. This study to be used as a reference in the future for regathering the tourists and future studies on this specific topic.

This study is on the sensitive image of pattern expressed in the color & formative types of traditional Jokakbo(scraps of cloth). The object of this research is Korean traditional scraps of cloth in the latter period of Chosun Dynasty. This study is to be classified into 10 formative types like square type 1, square type 2, diagonal type, diamond type, many color striped type, concentric circle type, pinwheel type, vertical line type, cintamani pattern type, and free style type to apply the design of Jokakbo to Korean design. And color group is divided into vivid tone and pale tone. And it constitutes 17 patterns from the combination of these two types. As for the factors of constitution of scraps of cloth, it consists of factors like revelation, attraction, temperature sense, abstract, and rigidity. In the emotional image in the patterns, both vivid tone and pale tone showed dynamic and warm emotion together. Also, the factors of revelation and attraction were evaluated as opposite images, and it evaluated the plain and dim emotion as more attractive emotion. They preferred the pale tone to the vivid tone. They preferred the cintamani pattern in the vivid tone, and the diamond pattern in the pale tone most. From the research result above, this study made the abstract image of scraps of cloth standardized and prepared for a basis to execute it essentially. This research will be used as basic data to make traditional Korean image spotlighted in the world fashion markets as well as it will be helpful to the development of pattern design for the scraps of cloth essentially.

This study aims to assess the attraction of foreign direct investment in Vietnamese economic zones (including industrial zones and economic zones). The main research method used are synthesis and comparison analysis based on the data collected from the surveyed group comprising of enterprises operating in the economic zones in the Middle (Chu Lai, Nhon Hoi, Dung Quat) and the Southern (the largest island: Phu Quoc). After conducting surveys, research results show that there is a difference between the assessment and the level to meet the requirements of investors with business environment, expressed through the following criteria: (1) the infrastructure; (2) quality of public services; (3) preferential policies; (4) labor; (5) market; and (6) social services. Based on the assessment of the identified criteria, this paper had suggested six number of recommendations to promote the role of attracting foreign direct investment capital into the economic zones in Vietnam: (1) implementing the "one-stop-shop" policy; (2) continuing to improve the infrastructure of economic zones; (3) prevent and ensure the security of economic zones; (4) implementing vocational training activities to improve quality of human resources; (5) development of supporting industries; (6) raising the quality of capital invested in the economic zone.
