The purpose of this study was to investigate the several types of Korean parent's child rearing attitudes perceived by their children and the related variables. The study included the development of a "Children's Report of Korean Parent's Behavior Inventory"(CKPBI). Subjects were 1722 5th and 6th grade elementary school children from 5 urban cities in Korea. CKPBI and a Home Environment Questionnaire were used to gather data for the study. Stepwise multiple regression analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and factor analysis were conducted for the purpose of the study. A CKPBI which consists of 46 items for father's and 48 items for mother's was found as both a valid and reliable instrument for measuring the child rearing attitudes of Korean parents. A factor analysis resulted in identifying two factors both for mothers and fathers; they were the "Warmth factor" and "Rejection-Authority factor". Eight types of child rearing attitudes were found for Korean parents. The SES of family significantly predicted Korean parent's child rearing attitudes. The SES of the family, and sex of the child determined variations in Korean parents' child rearing attitudes. Maternal religion had a significant correlation with both boys' and girls' perceptions of parental attitudes. The results of this study indicate high inconsistency within each parent and high consistency between both parents.
Purpose: To describe the knowledge and attitudes of nursing college students and non-nursing college students toward HIV/AIDS for use in the development of an effective HIV/AIDS education program. Method: The data were collected from 165 nursing college students and 92 non-nursing college students using a structured questionnaire, and then analyzed by $X^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: Compared to previous research, the score of some items of the knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS improved. However, the score of several items of the knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS needs further improvement. In both groups of college student, total attitudes toward HIV/AIDS were correlated with total knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Conclusion: Although some knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS improved comparing to previous research, a more specifically structured education program is needed. The development of a the program to increase the attitudes toward HIV/AIDS patients is critical.
Purpose: This study examined the relationships among disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency among nursing students by identifying the predictors of disaster nursing competency. Methods: The study participants were 306 nursing students in the nursing departments of 3 universities located in G City and J Province. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The participants' scores for disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency were 5.41±1.68, 4.29±0.46, and 2.84±0.78, respectively. Disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency exhibited positive correlations. The factors influencing disaster nursing competency among nursing students included disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, year level, disaster training experience, first-aid training experience, disaster area experience, medical service experience, and disaster severity awareness. These variables explained 17% of the variance in disaster nursing competency. Conclusion: Disaster nursing knowledge and disaster preparedness attitudes was positively related to disaster nursing competency. The findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop and apply education programs aimed at increasing disaster nursing knowledge and enhancing disaster preparedness attitudes among nursing students to improve nursing students' disaster nursing competency.

Purpose: This study was investigated the knowledge, attitudes, and educational needs of nursing students regarding the sexuality of elderly individuals. Methods: This was a descriptive study. Data were collected from April $1^{st}$ to $22^{nd}$, 2016. One hundred ninety-three nursing students in Daejeon city and Chungcheongnam-do were surveyed. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Results: Mean scores on the knowledge, attitudes, and educational needs measures were 15.74/29, 28.45/40, and 36.67/50 respectively. There were significantly differences in major variables according to needs for sexual education of the elderly. There were also significant differences in knowledge and educational needs depending on students' age and year in school. Higher levels of knowledge of sexuality were significantly correlated with more positive attitudes and higher educational needs. Positive attitudes were also correlated with higher educational needs. Conclusion: Nursing students showed a low level of knowledge and poor attitudes towards sexuality in the elderly. This suggests that there is a need for education on the sexuality of the elderly in the nursing curriculum. This education would guide nursing students to obtain correct knowledge and positive attitudes so that they would be able to provide effective and appropriate sexuality care for elderly patients.

Results: The mean scores of assertiveness and attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration were $3.20{\pm}.42$ and $3.20{\pm}.30$, respectively. Assertiveness and attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration according to the general characteristics showed significant differences on the numbers of advisors and job satisfaction. There was a significant positive correlation between assertiveness and attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration. Result : The highest of nurses' enneagram personality types was type 6 and type 5 and 8 were not existed. The triad of enneagram was consist of head type 40.9%, heart type 39.8%, gut type 19.3% orderly. Nursing professional attitudes and job satisfaction of nurses were positive. Nursing professional attitudes in type 2 were the highest but in type 9 were the lowest. also job satisfaction in type 1 were the highest but in type 2 were the lowest. The purpose of this study is to examine the longitudinal causal relationships between maternal parenting stress and parenting attitudes. Relevant data from mothers with infants aged from 2 to 4 years of age was gathered from the Panel Study of Korean Children were analyzed by means of Latent Growth Modeling. The findings are as follows, First, levels of parenting stress increased whereas the extent of positive parenting attitudes decreased as children grow older. Second, the initial value of parenting stress was observed to have a negative effect on the initial value of positive parenting attitudes. Third, those mothers who generally have faster speeds of increasing parenting stress tend to have faster speeds of decreases in positive parenting attitudes. What this study clearly revealed is that the positive parenting attitudes of mothers with infants tend to improve when the mothers try to efficiently deal with their parenting stress by either acquiring appropriate parenting knowledge or receiving support from their families and communities.
