노인의 평생교육 참여동기가 교육만족도와 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Types of Participation Motive to Life-long Education on Education Satisfaction and Perception Degree to Successful Aging of the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 평생교육프로그램에 참여하고 있는 노인들의 교육참여동기유형과 교육만족도 그리고 성공적 노화 간의 관계를 밝히는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 충청남도 천안시에 소재한 노인 복지관을 이용하는 65세 이상의 노인들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했으며 414부를 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, 그리고 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인평생교육참여동기는 활동지향동기, 목표지향동기 그리고 학습지향동기로 분류되었다. 둘째, 교육만족도에는 학습지향동기가 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고 셋째, 성공적 노화에는 활동지향동기와 학습지향동기가 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 교육만족도와 성공적 노화간의 관계에서는 교육만족도가 성공적 노화에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다.

Update on the APJCP and the APOCP in 2013 - What is Going to be Achieved in the Future

  • The history of the APOCP/APJCP goes back to 1999 when a number of interested scientists joined together to form the organization and to launch a new journal to support cancer prevention research in the Asian-Pacific area. Since the initial Founding Conference, some six General Assemblies (GAs) and ten Regional Conferences (RCs) and Special Study Sessions have been organized. Already the decisions have been made for two further GAs and at least three RCs. As of the April issue of 2013, a total of nearly 3,700 papers have already been published in regular issues of the APJCP or special supplements. With support of the Korean National Cancer Center, housing the Chief Editorial Office, the journal is now including approximately 100 papers a month. Although it experienced a set-back by reduction in the Impact Factor (IF) from 1.29 in 2010 to 0.67 in 2011, there are good grounds to expect an improvement in 2012. However, the future of the APOCP/APJCP will continue to depend on its membership, making continuous efforts to attend our conferences and submit good quality manuscripts. It is particularly important to cite papers in the APJCP wherever possible, if the wish is for an IF commensurate with our long term aims. In that sense it is up to all authors, since the journal will continue to have a very positive ploicy towards accepting papers from all countries within the Asian-Pacific, with continue to varied levels of resources. The editorial team looks forward to your considered support. The APOCP also hopes to see you in person at future meeetings, so that you have a more active voice in deciding the best way forward in our cooperative enterprise.

간호대학생의 자아상과 간호사 이미지 지각과의 관계에서 자기조절 효능감의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Self-Regulatory Efficacy in the Relationship between Self-image and Perception of the Nurse's Image of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine how the self-image of nursing students can affect the perception of the nurse and to verify the moderating effect of self-regulatory efficacy on perception of the nurse and self image of nursing students. Methods: This study was carried out by 768 nursing students of 10 Universities from all parts of the country from June 18, 2012 to July 13, 2012. Data was analyzed by the SPSS (frequency, ANOVA, and hierarchial multiple regression analysis) program. The moderating effect of self-regulatory efficacy in the relationship between self-image and the nurse's perception of nursing students was measured. Results: The result of male students shows that self-regulatory efficacy affects the perception of the nurse. In the case of female students, their self-image and self-regulatory efficacy were statistically significant. In addition, the moderating effect of self-regulatory efficacy was statistically significant. Conclusions: Colleges of nursing are in need of providing chances to students to attend a class related to understanding how to encourage a positive self image. In addition, a positive self image can effect a nurse's identity. As the moderating effect of self-regulatory efficacy is proved to be effective, nursing students should request a way to achieve recognition with professionalism during nurse's training.

취업 부모의 학교참여 경험 및 학교참여휴가제에 대한 요구 (Experiences of School Participation and the Need for School-Participation Leave for Employed Parents)

  • This study attempted to investigate school participation experiences and the need for a school-participation leave for employed parents. A school participation leave is a paid or unpaid leave that guarantees workers to take time-off for school participation regarding children's educational purposes. We reviewed cases of school participation in other countries. There are similar types of educational leave in Russia, Greece, Italia, Sweden, Swaziland, and South Africa. We collected survey data from 1,194 employed parents (794 fathers and 400 mothers) whose children attend kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high-school. This study compares school participation experiences and needs by parent gender. The results showed that 62 % of the fathers and 80 % of the mothers participated in any type of school meetings and events at least once in the previous year. Fathers attended school events such as art festivals and mothers attended PTA meetings, school events, and parent-teacher conferences. The most frequently mentioned reason for non-participation among parents was related to work. A total of 87.7% of the parents agreed that a school-participation leave should be introduced. The results of the logistic regression showed that mothers compared to fathers, college graduates compared to post-secondary graduates, those whose children attended preschool or elementary school compared to high school, and those who had longer working hours were more likely to agree on the introduction of school participation leave. In conclusion, a policy intervention such as school-participation leave should be considered to provide employed parents time to be involved in their children's education and participate in school activities.

영어쓰기능력 향상을 위한 이러닝 활용 방안 연구 (A Study on the methods for improving writing ability through e-learning)

  • 인터넷에 의해 사회의 모든 분야가 변해가고 있으며 교육 분야에서도 그 영향력이 높아지고 있다. 이러닝은 인터넷을 이용하여 시간과 공간에 제약을 받지 않고 학습자가 원하는 수준과 방법으로 능동적인 학습할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러닝을 통하여 영어쓰기능력을 향상시키는 방안에 대해서 연구하였으며 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 온라인 강의 사이트, 인터넷 사이트, 커뮤니티나 블로그 등을 통해서 영어쓰기를 향상시키기 위한 강의를 들을 수 있고 학습 자료를 받을 수 있다. 둘째, 이러닝을 통한 영어쓰기 학습은 학습자 중심의 학습이며, 자신의 수준에 맞는 학습을 단계적으로 진행할 수 있다. 또한 자신이 선택한 학습을 하기 때문에 흥미를 가지고 능동적인 학습이 이루어진다. 셋째, 이메일이나 채팅을 통해 원어민과 글로 의사소통을 함으로써 자신의 생각을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있고, 다른 나라의 문화를 이해할 수 있으며 실질적인 영어를 학습할 수 있다.

해외의 교원양성 체제 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of International Teacher Education Systems)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사회의 변화와 IT의 발달을 고려하여 정보교육에 대해 지속적으로 노력하고 있거나, 교육과정을 개편한 나라들의 교원양성 체제를 비교하는 것이다. 독일, 핀란드, 영국, 미국을 대상으로 교원양성 체제를 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 교원양성 기관의 구분이 없고, 부전공을 강조하고 있으며, 교원양성의 경로가 다양하였다. 전문대학원 체제가 발달하였고, 졸업 후 수습기간이 1년 이상이며, 면허를 갱신하는 제도가 시행되고 있었다. 결과에 근거하여 교원 임용 대상을 확대하여 일반대학원 졸업자에 대한 임용 기회를 확대하고, 모든 교원들에게 부전공 수준으로 SW교육을 실시할 필요를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 교원 자질 재평가를 위한 면허 갱신 제도 도입을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 일본을 포함하여 5개 국가와 한국의 교원양성 체제를 비교했다는 점에 의의가 있다.

편측무시를 가진 뇌졸중 환자를 위한 동적 체간 평형 훈련이 편측무시, 균형, 일상생활수행능력에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Dynamic Trunk Equilibrium Exercise on Neglect, Balance, Activities of Daily Living in Stroke Patients With Hemi-Spatial Neglect)

  • Background: Hemispatial neglect is defined as the failure to attend, report, respond, or orient toward meaningful stimuli provided in the contralateral side of a brain lesion. Objects: This study was conducted to find out the effect of dynamic trunk equilibirum exercise for stroke patients with hemi-spatial neglect. Methods: This study included 21 stroke subjects, randomly assigned to either the experimental group or the control group. The exercise program consisted of 5 sessions of 20 minutes per week during 4 weeks. The line-bisection test, the Albert test, the balance function score, the Berg balance scale, the postural assessment scale for stroke and the modified Barthel index were measured before and after training. All data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. Between-group and within-group comparison was analyzed by using Independent t-test and Paired t-test respectively. Results: The results of study were as follows: There were significant differences between before and after intervention in both group (p<.05). There were significant differences in the line-bisection test, Albert test, balance function score, Berg balance scale, postural assessment scale for stroke and modified Barthel index between the experimental group and the control group (p<.05). Conclusion: Dynamic trunk equilibrium exercise had a positive effect on patients' neglect, balance ability and activities of daily living. Further studies are required to generalize the results of this study.

의과대학 선택교육과정의 운영절차와 만족도 평가 (Evaluation of Process and Satisfaction for Selective Courses in a Medical School)

  • The necessity of embracing selective courses in medical curriculum is increasing due to the expansion of medical knowledge and changes in the health care environment. In contrast to the abundant evidence regarding elective or selective courses during the clinical phase, articles focusing on the preclinical period are relatively scarce. This study aims to explore the development, implementation, and evaluation of newly-adopted selective courses in the first-year medical curriculum in a medical school which recently underwent a major curricular revision. First of all, the Curriculum Committee established goals and operating principles of the courses, and then the committee encouraged all participating professors to attend a related faculty development workshop after finalizing the list of courses. A survey was conducted at the end of each course for evaluation. Of the 36 courses opened in 2016, the overall satisfaction of students was $4.98{\pm}1.06$ (out of 6) and showed a strong correlation with students' previous expectations, reasoning- and participation-oriented teaching, and outcome of the courses including increased motivation. In the open-ended responses, students and professors described not only intended outcomes such as acquisition of medical knowledge and increased interest in new topics, but also unintended outcomes including positive impression for selective courses and even high satisfaction and rewarding experiences, especially from the teachers' perspective. Although long-term outcomes remain to be seen, the results of this study show the feasibility and impact of selective courses and will contribute to effective implementation in other medical schools.

소도구를 활용한 신체활동이 만 3세 유아의 창의적 신체표현 능력과 신체적 자아개념 발달에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Physical Effort using Props on 3-year-old Children's Ability in relation to their Creative Physical Expression and Development of a Physical Self-concept)

  • This study proposes to find out what effects physical effort using props has on infants' ability in relation to their creative physical expression and physical self-concept. This study targets three-year-old preschoolers who attend S and T nursery, located in Yeonje, Busan, of which 16 belong to an experimental group. The research tools used in the study are the creative physical expression test by Kim Eun-Shim(1994), which is the modified version of Bae Hyun-Suck's testing tool(1990), and an altered version of the questionnaire focusing on physical self-concept by Whang Sun-Gack(2001). The experimental group is divided into a large and small sub-group and then physical activities involving props are done by these divided experimental groups once or twice a week for 12 weeks, while outdoor activities are carried out with the comparison group once or twice a week for 12 weeks. For both groups, a total of 20 experiments are done. To obtain answers to the research questions, an individual version of the T-test is conducted using means and standard variations of the experimental and comparison groups. The results of this study are as follows : 1) the physical efforts of the experimental group using props reaped more positive effects as regards creative physical expression than the comparison group, 2) the positive effect on the participants' physical self-concept is also more evident in the case of the experimental group.

범죄피해자의 정보권보장을 위한 방안 (The Guarantee of Criminal Victim's Information Rights)

  • 민사소송이든 형사소송이든 소송이 존재하는 가장 큰 이유는 진실을 밝히는 것이다. 당사자들은 서로 자기의 주장이 옳다고 주장하고 그에 따른 주장사실과 증거자료를 제출한다. 그리고 재판장은 당사자들의 주장사실과 당사자들이 제출한 증거자료들을 면밀히 살펴 누구의 주장이 옳은지 판결을 내린다. 당사자들은 승소를 위하여 자기의 주장을 논리 있게 주장하고, 상대방의 주장에 대하여 항변하며 그에 따른 증거자료들을 제출한다. 그런데 상대방의 주장사실을 제대로 이해하지 못하거나 파악하지 못한다면 당연히 그에 대한 항변을 제대로 할 수 없을 것이다. 이러한 점을 충분히 참작하여 민사소송에서는 원피고가 제출하는 모든 서류는 처음부터 원본과 상대방에게 송달할 부본을 만들어 제출하게 되고, 법원에서는 이를 그 상대방에게 송달해준다. 그럼으로써 상대방에서 어떤 주장을 하고 또 어떤 증거자료들을 제출했는지 쉽게 알 수 있도록 하고 그에 대한 항변이나 주장을 하라고 한다. 그러나 형사소송 특히 수사절차에서는 수사의 특수성 등을 이유로 고소장이나 피해자 진술조서, 피의자 진술조서, 각 당사자가 제출하는 증거자료 등을 일체 열람등사하지 못하도록 하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 과연 수사의 특수성 등을 이유로 소송기록의 열람등사를 제한하는 것이 옳은지, 아니면 피해자 등의 정보권 보장을 위하여 소송기록의 열람 등사를 허용해야 하는지 등을 살펴보고자 한다.
