Oxidation of artemisinic acid was attempted with chromium trioxide-pyridine complex. Epi-Deoxyarteannuin B was formed almost quantitatively, while expected keto artemisinic acid was not the major product. This article shows Hilbert's Paris address within the context of his career and the mathematics of his day. And the text of Hilbert's speech will be considered in some detail, particularly those parts of it that reflects his vision of mathematics most clearly. At the end it is attempted to show the limitations of the standard view of Hilbert as an advocate of a formalist approach to mathematics.

Visual Emotion is attempted to be evaluated by EEG(Electroencephalogram). Twenty university students were participated in this study. IAPS(International Affective Picture System) was used for the visual stimuli. Most positive and most negative emotional response were pairely compared. The results showed alpha increase, delta and beta decrease with postive emotional response, and alpha-delta inter-variation with emotional progress.

Epidural hematoma is relatively rare in newborn infants and frequently associated with instrumental deliveries or other complications during labor and delivery. Although surgical evacuation has been the most common therapy, many other procedures have been described. Although many epidural hematomas require surgical evacuation rather than nonsurgical management, conservative or aspiration of hematoma have been attempted. In the case of EDH associated with cephalhematoma, aspiration of cephalhematoma could be attempted because frequent features of these combination were communication between these hematoma. We report a case of successful nonsurgical management of epidural hematoma through the aspiration of accompanying cephalhematoma in a 5-day-old newborn infant.

Purpose: This study was to identify what experience meant for the wives that attempted IVF-ET(In Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer) program due to the spouse's infertility and provide fundamental materials to improve nursing interventions. Method: Giorgi's phenomenological method was employed, the subjects were five wives who had ever attempted IVF-ET program due to the infertility of their spouses. In-depth interview and observation method were utilized to gather information from April to December 2003. Result: The significant results from analyzing the interviews can be grouped into 34 themes, 8 categories. The essential themes for the experiences of the wives were 'shocked by the unbelievable reality', 'can't give up the connection to the blood', 'Lack of social education on pregnancy, and childbirth', 'self-pity', 'feelings of both families', 'Being afraid of the unexpected result', 'physical and mental agony', 'Positively coping with the reality. Conclusion: The results show that infertility is not a mere personal matter, and infertile people, their families and society should team up with in tackling it. The physical, psychological and social problems triggered by infertility could be ironed out by making both personal and collaborative approaches to that.

This study first attempted to point out fundamental reasons behind the failure to have WiBro services off the saddle, investigating the previous studies, and second to screen the WiBro promotion policies after reviewing the major steps conducted thus far by the government. In order to put the screened policies in order by the importance, an AHP analysis was conducted targeting WiBro professionals in various fields such as government offices, universities, research institutes, and industry. One step further, causal loop diagramming on the system dynamics methodology was conducted to examine the dynamic structure of the WiBro market in holistic standpoint of view. Finally, a simulation model was developed based on the causal loop diagrams and the results of the AHP analysis in order to examine how various policy scenarios influence the growth of the WiBro market over time, and to compare the mix of policy options. Finally, the study attempted to draw some implications for WiBro vitalization.

The aim of this study is twofold. First, this study aimed to explore how Korean university students' English learning motivation is related to their English listening proficiency and study time. Second, it attempted to interpret the English learning motivation linking the two different motivation theories: self-determination theory and L2 motivational self system. The constructs of the students' L2 learning motivation were investigated with the data obtained through the questionnaire from 122 sophomore students. A factor analysis was conducted to extract the major factors of motivation. As a result, 6 factors were extracted: Intrinsic Pleasure, Identified Value Regulation, Intrinsic Accomplishment, Introjected Regulation, External Regulation, and Identified Regulation. The Interrelatedness among the assessment results on the L2 listening proficiency (pre and post test), listening study time, and motivation factors was measured by correlation coefficients. The statistical results indicated that pre-test scores were significantly related to Identified Regulation and Identified Value Regulation toward English learning, and post-test results had significant correlation with Intrinsic Accomplishment and Identified Regulation. However, no motivation subtypes showed statistical association with the students' listening study time. The results were attempted to be interpreted both under L2 motivational self system and self-determination framework to better illuminate the motivation theory with more explanatory power.
