운동부 지도자들을 위한 스마트폰 기반 기록관리 어플리케이션의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Smart phone-based Records Management Application for Sports Clubs)

  • 본 연구는 운동부 지도자들이 운동선수들의 기량을 향상시키기 위하여 효율적으로 기록관리 할 수 있는 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 설계하고 구현한 것이다. 운동선수들이 기량을 향상시키기 위해서는 실전과 같은 훈련을 하여야 하며 그에 대한 방안으로 기구, 시설, 장비, 상황 등에 맞추어 훈련하는 방법도 있겠지만, 훈련 시 달성한 기록을 체크하여 운동선수에게 기록에 대한 동기부여를 하는 방안도 생각할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 유소년 농구클럽을 대상으로 사전 조사를 통하여 실제 농구경기에서 쓰이는 기록관리 시스템으로 운동을 하였을 때와, 그렇지 않았을 때 경기 기록 활용이 동기 부여가 되는 것을 확인하였다. 그리하여 스마트폰 기반 기록관리 어플리케이션을 설계하고 개발하였으며, 이 시스템을 이용한 후 지도자들의 설문조사를 통하여 훈련 효율성을 측정한 결과 실력향상을 위한 동기부여가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

국가대표 여자 필드하키 선수들의 스포츠 손상 역학조사 (Injuries in Female Elite Korean Field Hockey Athletes: an Epidemiological Study)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the incidence, location, and characteristics of sports injuries according to the position in Korean female national field hockey athletes. METHODS: Eighteen female national field hockey athletes (two goal keepers, five forwards, six midfielders, and five defenders) who trained at the national training center between January 2018 and December 2018 were enrolled. The event, position, and location of injury were recorded per IOC's daily injury reports form. The incidence of sports injuries was examined with the 95% confidence interval (CI), and the difference in the incidence of injury according to the position was presented as the rate ratio (RR). Moreover, differences in the location of sports injury according to the position were examined using χ2 tests. RESULTS: A total of 92 sports injuries occurred among field hockey players, with an incidence of 6.47 cases per 1,000 hours of training (95% CI 4.98-7.96). In addition, 29.12 cases of injuries occurred per 1,000 exposures (95% CI 23.17-35.07), and the incidence of injury was highest among the defenders, followed by forwards, midfielders, and goal keepers. The most common location of sports injury was the lower extremity, followed in order by the trunk, upper extremity, head, and neck, and there were significant differences in the location of the sports injury according to the position (p=.046). In addition, lumbar spine/lower back, thigh, ankle, lower leg, knee, and foot/toe were common sites of sports injury among female field hockey players. CONCLUSION: These results provide a baseline for predicting sports injuries in athletes during games, and would provide useful information for developing performance enhancement and injury prevention programs.

국가대표 카바디 선수들의 스포츠 손상 역학조사 (Injuries in Elite Korean Kabaddi Athletes: A Epidemiological Study)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the incidence, location, and characteristics of sports injuries according to the position in Korean national Kabaddi athletes. METHODS: Twenty-four national Kabaddi athletes (12 males and 12 females) who trained at the national training center between January 2019 and December 2019 were enrolled in this study. The event, position, and location of injury were recorded on an IOC daily injury report form. The incidence of sports injury was examined with the 95% confidence interval (CI), and the difference in the incidence of injury by position was presented as the rate ratio (RR). Moreover, the differences in the location of sports injury according to position were examined using χ2 tests. RESULTS: One hundred and nine sports injuries occurred among Kabaddi players, with an incidence of 20.28 cases of injuries per 1,000 exposures (95% CI 16.47 - 24.08), and the incidence of injury was the highest among the competition, followed by training and weights. The most common location of sports injury was the lower extremity, followed by the upper extremity, trunk, head, and neck. In addition, no significant differences in the locations of the sports injuries were noted according to gender (p = .689). Furthermore, knee, ankle, lumbar spine/lower back, shoulder/clavicle were common sites of sports injury among Kabaddi players. CONCLUSION: These results provide a baseline for predicting sports injuries occurring in athletes during games, and would provide useful information for developing performance enhancement as well as injury prevention programs.

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the incidence, location, and characteristics of sports injuries according to the position in Korean female elite handball athletes. METHODS: Thirty handball athletes, who trained at between January 2019 and December 2019 were enrolled. The event, position, and location of injury were recorded according to the IOC's Daily injury reports form. The incidence of sports injury was examined with the 95% confidence interval (CI), and the difference in the incidence of injury by position was presented as the rate ratio (RR). Moreover, differences in the location of the sports injury according to the position were examined using χ2 tests. RESULTS: A total of 148 sports injuries occurred in the handball players, with an incidence of 22.71 cases of injury per 1,000 exposures (95% CI 19.05 - 26.37) The incidence of injury was highest in the Competition group, followed by the Weights and Training groups. The most common location of sports injury was the lower extremity, followed by the upper extremity, trunk. No significant differences in the location of sports injuries were observed according to the position (p = .384). In addition, the knee, ankle, lumbar spine/lower back, shoulder/clavicle were common sites of sports injury among handball players. CONCLUSION: These results provide a baseline for predicting sports injuries occurring in athletes during games, and would provide useful information for developing performance enhancement as well as injury prevention programs.

Biomechanical Analysis at the Start of Bobsleigh Run in Preparation for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics

  • Objective: The bobsleigh shoes used in the start section are one of the most important equipment for improving the competition. Despite the importance of the start section, there are no shoes that are specific for bobsleigh athletes in Korea and Korean athletes have to wear sprint spike shoes and practice the start instead of wearing bobsleigh shoes. The objective of the present study was to provide data for improving the performance of Korean bobsleigh athletes by investigating the differences in their split time, plantar pressure, and forefoot bending angle based on skill levels at the start of a run under the same conditions as training conditions. Method: Six Korean bobsleigh athletes were divided into two groups, superior (n=3) and non-superior (n=3). A digital speedometer measured the split time at the start; the Pedar-X system (Novel, Germany) measured plantar pressure. Plantar pressures and split times were measured as the athletes pushed a bobsleigh and sprinted at full speed from the start line to the 10-m mark on the bobsleigh track. An ultra-high-speed camera was used to measure the forefoot bending angle during the start phase. Results: Significant between-group differences were found in split times (p<.000; superior = 2.38 s, non-superior = 2.52 s). The superior group had a larger rearfoot (p<.05) contact area, maximum rearfoot force (p<.01), and a larger change in angles 3 and 4 (p<.05). Conclusion: At the start of a bobsleigh run, proper use of the rearfoot for achieving effective driving force and increasing frictional resistance through a wider frictional force can shorten start time.

10주간의 신체 안정화 운동프로그램이 초등학교 태권도 선수의 민첩성, 기능적 움직임, 균형, 폐기능에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Changes in Visual Response Speed, Functional Movement, Body Balance, and Lung Capacity after a 10-Week Body Stability Exercise Program for High School Male Taekwondo Athletes)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether physical ability is improved by body stabilization, develop training methods to improve physical fitness factors suitable for body conditions, and provide future management and exercise materials to improve Taekwondo athletes' performance, after conducting the Body stabilization exercise (BSE) program on 22 elementary school Taekwondo athletes for 10 weeks to strengthen core muscles and evaluating Visual response speed test (VRST), Functional movement screen (FMS), Y-Balance test (YBT) and Vital capacity (VC). Methods : In order to examine the impact of the BSE program on Taekwondo athletes' VRST, FMS, YBT and VC this study conducted individual evaluations on all subjects, including VRST, FMS, YBT and VC before applying the programs, and compared exercise effects before and after the program, before and after exercise by a certain period. Results : After exercising, strength and quickness were improved significantly and reaction time was significantly shortened (p<.001). The total score of FMS was improved from 10.86±1.17 before to 11.68±0.99 after exercising, was statistically significant (p=.014). YBT was significantly improved from 91.11±4.84 before to 95.68±5.15 after exercising (p<.001). VC improved was statistically significant (p<.001). Conclusion : In conclusion, the BSE athletic program is expected to help Taekwondo athletes perform well by preventing and reducing injuries through the improvement of muscular strength, strength, speed, agility, step, kick, balance, flexibility, full body endurance and the combination of technical abilities.

대학 펜싱선수들의 심리교육 효과: 자원동원성 수준에 따른 심리기술과 자기관리행동의 변화를 중심으로 (The change of Psychological skills strategy and Self-management behavior according to the level of Resourcefulness of Fencing-Athlete)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학 펜싱선수들을 대상으로 심리교육을 중재한 후 자원동원성 수준에 따라 심리기술과 자기관리행동이 어떻게 변화하는지 탐색하여 참여자의 심리적 역량에 따른 중재의 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 대학 펜싱 선수(남 10명, 여 10명) 20명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였으며, 심리교육은 지도자와 참여자에게 동의를 구한 후 팀의 훈련 및 시합일정을 고려하여 12회기를 실시하였다. 시행시간은 주 1회, 60-90분 정도 소요되었으며, 심리 교육의 효과를 확인하기 위하여 1회기와 12회기에 자원동원성, 심리기술, 자기관리행동을 탐색하였다. 특히 자원동원성은 연구 참여자들의 사전 평균점수를 기준으로 고/저 집단으로 나누어 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자원동원성 고집단에서는 심리기술 하위요인 중 집중력, 심상에서 유의미한 변화를 보였으며, 저집단에서는 극복의지, 목표설정, 자신감, 집중력, 심상 요인에서 유의미한 변화를 나타내었다. 둘째, 자원동원성 고집단에서는 자기관리 하위요인 중 몸관리에서 유의미한 변화를 보였고 자원동원성 저집단에서는 훈련관리에서 유의미한 변화를 보여 자원동원성 수준에 따라 다른 변화를 보였다.

유도선수의 성별에 따른 신체적, 심리적 기능 비교 및 상관관계 연구 (Comparison and Correlation between Physical and Psychological Functions by Gender in Judo Athletes)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to comparison and correlation between physical and psychological functions by gender in Judo athletes. Both the physical and psychological factors of athletes are important as factors influencing athletic performance, but there are few papers that have compared and studied the correlation between physical and psychological functions of judo players. Design: Cross sectional study Methods: The 134 participants; high school students, college students, and team players. They used physical functions to measure such as self-describing KOOS, FAOS, ODI, POMS, SCAT, ASMQ, and ACSI-28. Results: There was a significant difference in the physical function according to gender in the KOOS, but no significant difference in the FAOS and ODI. For psychological function, there was a significant difference in the vitality item in the POMS, and a significant difference in the body management, training management, life management, and unique behavior management items in the ASMQ. In the ACSI-28, there were significant differences in coping with adversity, stress repayment, concentration, freedom to worry about matches, and self-coaching behavior items. Physical function and psychological function showed a significant negative correlation. The POMS showed a negative correlation between the ASMQ and ACSI-28, whereas the SCAT showed a positive correlation. Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to be used as a basic data for sports training by gender of Judo athletes.

중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 이미지가 태권도 선수의 그릿(Grit), 심리상태와 경기수행력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Chinese University Taekwondo Instructors' image on the Grit, Psychological State and Performance of Taekwondo athletes)

  • 이 연구는 중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 이미지가 선수의 그릿, 심리상태와 경기수행력에 미치는 영향을 연구하여 향후 중국 대학 태권도의 질적 발전을 위해 우수한 지도자양성 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이 연구를 위해 중국 허난성 대학교에 있는 선수를 대상으로 모집단을 선정하였으며, 편의표본추출법을 통해 표본을 추출하였다. 회수된 380부의 설문지 중, 응답이 불성실하고 또는 누락된 문항이 있는 15부를 제외하여 총 365부를 결과처리에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 신뢰도분석, 탐색적 요인분석 및 다중회귀분석을 통해 실시했다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지도자 이미지의 하위요인인 지도자의 사회활동과 직업의식, 자질, 업무, 역할은 태권도 선수의 그릿에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지도자 이미지의 하위요인인 지도자의 사회활동과 직업의식, 자질, 태도, 업무, 역할은 태권도 선수의 심리상태에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지도자 이미지의 하위요인인 지도자의 사회활동과 직업의식, 자질, 태도는 태권도 선수의 경기수행력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Pst 1 Polymorphism of the Human Apolipoprotein AI Gene in Korean Elite Athletes

  • Serum lipid and lipoprotein levels are influenced by genetic factors, and exorcise increases the concentrations of cardio-protective parameters such as high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-cholesterol) and apolipoproteinAI (apoAI) in human serum. In the present study, we tested the effect of adaptation to endurance exercise on the association of a genetic polymorphism (Pst 1 RFLP) in the apoAI gene with these biochemical parameters. The genotype and allele frequencies for the Pst 1 RFLP were not significantly different between the elite athletes and sedentary controls (P>0.05). There were also no significant associations between the Pst 1 RFLP of the apoAI gene and the biochemical parameters in elite athletic group. Thus, our results suggest that the Pst 1 RFLP of the apoAI gene was not significantly associated with the serum apoAI and HDL-cholesterol concentrations as well as athletic performance in Koreans.
