This study has purpose to understanding recent trends and image effect of textile in fashion by looking to dyeing technique and aesthetics of diffusing image pattern. Further the study will hope to provide basic data for fashion and textile designer fashion. The methods of this study are academic literatures as well as practical study through case studies about actual works. Dyeing techniques and aesthetics of diffusing image pattern since 2000 fashion collection and their results are as follows. First, Dyeing techniques of diffusing image pattern are wet-dyeing and printing. There are plangi dyeing, salt dyeing, alcohol dyeing and ikat dyeing in the wet-dyeing and spray dyeing, discharge dyeing in the printing. There are tie-dyeing, rumpling-dyeing and plank-dyeing in the plangi. Second, Forming of the diffusing image pattern are due to uneven seeping and the contingency of a chemical reaction by reducing the pressure and intensity. Third, Aesthetics of diffusing image pattern are extracted purity missing childhood, fantasy escaping facts of the situation and abstraction representing informal world from formative characteristics of diffusing image pattern.

In General, data mining is defined as the knowledge discovery or extracting hidden necessary information from large databases. Its technique can be applied into decision making, prediction, and information analysis through analyzing of relationship and pattern among data. One of the most important works is to find association rules in data mining. Association Rule is mainly being used in basket analysis. In addition, it has been used in the analysis of web-log and user-pattern. This paper provides the application method in the field of marketing through the analysis of data using association rule as a technique of data mining.

This study examines the textile pattern design of Italian fashion brands and their brand extensions by comparing their images. Five Italian fashion brands are chosen and the textile pattern design of their brand extensions, which were presented during the eight collection. Then their design style is compared with the design style of their main brands. The five main brands and their brand extensions are as fellows: Anna Molinari-Blumarine, Dolce & Gabbana-D&G, Girogio Armani-Emporio Armani, Gian Franco Ferre'-GFF, and Prada-MiuMiu. Their color, motive type, motive layout, motive expression, and pattern drawing technique are examined and compared. Results suggest that most brand extensions generally use color, motive type motive layout. and motive expression similar to their main brands. In particular, their pattern drawing technique is a painting style white their main brands use a graphic style. This result suggests that to create and develop new brand extensions, Italian fashion (main brand) firms in general employ color, motive type, motive layout, and motive expression technique similar to main brands, but different drawing technique to differentiate from their main brands. The results of this study suggest that textile pattern design plays an important role in developing new brand extensions and thus should be considered as a crucial part of the product.

This paper explored and compared the textile pattern and motive design of fashion designers' brands and H&M collaboration collections. In particular, this study put it focus on textile pattern design of seven fashion design brands such as Roverto Cavalli and Versace, etc., which were collaborated with H&M. The color, motive type, motive layout, motive expression, and pattern drawing technique were collected from fashion internet sites over the five year period, and then were cross-sectionally examined and compared based on their color, motive type, motive layout, motive expression, and pattern drawing technique of products between fashion designers' brands and H&M collaboration collections. The analyses showed the following results: First, the similar color, motive type, motive layout, motive expression, and pattern were found between fashion designers' brands and H&M collaboration collections, in order to show the perspective texture of products to consumers. Second, H&M collaboration brands demonstrated unique textile design of H&M rather than the trendy design patterns. Finally, the textile design pattern used in H&M collection was more restricted in terms of motive expression technique and chromaticity than that used in fashion designers' brands.

Based on a complex event processing technique, an abuse pattern monitoring method is developed to provide an real-time detection. CEP is a technique to find complex event pattern in a massive information system. In this study, the events occurred by game-play are observed to be against the rules using CEP. User abuse patterns are pre-registered in CEP engine. And CEP engine monitors user abuse after aggregating the game data transferred by game logging server.

Carbon board, an electromagnetic shielding new material, is expected to be applied to the art wall by combining draft designs. When environment-friendly architecture materials are used as an interior wall, they are suitable as finishing materials. According to the increasing tendency of the application of carbon board, various styles could be made by decorating the whole or a part of a wall with tiles with module structure or by patterning the wall with panel-type woodcut or pictures or sculpture. And more graphic design based on diverse variation, and reconstruction and combination between other motif is being on the rise as a new expression. In this paper, make it possible to applying in MDF board and carbon board pattern design using the woodcut technique. The structural and physical properties were compared by usability of abrasion, toughness, stability. Samples are analyzed dependent on the hardness and relative density, change of detail pattern design and trimming technique. These results have shown that the possibility of applying of carbon board can be a high rank interior materials, capable of creating value of the living system, connects with MDF board, also can express humanism in a beautiful manner.

This study is aimed at reviewing how the Orientalism trend is expressed in the modem fashion in terms of silhouette, color, materials, and detail. To this end, the geographic scope of this study is limited to China, Japan, Korea, while data are collected from fashion collections, domestic and foreign magazines since 2000's, literature, and internet sites. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Silhouette: the basic square silhouette of the Oriental traditional costume do not disturb the body movement and have an effected on design to smoothly follow the body line rather than cutting out materials into several parts or emphasize the curved body. 2. Color: due to the influence of the Oriental Zen thought, color trend seems to pursue simplicity rather than complexity, and natural aesthetics. In addition, the Oriental colorfulness shall not be ignored. 3. Materials: golden embroidered material, polished satin, jersey, tough or rough materials, etc. have used with materials of the Oriental traditional costume came into fashion. In pattern, the Orientalism trend is expressive of pattern by Chinese ink-spread technique, simple brush touch technique, cloud pattern, lotus flower pattern or dragon pattern, all of which feature the Oriental calm aesthetics or those motivated by the Oriental traditional patterns. 4. Detail: the techniques of handicrafts and manual arts such as meticulous embroidery, tassel or patchwork reflect well the Orientalism trend in the modem fashion.

CEP(Complex Event Processing) is a technique to find complex event pattern in a massive information system. Based on CEP technique, an abuse pattern monitoring method has been developed to provide an real-time detection. In the method, the events occurred by game-play are observed to be against the rules using CEP. User abuse patterns are pre-registered in CEP engine. And CEP engine monitors user abuse after aggregating the game data transferred by game logging server. This article provides the performance analysis results of the abuse pattern monitoring method using real game DB. We results that the method proposed in previous study is effective to monitor abusing users.

This paper is to analyze patterns for Indonesian traditional textiles. Ikat is the resist-dyeing process in which designs are reserved in warp or weft yams by tying off small bundles of threads with fiber resists to prevent the penetration of dye. Batik is the technique applying a wax resist before dyeing to form a pattern in negative. Ikat and batik are the most renowned textile arts of Indonesia. Patterns are classified as geometric pattern, plant pattern, animal pattern. Also this paper discusses the origins of ikat and batik. Therefore this Paper proposes the classification and feature extraction of ikat and batik patterns. The results of this study can be effectively applied to develop competitive pattern design for Indonesian textile market.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a neck exercise using a proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) neck flexion and extension pattern on body balance in a progressive range of positions (supine, prone on elbow, and sitting), on numbness in the upper extremities, and on neck flexion motions in cervical myelopathy patients. Methods: One participant who was diagnosed with cervical myelopathy participated in this study. A reversal design (A-B-A') was used. The A and A' were the baseline period (no intervention), and B was the intervention period. The intervention used a neck extension pattern with a hold-relax technique and a neck flexion pattern with a combination of isotonic techniques in the supine position. Then, neck flexion and extension patterns were applied together with a reversal technique for stabilization, followed by a neck extension pattern with a combination of isotonic techniques in the prone position on the elbows. Finally, a neck flexion and extension pattern was used with a stabilizing reversal technique, and a neck extension pattern was applied with a combination of isotonic techniques in the sitting position for 60 minutes per day, 3 times per week for 8 weeks. To measure balance, numbness, and neck motion during neck flexion, the one-leg stand test and the visual analogue scale were used. Results: The right and left one-leg stand tests showed increased balance ability in the intervention phase. Upper extremity numbness was decreased in the intervention phase, and neck flexion motion was increased in the intervention phase. These increases were maintained after the intervention (Baseline II). Conclusion: These results suggest that a neck exercise using a PNF neck pattern with additional techniques in a progressive range of positions has a positive effect on cervical myelopathy patients for balance, numbness, and neck motion.
