This study aimed to provide an overview of artificial intelligence based music composition programs. The artificial intelligence-based composition program has shown remarkable growth as the development of deep neural network theory and the improvement of big data processing technology. Accordingly, artificial intelligence based composition programs for composing classical music and pop music have been proposed variously in academia and industry. But there are several limitations: devaluation in general populations, missing valuable materials, lack of relevant laws, technology-led industries exclusive to the arts, and so on. When effective measures are taken against these limitations, artificial intelligence based technology will play a significant role in fostering national competitiveness.

Recently, research to reduce the accident rate by actively adopting artificial intelligence technology in the field of disaster safety technology is spreading. In particular, it is important to quickly search the Rescue Requester in order to effectively perform rescue activities at the disaster site. However, it is difficult to search for Rescue Requester due to the nature of the disaster environment. In this paper, We intend to develop an artificial intelligence system that can be operated in a smart helmet for firefighters to search for a rescue requester. To this end, the optimal SoC was selected and developed as an embedded system, and by testing a general-purpose artificial intelligence S/W, the embedded system for future smart helmet research was verified to be suitable as an artificial intelligence S/W operating platform.
Recently, research on automating game tests using artificial intelligence agents instead of humans is attracting attention. This paper aims to collect play data from human and artificial intelligence and analyze their similarity as a preliminary study for game balancing automation. At this time, constraints were added at the learning stage in order to create artificial intelligence that can play similar to humans. Play datas obtained 14 people and 60 artificial intelligence by playing Flippy bird games 10 times each. The collected datas compared and analyzed for movement trajectory, action position, and dead position using the cosine similarity method. As a result of the analysis, an artificial intelligence agent with a similarity of 0.9 or more with humans was found.

Artificial intelligence is driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is in the spotlight as a general-purpose technology. As the data collection from the battlefield increases rapidly, the need to us artificial intelligence is increasing in the military, but it is still in its early stages. In order to identify maritime targets, Republic of Korea navy acquires images by ISAR(Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar) of maritime patrol aircraft, and humans make out them. The radar image is displayed by synthesizing signals reflected from the target after radiating radar waves. In addition, day/night and all-weather observations are possible. In this study, an artificial intelligence is used to identify maritime targets based on radar images. Data of radar images of 24 maritime targets in Republic of Korea and North Korea acquired by ISAR were pre-processed, and an artificial intelligence algorithm(ResNet-50) was applied. The accuracy of maritime targets identification showed about 99%. Out of the 81 warship types, 75 types took less than 5 seconds, and 6 types took 15 to 163 seconds.

2D human pose estimation still faces difficulty in low-resolution images. Most existing top-down approaches scale up the target human bonding box images to the large size and insert the scaled image into the network. Due to up-sampling, artifacts occur in the low-resolution target images, and the degraded images adversely affect the accurate estimation of the joint positions. To address this issue, we propose a multi-resolution input feature fusion network for human pose estimation. Specifically, the bounding box image of the target human is rescaled to multiple input images of various sizes, and the features extracted from the multiple images are fused in the network. Moreover, we introduce a guiding channel which induces the multi-resolution input features to alternatively affect the network according to the resolution of the target image. We conduct experiments on MS COCO dataset which is a representative dataset for 2D human pose estimation, where our method achieves superior performance compared to the strong baseline HRNet and the previous state-of-the-art methods.
In the smart industry where data plays an important role, cloud computing is being used in a complex and advanced way as a convergence technology because it has and fits well with its strengths. Accordingly, in order to utilize artificial intelligence rather than human beings for quality management of cloud computing services, a consistent standardization method of data collected from various nodes in various areas is required. Therefore, this study analyzed technologies and cases for incorporating artificial intelligence into specific services through previous studies, suggested a plan to use artificial intelligence to comprehensively standardize data in quality management of cloud computing services, and then verified it through case studies. It can also be applied to the artificial intelligence learning model that analyzes the risks arising from the data formalization method presented in this study and predicts the quality risks that are likely to occur. However, there is also a limitation that separate policy development for service quality management needs to be supplemented.

The importance and necessity of artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning, has recently been emphasized. In fact, artificial intelligence, such as intelligent surveillance cameras and other security systems, is used to solve various problems or provide convenience, providing solutions to problems that humans traditionally had to manually deal with one at a time. Among them, information security is one of the domains where the use of artificial intelligence is especially needed because the frequency of occurrence and processing capacity of dangerous codes exceeds the capabilities of humans. Therefore, this study intends to examine the definition of artificial intelligence and machine learning, its execution method, process, learning algorithm, and cases of utilization in various domains, particularly the cases and contents of artificial intelligence technology used in the field of information security. Based on this, this study proposes a method to apply machine learning technology to the method of classifying and detecting malware that has rapidly increased in recent years. The proposed methodology converts software programs containing malicious codes into images and creates training data suitable for machine learning by preparing data and augmenting the dataset. The model trained using the images created in this manner is expected to be effective in classifying and detecting malware.
Artificial intelligence is a core technology in the era of digital transformation, and as the technology level is advanced and used in various industries, its influence is growing in various fields, including social, ethical and legal issues. Therefore, it is time to raise social awareness on ethics of artificial intelligence as a prevention measure as well as improvement of laws and institutional systems related to artificial intelligence development. In this study, we analyzed unstructured data, typically text, such as online news articles and comments to confirm the degree of social awareness on ethics of artificial intelligence development. The analysis showed that the public intended to concentrate on specific issues such as "Human," "Robot," and "President" in 2018 to 2019, while the public has been interested in the use of personal information and gender conflics in 2020 to 2021.

Recently, embedded systems, such as mobile platforms, have multiple processing units that can operate in parallel, such as centralized processing units (CPUs) and neural processing units (NPUs). We can use deep-learning compilers to generate machine code optimized for these embedded systems from a deep neural network (DNN). However, the deep-learning compilers proposed so far generate codes that sequentially execute DNN operators on a single processing unit or parallel codes for graphic processing units (GPUs). In this study, we propose PartitionTuner, an operator scheduler for deep-learning compilers that supports multiple heterogeneous PUs including CPUs and NPUs. PartitionTuner can generate an operator-scheduling plan that uses all available PUs simultaneously to minimize overall DNN inference time. Operator scheduling is based on the analysis of DNN architecture and the performance profiles of individual and group operators measured on heterogeneous processing units. By the experiments for seven DNNs, PartitionTuner generates scheduling plans that perform 5.03% better than a static type-based operator-scheduling technique for SqueezeNet. In addition, PartitionTuner outperforms recent profiling-based operator-scheduling techniques for ResNet50, ResNet18, and SqueezeNet by 7.18%, 5.36%, and 2.73%, respectively.
