Purpose - This study investigates the financial ratio of savings banks and the effect of the ratio having influence upon bankruptcy by quantitative empirical analysis of forecast model to give material of better management and objective evidence of management strategy and way of advancement and risk control. Research design, data, and methodology - The author added two growth indexes, three fluidity indexes, five profitability indexes, and four activity indexes CAMEL rating to not only the balance sheets but also the income statement of thirty savings banks that suspended business from 2011 to 2015 and collected fourteen financial ratio indexes. IBMSPSS VER. 21.0 was used. Results - Variables having influence upon bankruptcy forecast models included total asset increase ratio and operating income increase ratio of growth index and sales to account receivable ratio, and tangible equity ratio and liquidity ratio of liquidity ratio. The study selected total asset operating ratio, and earning and expenditure ratio from profitability index, and receivable turnover ratio of activity index. Conclusions - Financial supervising system should be improved and financial consumers should be protected to develop saving bank and to control risk, and information on financial companies should be strengthened.

This study aims to provide basic evidence for establishing prevention programs of school' mental health by identifying the factors of middle and high school student's depression and suicidal ideation related to stress of peer-relationship. For this purpose, we analyzed the data of 6,924 (who Experienced stress related to peer-relationship) among the 2012 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior Online Survey(8th). In demographic characteristics, subjective academic achievement affects depression in the case of girls. In health-related characteristics, medical treatment by violence, drinking experience, smoking experience have an effect on depression in the case of boys. Subjective health, drinking experience, smoking experience, drug experience are the factors affecting suicidal ideation both boys and girls. In order to promote mental health of youth, school-based prevention education complementing existing realistic problems needs to be implemented.

This study, in order to complement instability of analysis result stemming from the choice between reference point and comparison point which is pointed out as the defect of shift-share analysis, conducted shift-share analysis using Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) trend of Geumgang area, Chungcheongnam-do for the period from 2000 to 2011. As a result of the analysis, (1) industries that had both the positive Regional Share Effect (RSE) and Industrial Mixed Effect (IME) were service industries such as manufacturing industry, electricity gas, transportation industry, art, etc., which are positively influencing the regional industry. (2) industries that had both the negative RSE and IME were other service industries such as wholesale and retail businesses, lodging industry, food industry, real estate business and leasing service, business service industry, public administration, etc., which provide basic livelihood services for the residents. (3) industries that had the positive RSE and negative IME were agriculture, forestry and fishery industry, mining industry, construction industry, and educational service industry. (4) industries that had the negative RSE and positive IME were info-communications industry, financial and insurance businesses, health industry, etc.

High resolution rainfall data at 1-hour or a finer scale are essential for reliable flood analysis and forecasting; nevertheless, many observations, forecasts, and climate projections are still given at coarse temporal resolutions. This study aims to evaluate a chaotic method for disaggregation of 6-hour rainfall data sets so as to apply operational 6-hour rainfall forecasts of the Korean Meteorological Association to flood models. We computed parameters of a state-of-the-art multiplicative random cascade model with two combinations of cascades, namely uniform splitting and diversion, using rainfall observations at Seoul station, and compared statistical performance. We additionally disaggregated 6-hour rainfall time series at 58 stations with the uniform splitting and evaluated temporal transferability of the parameters and changes in multifractal properties. Results showed that the uniform splitting outperformed the diversion in reproduction of observed statistics, and hence is better to be used for disaggregation of 6-hour rainfall forecasts. We also found that multifractal properties of rainfall observations has adequate temporal consistency with an indication of gradually increasing rainfall intensity across South Korea.

If we look closely to the power shift of the powerful countries historically. during the 16th century Spain's power came from gold, colony trade, the mercenary force, close relation with the thrown, 17th century Netherlands owes their power to trade, capital market, the marines, 18th century France owes it to population, agriculture, public administration, and the army. Also, England had their industry, political unity, finance and trust, the marines, liberalistic principles, a geographical merit of being an island which can be defended well and the 20th century America has their cosmopolitan culture, supernational communication, the capacity of the economy, science technology, military strength, alliances, liberalism international formation. But in the 21st century culture and art will prevail over the information age where technology and knowledge was the key, and it is predicted that this will be the source of power for a strong country. Rolfe Yesson, the head of The Copenhagen Research Center for future studies said, "Information age has ended and in the future Dream Society will arrive which focuses on making distinctions by delivering dreams and emotions to consumers". As cyberspace gradually substitutes reality, cyberspace has become more than an information search engine and has become a place where people fulfill their desires and exchange culture. And as a medium for diffusing culture, the importance of the digital dress-up avatar is predicted to increase gradually.gradually.

Seoul Fashion Week aims to be the world’s fifth Fashion Week from the year after 2000. This has involved significant labour and investment, not all of which has been successful. This study analyses the strengths and weaknesses of SFW based on the London Fashion Week as a successful model. By identifying its obvious and less obvious characteristics, this analysis aims to diagnose SFW’s current status in order to upgrade the event at an international level. Key factors are organisational body, designers, visitors, sponsors, schedule, venue, main events and supportive events. The following points have emerged from the research: the success of Seoul Fashion Week was based on the combination of separate collections, an appropriate fashion show venue, and the active role of new designers. The problems were: lack of an independent organisation, non-professional staff, lack of diverse visitors, exclusive governmental funding, late timing, excessive distance from the main European and American fashion markets, lack of sustainability of the main events, a limited variety of supportive events, the absence of online promotion and, last but not least, no distinctive features. The study concludes that Seoul Fashion Week has great potential with its fast growth and young designers. This should be complemented with an independent organisation and effective administration and strategy.

This study was devised to observe the antitumor activity of mugwort (Artemisia princeps Pampan.) against ICR mice inoculated with sarcoma-180 cells. The antitumor compounds were partially purified from petroleum ether extract of mugwort by silicic acid column chromatography. The active fraction used in in vivo test was obtained under the elution with acetone in silicic acid column chromatography. When the acetone fraction was intraperitoneally injected to the mice which had been subcutaneously inoculated on the left groin with sarcoma-180, the growth rate of tumor (sarcoma-180 mass) was inhibited by 30%. In case the acetone fraction was injected to the mice which had been inoculated intraperitoneally with sarcoma-180, the average life span was prolonged by 20%. After the injection of the active fraction, the spleen index and ${\gamma}-globulin$ ratio (%) were increased significantly (p<0.05). The administration of acetone fraction did not cause any abnormality in the body and the homeostasis of mice. Those observations suggest that the acetone fraction of mugwort extract has an antitumor effect in vivo.

To get the highly-accurate and precise position of a GPS receiver, they should consider the state-of-the-art GPS force and measurement models. Especially, the phase center variations (PCV) of a GPS antenna can cause several centimeters of positioning errors in the vertical direction. In this study, we implemented four different models of PCV and evaluated their impact on the computed coordinates. The test data were taken from the 14 National Geography Information Institute permanent GPS stations and 30 Minisry of Government Administration and Home Affairs sites. For different combinations of calibration methods, an average of 1.3-2.6cm of height difference was observed. Also, we found a maximum error of ${\sim}4mm$ in the estimates of the precipitable water vapors.

This paper investigated the impacts of theme, genre, and existence of originals on the number of visitors of children performance. Especially, we focused on the interaction effect of school periods with these variables. Using 954 performance data between 2010-2011 at Fantasia Theater run by Bucheon Culture Foundation, we found that entertaining performance, musical performance, and performance with existing originals had more visitors than others. Also, these impacts strongly existed during school periods. In result, this study found that school period should be considered seriously for the success of children performance.

나노기술을 식품에 응용하게 되면 영양소의 전달, 식품의 색, 향미, 물성 등이 향상되고 식품 포장재나 분석에 응용하는 경우 저장성 증진이나 시료 전처리 효율 및 기기 감도를 증가시키는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 이러한 장점으로 인해 유기 및 무기 나노입자, 나노섬유, 나노에멀전, 나노크레이 등의 나노물질을 식품첨가물, 건강기능소재, 식품 접촉물질 등으로 응용하는 시도가 식품산업계에서 급속히 확산되고 있다. 나노물질의 사용범위가 다양해질수록 나노물질의 환경 및 인체 노출가능성은 높아지게 된다. 그러나 아직 나노물질의 독성 및 위해성에 대해서는 초기 단계 수준의 연구가 진행되고 있는 정도이다. 또한 나노기술의 위험 평가에 대한 신뢰성이 제고될 수 있도록 나노물질에 대한 유해성 자료의 생산뿐만 아니라 나노물질의 물리화학적 특성과 노출량을 측정할 수 있는 적절한 측정수단이 확립되어야 한다. 나아가 식품에 나노기술의 적용으로 인한 이익은 최대화하고 부작용은 최소화하여 소비자의 건강을 보호하기 위해 식품나노물질의 생산, 가공, 유통, 소비, 폐기 등에 관한 전 생애(lifecycle) 평가 및 관리가 이루어지도록 적절한 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다.
