서울·경기지역 외식·조리전공 대학생의 중요 대학서비스에 대한 만족도(IPA) 분석 (The Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) on the University Services of Students Who Majored in Catering Cooling in Seoul and Gyeonggi Provinces)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the priority items according to attributes and analyze the differences between the importance and satisfaction rates through the IPA for the university service. The results in the study are as follow: First, from the result of the factorial analysis, 5 factors are included First, the possibilities for development of universities, universities' physical environment, Universities' administrative (employee) services, majors' educational services, and majors' laboratory environment. Second, as the total average value for important attributes of the universities is 3.50 and the average value of satisfaction is 2.91, there were significant differences (p<0.001). Third, in the analytical result of IPA, the 1st quadrant includes faster developments than other universities, departments' characterization, etc. The 2nd quadrant includes the convenience to issue all kinds of certificates, kindness of administrative staffs, etc. The 3rd quadrant includes convenience of the procedure to improve unsatisfactory services, development efforts to benchmark advanced universities, etc. Finally, the 4th quadrant includes heavy investments in education and environment, efforts to reflect students' demands, and needs, etc. Even though the importance of research subjects related to university services for these attributes is high, they are not fully satisfied, and there are plenty of dissatisfied students. Therefore, urgent supplementations to increase students' satisfaction rates are important. Form the results of the study, it has been found that urgent efforts to improve satisfaction rates of university students who major in catering cooking in the university services are essential and special plans to build competitive systems which can provide high-quality services are also necessary.

  • 20세기 말, 뉴미디어 기술의 보급과 뉴미디어 예술이 대두됨에 따라, 무용은 시각예술과 신체언어예술로써 점점 더 풍부하고, 많은 변화의 특징을 갖게 되었다. 인터넷이 엄청난 속도로 발전하고 있는 오늘날의 뉴미디어 환경에서 수많은 서로 다른 분야(예로 들면, 영화 연극, 컴퓨터 기술, 디지털 예술 등)들이 그 공통성과 특징을 빌려 다양한 교호 창작을 함으로써 새로운 학문적 연구와 이론 모델이 생겨나고 있다. 각 분야의 크로스오버가 화제가 되면서 전통적인 댄스 퍼포먼스 형식도 새로운 돌파구를 찾고 있다. 이 글은 두 부분으로 나누어져 있는데, 첫 번째 부분은 영상 장치의 춤 공연예술에 대한 연구이며, 두번째 부분은 무용예술의 전파 가능성과 영향을 연구하는 것으로, 이 두 부분의 연구를 통해 뉴미디어 환경에서 무용예술의 크로스오버 실현과 전파에 본 연구의 내용이 활용되길 기대한다.

Facial Gender Recognition via Low-rank and Collaborative Representation in An Unconstrained Environment

  • Most available methods of facial gender recognition work well under a constrained situation, but the performances of these methods have decreased significantly when they are implemented under unconstrained environments. In this paper, a method via low-rank and collaborative representation is proposed for facial gender recognition in the wild. Firstly, the low-rank decomposition is applied to the face image to minimize the negative effect caused by various corruptions and dynamical illuminations in an unconstrained environment. And, we employ the collaborative representation to be as the classifier, which using the much weaker $l_2-norm$ sparsity constraint to achieve similar classification results but with significantly lower complexity. The proposed method combines the low-rank and collaborative representation to an organic whole to solve the task of facial gender recognition under unconstrained environments. Extensive experiments on three benchmarks including AR, CAS-PERL and YouTube are conducted to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Compared with several state-of-the-art algorithms, our method has overwhelming superiority in the aspects of accuracy and robustness.

  • 최근 들어 대학들은 취업률에 총력을 기울이고 있다. 특히, 취업분야와 관련한 실무지향적 학과들의 교육과정 및 환경에 대한 논거는 취업이라는 가치관에 그 성과를 측정하고 있는 실정이다. 이는 기업인재 지향적 학습 및 교육이 취업으로 이어지는 결과에서 지인한 것이다. 항공서비스과는 대표적인 예이다. 이에 본 연구는 국내대학 항공서비스과 학생들을 대상으로 물리적 교육환경이 자긍심 및 기업애호도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 분석결과 물리적환경이 높을수록 자긍심이 올라가는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 자긍심은 기업애호도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Many historical research and facet about modern art in Indonesia which formulating background of contemporary Indonesian Art. Indonesian art critic Sanento Yuliman states that Modern art has been rapidly developing in Indonesia since the Indonesian Independence in 1945. Modern Art is a part of the super culture of the Indonesian metropolitan and is closely related to the contact between the Indonesian and Western Cultures. Its birth was part of the nationalism project, when the Indonesian people consists of various ethnics were determined to become a new nation, the Indonesian nation, and they wished for a new culture, and therefore, a new art. The period 1960s, which was the beginning of the creation and development of the painters and the painters associations, was the first stage of the development of modern art in Indonesia. The second stage showed the important role of the higher education institutes for art. These institutes have developed since the 1950s and in the 1970s they were the main education institutes for painters and other artists. The artists awareness of the medium, forms or the organization of shapes were encouraged more intensely and these encouraged the exploring and experimental attitudes. Meanwhile, the information about the world's modern art, particularly Western Art; was widely and rapidly spread. The 1960s and 1970s were marked by the development of various abstractions and abstract art and the great number of explorations in various new media, like the experiment with collage, assemblage, mixed media. The works of the Neo Art Movement-group in the second half of the 1970s and in the 1980s shows environmental art and installations, influenced by the elements of popular art, from the commercial world and mass media, as well as the involvement of art in the social and environmental affairs. The issues about the environment, frequently launched by the intellectuals in the period of economic development starting in the 1970s, echoed among the artists, and they were widened in the social, art and cultural circles. The Indonesian economic development following the important change in the 1970s has caused a change in the life of the middle and upper class society, as has the change in various aspects of a big city, particularly Jakarta. The new genre emerged in 1975 which indicates contemporary art in Indonesia, when a group of young artists organized a movement, which was widely known as the Indonesian New Art Movement. This movement criticized international style, universalism and the long standing debate on an east-west-dichotomy. As far as the actual practice of the arts was concerned the movement criticized the domination of the art of painting and saw this as a sign of stagnation in Indonesian art development. Based on this criticism 'the movement' introduced ready-mades and installations (Jim Supangkat). Takes almost two decades that the New Art Movement activists were establishing Indonesian Installation art genre as contemporary paradigm and influenced the 1980's gene ration like, FX Harsono, Dadang Christanto, Arahmaiani, Tisna Sanjaya, Diyanto, Andarmanik, entering the 1990's decade as "rebellion period" ; reject towards established aesthetic mainstream i.e. painting, sculpture, graphic art which are insufficient to express "new language" and artistic needs especially to mediate social politic and cultural situation. Installation Art which contains open possibilities of creation become a vehicle for aesthetic establishment rejection and social politics stagnant expression in 1990s. Installation art accommodates two major field; first, the rejection of aesthetic establishment has a consequences an artists quest for medium; deconstruction models and cross disciplines into multi and intermedia i.e. performance, music, video etc. Second aspect is artists' social politic intention for changes, both conclude as characteristics of Indonesian Installation Art and establishing the freedom of expression in contemporary Indonesian Art until today.

Experiencing the Art/Craft/Handmade/Studio Furniture Aesthetics in Postmodernism Theoretically (III) -Creating a piece of wood furniture by transforming the Postmodern furniture aesthetics through the interpretation of metaphor-

  • Through this study, I explored a creation of the postmodern furniture aesthetics through the transformation by student's interpretation in experiencing the art/craft/handmade/studio furniture aesthetics in postmodernism theoretically for 'wood culture experience class' or 'wood love experience class' by the Korea Forest Service because the class tends to focus on making simple wood works involved just in the practical part. Qualitative conceptual analysis as the principal methodology was used to achieve the theoretical context in the experience programs. Following the lesson one on defining the postmodern aesthetics in New Design furniture as metaphor and the lesson two on interpreting an aesthetics of art and everyday life with the wood furniture which expresses the metaphorical and symbolical aesthetics appeared as New Design furniture in postmodernism in the previous papers, I developed lesson three on creating an object using eco-friendly materials like wood in transforming an aesthetics of postmodern furniture as the final stage of the study. Therefore, the students will be able to create a piece of eco-friendly wood furniture for our environment as metaphor transformed by his/her perspective regarding a piece of selected New Design furniture.

온라인 콘텐츠 공유플랫폼 'XELF'의 만족도 조사 및 향후 적용방안에 대한 접근방법 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction Survey of the Online Content Sharing Platform 'XELF' and Methods of Application Method)

  • The study has been initiated on the background of rapidly changing environment, and from the perspectives that new ecological systems are continuously generated accordingly in various fields. Recently, ICT platform, which is the platform related to information communication, has drawn much attention, and many tools are being made that can design and implement documents in a specific on-line space by utilizing UI/UX authoring tools for on-line contents sharing platforms which are public platforms for industrial and educational uses. Following these trends, actual building environment for 'XElF', a newly developed on-line contents sharing platform, and actual design proposal for UI/UX authoring tools will be described according to the sequences of building the platform. Before this design proposal is actually utilized in the future, opinions have been collected from related persons through an actual survey. Efforts are being made to reduce problems, which can be generated in the future in the actual on-line contents education environment, through the results of the study so that the platform can be produced without errors. The final results for this matter are planned to be posted by papers in the future.

애니메이션 분야 역량기반 교육을 위한 공간구성 -Walt Disney스튜디오 작업환경과 공간구성 사례를 중심으로 (The Spatial Composition for Animation Competency Education -By Focusing on the Studio Environment and Spatial Composition of Walt Disney)

  • 정보통신기술의 빠른 발전과 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 확대로 인해 관련 실용학문분야는 교육의 내용과 환경에서 새로운 패러다임이 요구되고 있다. 특히, 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 핵심 분야인 애니메이션 교육은 창의와 융합 그리고 실무교육이 중시되며 교육 내용과 방법에서 많은 개선이 시도되었다. 하지만, 기존 컴퓨터실 형태의 획일적 교육 공간은 애니메이션 교육특성을 충분히 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구는 애니메이션 분야 직무 역량과 애니메이션 프로젝트 제작의 특성이 반영된 효율적인 실습교육 공간 구성을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위한 연구의 전개는 첫째, 기존의 애니메이션 교육공간의 한계점에 대해 사례를 통해 분석하고, 그 문제점을 도출한다. 또한, Pre-production, Main-production, Post-production의 세 단계로 구성된 애니메이션 제작의 작업적 특성과 순차적 업무에 따른 여섯 개 세부 직무의 역량에 대해 고찰한다. 둘째, 애니메이션 제작공간의 구성을 파악하기 위해 공간구문론을 차용한 6가지 공간 유형에 대해 고찰한다. 셋째, 애니메이션 제작특성, 세부직무역량 요소, 6가지 공간 유형을 분석 툴로 하여, 애니메이션 제작 스튜디오인 Walt Disney의 작업환경과 공간구성에 대해 사례분석을 진행한다. 다섯째, 문헌연구와 사례연구의 결과를 연계적으로 분석하여 애니메이션 프로젝트 진행을 위한 효과적인 교육 공간 구성의 특성을 도출한다. 본 연구를 통해 프로젝트 실무와 직무역량요소의 특성이 반영된 교육 공간 구성을 제시하는데 의의가 있으리라 사료된다. 또한, 본 사례분석을 통해 애니메이션 교육공간 구성을 일반화 하는데 한계가 있으나, 기존과 차별화된 프로젝트 교육 공간구성을 위한 참고자료로 활용가치가 있으리라 기대한다.

미술치료에서 치료적 동맹과 전문적 역량에 관한 미술치료사의 인식 연구 (Study on the Perception of Art Therapists on the Therapeutic Alliance and Professional competencies in Art Therapy)

  • 본 연구는 미술치료사들의 실제 임상 경험을 통해 치료적 동맹을 촉진하는 미술치료사의 개입 과정 및 전문적 역량 요소들을 탐색하여 미술치료 교육과 미술치료사 수련에 도움이 되는 자료를 제공하려는 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 9명의 미술치료사를 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하였고, 자료 분석은 합의적 질적 분석(CQR)을 사용하여 5개 영역과 41개 범주로 정리되었다. 연구 결과, 치료적 동맹 촉진을 위한 미술치료사의 개입 과정은 치료적 동맹을 위해 기본적으로 고려할 사항과 치료적 동맹을 구성하는 세 가지 차원을 토대로 안전한 환경으로 구조화하는 것을 의미하며, 미술치료사의 전문적인 역량은 치료적 동맹을 위한 미술치료사의 개입 요인들과 상호작용하여 치료적 동맹 효과에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 미술치료사는 치료적 동맹을 촉진하기 위해 임상적인 문제를 가진 독특한 개별 사례를 개념화할 수 있는 능력, 풍부한 임상경험, 미술을 치료적으로 활용할 수 있는 능력, 치료적 대상으로 존재하기 위한 노력 등과 관련된 전문적인 역량 강화가 필요하다고 본다. 본 연구는 미술치료에서 치료적 동맹을 촉진시키기 위한 구조화와 미술치료사의 전문성 강화에 필요한 발달과제들을 도출하여 미술치료사의 교육과 훈련에 활용될 자료를 제시했다는데 의의가 있다.

Integrating Math and Music: Teaching Ideas

  • Mathematical creativity, an important goal in mathematics education, can be promoted through an integrated learning environment where students explore mathematics with other subject areas such as science, technology, engineering and art. Establishing such learning environments is not a trivial task. Therefore, this creates a need for the development of instructional resources promoting meaningful integration. This paper focuses on integration of the fields of mathematics and music. Beginning with some of the historical discoveries and views of the connections between mathematics and music, this paper attends to several musical concepts correlating to middle school mathematical content and then provides ideas for teaching.
