시품의 풍격과 한국 전통건축의 은둔적 사유 (The Style of Categories of Poetry and Seclusive Thinking of Korean Traditional Architecture)

  • In the center of our ancestor's culture, there were poetry, calligraphy, and painting. Above all, poetry was the heart of the culture involved in everyday life. The beauty of poetry was not limited to appreciation of the poetry but it influenced calligraphy, painting, seals, music, architecture and even how the ancestors viewed their lives. Categories of poetry(詩品, CP hereafter) is the poetry written to deliberate the style of poems and its influence went beyond the fields of calligraphy and painting. Even now, our architecture reflects the sentimental influences and values of CP. In order to understand the attitude, mind, and the world view of the architects in the past, comprehensive and deep understanding of their philosophy as well as their cultural and social norms is needed. In this paper, CP is used as the means to investigate and develop such understanding of our ancestors' philosophy and culture. This paper also intends to investigate how the seclusive thinking of Neo-Confucianism is reflected in CP and the overall literature. In addition, this paper aims to examine the trace of CP in traditional architecture as well as the relationships and the flow among various styles of CP. This study therefore serves as an important base in understanding the ancestor's philosophy that pursued balance between life and art, reason and emotion, study and practice, and their architectural expression. It is also expected that this study would work as the groundwork to regain our traditional culture identity.

중학교 재량활동 중 실시한 영양교육의 효과 평가 (Effects of Nutritional Education Program through Discretional Activities in Middle School Students)

  • The effects of a nutritional education program for first grade middle school students were evaluated from August to December, 2006. The study subjects were 82 boys and 90 girls, residing in Gwangju, Korea. To assess the effects of the nutritional education program, pre- and post-questionnaires examining nutritional knowledge, dietary attitudes, and dietary habits were developed. Paired t-test and repeated measures ANOVA were used to evaluate the effects of the nutritional education program. In the general subject, the main after-school activities were studying, watching TV, and using computer (85.5%), and sports (9.3%), suggesting their low physical activity. Parents (46.5%) were indicated as the source of nutritional education rather than teachers (13.4%). Twenty-five percent of girl students had diet experience of skipping meals (54.6%), suggesting the need of proper nutritional education for adolescents' health care. In dietary attitudes, both genders showed some improvement of recognition after education. In the changes in dietary habits, both genders had a significant effect on 'three meals a day, eating breakfast, and regular meal' after education. After education, the rate of having breakfast everyday increased from 52.4% to 65.9% for boys and from 33.3%to 57.8% for girls. In the changes in nutritional knowledge, the appreciation of the importance of school meals increased in both genders from 50.6% to 80.8% after education. The nutritional knowledge, scores of regular eating and well-mannered eating increased in both genders regardless of the students' characteristics. The study results revealed that this education provided an important motivation to improve basic nutritional knowledge and dietary habit. It is recommended to develop systematic and various educational programs and learning materials tailored to subjects before nutritional education.

학생교육문화회관의 공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Composition of the Educational Cultural Center for Students)

  • The Educational Cultural Center for Students is a new mixed-cultural space which made around 1997 for students' education of humanism and talent with the 7th revision of educational course. This Educational Cultural Center for Students is different to the existing one because the subject of the culture is students who make creation and performance by themselves while the former ones were for seeing, hearing and feeling things. There are seven Educational Cultural Center for Students all over the country and will be built more in the future. Comparing to the former Educational Cultural Centers for Students, functional rooms in the Educational Cultural Centers for Students are an outdoor performance room, a large performance room, a small performance room of performance facility, a gallery of display facility, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a fitness room, a table-tennis room of physical facility, a library and a reading room of a book facility, and a group room, a computer room, a singing room, a billiard room, an art room, a musical room, a dancing room, a manner room, a playing room, a cultural lecture room and a seminar room of a interest-activity facility. The result of analyzing the usage frequency is that a performance room has the highest frequency and a display room, a musical room, a music appreciation room and a physical room follow the frequency order. But this frequency does not fit for all area. By place and social situations, the frequency and space organization may be changed.

자유학기제 지원을 위한 통합 주제 중심의 도서관 정보활용교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Development of Libraries' Information Literacy Program based on Integrated Tasks to Support the Free Semester System)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자유학기제에 참여하는 중학생의 탐구학습능력을 길러주기 위하여 교과 간 연계성을 갖는 통합 주제 중심의 정보활용교육 프로그램 개발 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 국가 수준의 2015 개정 교육과정의 내용 요소를 분석하여 중학교 1학년 국어, 사회, 미술, 음악 교과 간 관련성을 갖는 통합 주제 6개를 개발하였다. 통합 주제 지도를 위한 교수 학습지도안은 배경지식 형성하기, 탐구하기, 탐구결과 산출 및 평가하기와 같이 3단계로 구성하였다. 그리고 탐구하기의 세부 활동 과정은 문제인식하기, 정보분석 및 해석하기, 정보종합하기, 활동별 평가하기와 같이 4단계로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 <환경>과 <감상>을 공공도서관과 학교도서관에서 시범 적용하였다. 그 결과 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 다양한 주제를 교과와 연계하여 구성한 프로그램에 흥미를 보였으며, 만족스럽다는 반응을 보였다.

인천 송도4공구 공동주택 외부공간 조성계획 (Landscape Design for the Song-Do Apartment Complex Development)

  • In 2004, the Incheon Urban Development Corporation held a design competition for the Song-Do apartment complex development. Several projects that won the prize in the recent design competitions were reviewed to look around the current design tendency, and current conditions of the site were surveyed. The authors tried to combine digital and environment-friendly factors, considering the site condition. Because the site is on reclaimed land and is located at the center of the information-technology industrial area, these two factors inform the main concept of this project. The site was divided into two different zones : the Ocean Zone and the Digital Zone. The 'community spaces'(community street, community plaza and so on) were designed for the various activities of the residents. The Patios, 'private' community spaces, included many facilities for play, appreciation, rest, exercise, refreshment and gathering. To avoid common landscape styles in the patios, simple and minimal forms were designed. The environmental sculptures were carefully planned, allocated and shaped with digital technology, based on the 'Present and Future of Song-Do'. The authors also tried to introduce environment-friendly factors, such as the green roof system, wall planting, and the water recycling system. This project is following the M.A. (Master Architect) process, and is still being modified to make the hi-tech and environment-friendly apartment complex.

4차 산업혁명 시대 예술·과학 융합 교육프로그램 설계 : 콘텐츠를 활용한 STEAM을 중심으로 (Art Science Convergence Curriculum Design in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era : Focusing on STEAM with Contents)

  • The year 2020 was a time when the coronavirus infections-19 (COVID-19) caused various changes in society. In particular, the fields that have been conducted face-to-face have been greatly confused by the transition to an online non-face-to-face method, and this is the case with the field of education. There are two main advantages of offline education. The first is that we can improve our understanding through communication with teachers, and the second is that we can develop social skills through interaction with friends. But as online classes progressed due to corona 19, interaction could not be achieved. As a result, the motivation for learning has been reduced due to difficulties in real-time feedback, and the participation rate has been significantly lowered, especially in lower grades, raising concerns about the learning gap that will occur after corona 19. However, there are some cases in which online classes were conducted as effectively as offline classes by utilizing various contents. What they have in common is the use of content. Teachers generally improved the quality of education by linking interesting sights and videos that enhance learning comprehension. The provided video conveys learning-related content into stories, enabling intuitive observation. Many students were already enjoying these videos through VOD (Video on Demand) such as TV and YouTube, they were able to connect their easy access to content and interest in learning. Appropriate use of video content has rather increased the learning effect and should continue after corona 19. Therefore, it is necessary to study methodologies that apply video content efficiently to education. This study looked at the steps that needed content application through the development of education programs, and observed its meaning. Students were curious about the content, motivated to learn and participated in learning on their own. Intuitive learning, conducted through appreciation, play and content production, provided an opportunity to learn on their own in everyday life.

Problems of Using Cyberdramaturgy in Modern Foreign Cinematography

  • The article is devoted to the actual problem of the use of digital technologies in modern cinema in developed countries. The purpose of the study is to identify the essence of the term "cyberdramaturgy" and the problems of its use in modern film production. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes the methods of the general scientific group (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction), as well as a number of special methods: the method of content analysis of scientific literature on the research topic; sociological survey method; as well as the method of statistical analysis. The results of the survey were analyzed using the Neural Designer program (a tool for advanced statistical analytics) and translated into a graphical diagram format for clarity of perception. Answers in 75 questionnaires were evaluated by the average score for six analysis criteria, which made it possible to bring all the calculations to a 10-point scale. As a result of the study, the author of the article concluded the following: directors believe that the use of cyber analogues of actors and backgrounds leads to the blurring of genres, the hybridization of cinema and animation; directors are also concerned about the problem of replacing the director himself with a special program. The writers are completely concerned with the problem of machine scripting with almost infinite variability beyond the human imagination. Directors-producers believe that the cyberdramaturgy development will lead to completely new standards of cinematic quality, sharply different from the traditional assessment of acting and scene setting, to the appreciation of 3D animation as the highest category in the art. Such innovations actually devalue all international cinematography awards, as cyberdrama reduces the value of cyberactors to zero. It is impossible to bail out an "Oscar" or a "Golden Globe" award for a digital double or a separate cyber model that is used in the film instead of the actors.

미술교육에 있어서 '노닐음(遊)'에 대한 필요성 연구 - 동양화를 중심으로 - (A Study on Needs of 'Strolling (Yu)' at the Fine Arts Education - Focused on Oriental Painting -)

  • 본 논문은 도가(道家)의 대표적 철학자인 "장자(莊子)"의 "소요유(逍遙遊)"에 제시된 '유(遊)'란 개념이 미술교육에서 필요한 것인지를 연구하였다. 우선 장자의 '유(遊)' 개념과 미술교육의 배경 및 필요성을 정의하고, 동양미술에서 활용된 '유(遊)'의 의미를 미학적으로 분석하여 오늘날 '유(遊)' 개념이 현대동양미술교육에 응용되고 표현될 수 있는지 탐색하는데 역점을 두었다. 논문의 전개 중 제2장은 장자의 철학적 '노닐음(유(遊))'의 개념 및 사유, 제3장은 미술교육의 배경 및 필요성을 연구하였다. 제4장은 장자의 노닐음(유(遊))'을 통한 동양화실기교육 접근을 연구하였다. 우선 노닐음(유(遊))'을 통한 동양화실기교육 접근을 2장에서 연구된 사유방법으로서 공간개념인 '허실(虛實)'과 표현기법으로 '필묵(筆墨)', 작가의 정신적 화면의 경지는 '사의(寫意)'로써 각각 분석 연구하였다. 첫째, '유(遊)'와 동양화의 상호관계성을 허실(虛實)의 조형이념으로 고찰 했을 때, 허(虛)는 그외 대상이 본질로 드러난 실(實)의 부분으로 하여금 감상자들에게 연상과 암시, 상상을 불러일으켜 예술가가 표현하고자 하는 적극적인 잊음(유(遊))의 경계를 뜻하므로 '허(虛)'는 '유(遊)'와 서로 같은 경계의 맥락이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 허(虛)와 실(實)은 조형 활동의 경험을 통하여 표현 및 감상 능력을 길러, 창조성을 계발하고 정서를 함양시켜 미술교육에서 필요성이 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 필묵으로 음(陰)과의 양(陽)의 걍약으로 신(神), 기(氣)(심제(心齊)), 전신(傳神), 사의(寫意)등을 각각의 예술적 경지를 표현하는 것이다. 따라서 필묵은 형사(形似)와 사의적(寫意的)적인 예술형상의 창조까지 연계되어 있는 중요한 것이다. 따라서 정신적 '노닐음'의 경계를 통한 자유로움은 사유에 의한 표현 할 수 있는 창조력과 자연 감상능력 및 미적 문화의 가치를 판단할 수 있는 교육을 탄생시킬 수 있는 것이다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때, 미적 안목의 육성, 창의성 계발, 감성능력의 함양, 조형능력의 함양 등의 인성교육으로 복합적인 미적 논리가 다양한 현대미술 속에서 동양미술교육의 정체성을 지킬 수 있는 하나의 방법론이라 본다.

전통화조화의 사실적(寫實的) 표현과 시정적(詩情的) 색채표현 (A Study on Lyricism Expression of Color & Realistic Expression reflected in Oriental Painting of flower & birds)

  • Colors change in time corresponding with the value system and aesthetic consciousness of the time. The roles that colors play in painting can be divided into the formative role based on the contrast and harmony of color planes and the aesthetic role expressed by colors to represent the objects. The aesthetic consciousness of the orient starts with the Civility(禮) and Pleasure(樂), which is closely related with restrained or tempered human feelings. In the art world of the orient including poem, painting, and music, what are seen and felt from the objects are not represented in all. Added by the sentiment laid background, the beauty of the orient emphasizes the beauty of restraint and temperance, which has long been the essential aesthetic emotion of the orient. From the very inception of oriental painting, colors had become a symbolic system in which the five colors associated with the philosophy of Yin and Yang and Five Forces were symbolically connected with the four sacred animals of Red Peacock, Black Turtle, Blue Dragon, and White Tiger. In this color system the use of colors was not free from ideological matters, and was further constrained by the limited color production and distribution. Therefore, development in color expression seemed to have been very much limited because of the unavailability and unreadiness of various colors. Studies into the flow in oriental painting show that color expression in oriental painting have changed from symbolic color expression to poetic expression, and then to emotional color expression as the mode of painting changes in time. As oriental painting transformed from the art of religious or ceremonial purpose to one of appreciation, the mast visible change in color expression is the one of realism(simulation). Rooted on the naturalistic color expression of the orient where the fundamental properties of objects were considered mast critical, this realistic color expression depicts the genuine color properties that the objects posses, with many examples in the Flower & Bird Painting prior to the North Sung dynasty. This realistic expression of colors changed as poetic sentiments were fused with painting in later years of the North Sung dynasty, in which a conversion to light ink and light coloring in the use of ink and colors was witnessed, and subjective emotion was intervened and represented. This mode of color expression had established as free and creative coloring with vivid expression of individuality. The fusion of coloring and lyricism was borrowed from the trend in painting after the North Sung dynasty which was mentioned earlier, and from the trend in which painting was fused with poetic sentiments to express the emotion of artists, accompanied with such features as light coloring and compositional change. Here, the lyricism refers to the artist's subjective perspective of the world and expression of it in refined words with certain rhythm, the essence of which is the integration of the artist's ego and the world. The poetic ego projects the emotion and sentiment toward the external objects or assimilates them in order to express the emotion and sentiment of one's own ego in depth and most efficiently. This is closely related with the rationale behind the long-standing tradition of continuous representation of same objects in oriental painting from ancient times to contemporary days. According to the thoughts of the orient, nature was not just an object of expression, but recognized as a personified body, to which the artist projects his or her emotions. The result is the rebirth of meaning in painting, completely different from what the same objects previously represented. This process helps achieve the integration and unity between the objects and the ego. Therefore, this paper discussed the lyrical expression of colors in the works of the author, drawing upon the poetic expression method reflected in the traditional Flower and Bird Painting, one of the painting modes mainly depending on color expression. Based on the related discussion and analysis, it was possible to identify the deep thoughts and the distinctive expression methods of the orient and to address the significance to prioritize the issue of transmission and development of these precious traditions, which will constitute the main identity of the author's future work.

동양회화의 경영위치(經營位置)에 의한 여백(餘白)의 미(美) 연구(硏究) (A study on the beauty of space by overall arrangement and composition of a picture in Oriental painting)

  • 본 논문은 동양회화(東洋繪畵)에 있어서 경영위치(經營位置)에 의한 여백(餘白)의 미(美)를 두 가지 관점(觀點)에서 고찰하였다. 첫째, 화면구성(畵面構成)의 일환인 경영위치(經營位置)로 드러나는 여백(餘白)의 처리 방법에 대한 기존의 방법론을 사료(史料)를 통하여 분석(分析)하여 체계적으로 정리하였으며, 둘째, 여백(餘白)의 미(美)에 대한 전통적(傳統的) 관점과 본인의 관점을 비교하여 그 차이점을 파악(把握)하였다. 대부분의 선행연구(先行硏究)와 자료(資料)는 여백(餘白)의 운영(運營)과 표현방법이 거의 수묵(水墨), 산수화(山水畵)에 집중되어 있었기 때문에 본인은 채색(彩色)위주의 작업을 하면서 여러 조형요소 가운데 사물간의 구성 및 색채(色彩)간의 조화(調和)를 통한 화면공간의 운용문제에 대해 연구하였으며, 동양회화의 회면구성을 담당하는 경영위치(經營位置) 요소 가운데 여백(餘白)의 미(美)를 새롭게 평가하고 인식(認識)하는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다. 수묵화(水墨畵)와 달리 채색화(彩色畵) 분야에서 제대로 인식(認識)되지 못했던 여백(餘白)의 운용에 대한 표현성의 확대와 그 의미를 살펴보았으며 이를 통해 표현기법이나 표현 언어 측면에서 공통점을 갖는 다른 예술분야(藝術分野)와 연계(連繫)하여 연구 분석함으로써 여백(餘白)의 표현과 그 감상의 경계가 결코 회화(繪畵) 한 분야에만 국한되지 않음을 연구하였다. 여백(餘白)의 개념(槪念) 및 표현방법에서는 여백(餘白)과 공간(空間)의 기본개념을 탐구하고 분석하면서 동양사상(東洋思想) 속에 나타나는 여백개념(餘白槪念)을 정리하였고 경영위치(京營位置)의 형성과 변천을 정리하고 원개념(遠槪念)을 정리하였다. 본인은 작품창작에 있어서 사물의 본질(本質)을 파악하여 표현하기 위한 방법으로 형사적인 측면과 신사적(神似的)인 측면을 함께 고려하였다. 형사적(形似的)인 측면에 해당하는 드러난 형상의 표현은 대체로 격물치지적(格物致知的) 측면을 고려하였으며, 사의적(寫意的) 측면에 해당하는 무형(無形)의 형(形)은 창작 주체의 정신과 합일되는 '물화(物化)'의 경지에 이르고자 노력하였다. 그 안에 내재된 정신성을 표출하기 위하여 장자(莊子)가 제시한 '심제(心齊)'와 '좌망(坐忘)'의 경계를 추구하면서 정신적 수양의 경지에 이르고자 하였다. 정신적 수양이 작품 속에 투영될 때 화면에 외형적인 형태와 더불어 내재된 본질도 함께 전달될 수 있으며 화면 속에 표현된 형상(形象)의 이미지는 현실에서 체득(體得)한 심미적 경험(經驗)을 바탕으로 하는 것이라 보았다. 본 논문은 역대(歷代) 화가(畵家)들과 이론가들이 남긴 역사적(歷史的) 유산(遺産)들을 근거(根據)로 전통(傳統)을 계승(繼承)하고 변호시켜 재창조(再創造)함으로써 본인 작품의 정체성(整體性)을 확립해야 한다는 사실을 알게 되었다. 본인이 추구하고 지향(指向)하는 작품세계의 정체성(整體性)을 확립하기 위해서 전통(傳統)과 현대(現代)를 창조적(創造的)인 방법으로 융화(融和)시켜 향후 작품의 방향성(方向成)을 찾고자 하였다.
