지하공간건설정보모델링(GeoBIM) 기반의 디지털 트윈 구축사례에 관한 연구 - 제주도 재암천굴, 정구수굴 사례를 중심으로 - (A case study of digital twin construction based on geospatial building information modeling (GeoBIM) - Focusing on the case of Jaeamcheon-gul and Jeonggusu-gul in Jeju Island -)

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, smart construction is actively researched, in the domestic construction field, and one of the key elements in this field is Building Information Modeling(BIM). In Korea, smart construction is being implemented through BIM-based digitization and intelligence. The geotechnical engineering field should also prepare for the introduction of BIM. In this study, the concept and application status of GeoBIM were identified, and the direction of future research was presented. This study is a part of the study "Establishment of GeoBIM-based Digital Twin Maintenance System" in the current "Technology Development for Establishment of Jeju Ground Collapse Response System for Safe Road Operation". The subject and scope of the study is continuous excavation at caves located under roads in Jeju Island, and initial research is being conducted on Jaeamcheon-gul and Jeonggusu-gul. This study aims to build a digital twin through individual data construction and integration processes such as cave shape modeling using laser scanners, 3D stratum modeling using borehole information and geophysical exploration data, and modeling of surrounding conditions using drones.

역해석 기법을 이용한 지하굴착공사의 시공관리에 관한 현장사례연구 (A Field Case Research by Construction Management of Underground Excavation Construction Using Inverse Analysis Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 도심지 지하굴착시 많이 시행하고 있는 역해석기법에 의하여 최종변위를 예측하고 계측자료와 비교 분석함으로써. 굴착도중 역해석 기법의 효율성을 극대화 시키고, 동일한 조건의 현장에서 경제적이고 효과적인 시공관리가 이루어 질 수 있도록 하고자 한다. 첫 번째 단계로 역해석 기법을 적용한 현장을 사례로 제시하고 시공과 계측이 완료된 3군데의 다른 현장에 역해석 기법을 적용하였다. 두 곳 현장에서는 만족할 만한 결과를 도출하였으나 한 군데 현장에서는 해석치와 계측치와의 많은 차이를 보였다. 분석결과는, 역해석 조건과 굴착시공조건을 최대한 일치시켜야 하고, 지하연속벽이 강성의 연속벽체라 할지라도 RANKINE 토압조건과 상이하게 굴착하부의 변위가 크게 발생되는 조건에서는 토압의 전이현상으로 토압의 균등화가 이루어지기 때문에 삼각형 형태의 RANKINE 토압 적용성에 대한 신중한 제고가 필요하다. 그리고 토질정수 재산정시 풍화대의 점착력과 지하수위의 경험적 고려가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

  • Top-Down Construction Method has been considered as the steadiest and the most reasonable method of construction since 1984 when it was applied to LG Da-Dong building and its usage in the field construction has since grown rapidly. With increased cases, engineers not only pursue their studies of R & D continuously but also develop various technical methods based on Top-Down Construction in an era of rapid technological change to adopt them to the field construction. Top-Down Construction meets the needs of these challenging points, such as reduction and eliminates of temporary equipment for supporting permanent structures on the ground, improved method of construction, shortening construction periods, cost reduction, and allows for minimal environmental impact.

Investigation of Field Construction and Economic Efficiency for Steel Plate-Concrete Structures with Application of Parking Building

  • The SC structure can have relatively liberal sectional surfaces, and allows modularization for pre-forming in factories and structural stability. It can be used for the shear walls in the core of general buildings or the structural members for parking buildings. In the future, it could be applied to moving large bus terminals, and widely used for general industrial structures as it can expedite the process compared to other methods. This study examined the applicability of SC structures to the retaining walls of a parking building and reviewed its economic value by comparing its construction term, quality control benefits, and cost compared to RC structures. It was found that SC structures are about 1.6-1.7 times more expensive than RC structures in terms of the cost of fabrication and installation. However, the construction term can be reduced by 27% to save indirect costs for constructors, as well as the cost of removing molds and material loss required when installing RC structures.

서중환경에서 표면피복 양생재 종류변화가 콘크리트의 초기 온도이력 및 균열발생에 미치는 영향에 관한 현장적용성 평가 (Field Application to Evaluate the Effect of Various Surface Covered Curing Blankets on Temperature Profile and Crack Occurrence of the Concrete under Hot Weather Condition)

  • Concrete placed under hot weather condition suffers from larger slump loss, rapid moisture evaporation due to high air temperature. Proper measures for material, transportation and curing should be taken to prevent the quality deterioration of the concrete under hot weather condition. In Korea, Although the period of hot weather concrete in Korea occupies only 2 months, there are a lot of quality problems including plastic, drying shrinkage and cold joint. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to investigate and compare the temperature history and crack occurrence of the concrete, which was placed in the actual apartment house construction field under hot weather condition, in response to the application of surface covered curing blankets including PE film, single layer clear bubble sheet, white colored bubble sheet and aluminum metalized bubble sheet. Test results indicated that the application of white colored bubble sheet and aluminum metalized bubble sheet showed most favorable results in terms of reduction in temperature rise and crack occurrence as well as easiness in handling. But, due to light reflection by aluminum metalized bubble sheet, it is believed that white colored bubble sheet is preferable.

  • Urethane, epoxy, acrylic have common property to adhere on the concrete dried surface in the waterproofing materials at present. In the wet condition, however, the materials such as urethane, epoxy, acrylic need a long hardening time and it become a reason of water leakage as the materials breaking down. it is one of the problem to adhere to the substrate. Therefore, in this thesis, I focused to assure the structural safety and durability and quality for waterproofing and safe of construction cost by cut down the cost of labor and reduce the term of works as searching the application of field condition for high adhesive spray type of degenerated and rubberized asphalt membrane material.

  • 금속 물체의 내부 상태를 조사하기 위하여 사용되고 있는 여러 가지 비파괴 조사법들은 콘크리트 재료의 불균질성으로 인하여 콘크리트 물체에의 적용에는 한계가 있다 충격반향법은 물성의 변화가 존재하는 경계면이나 결함 부위에서 반사되는 탄성파의 공진 주파수를 이용하는 비파괴 조사법으로서 콘크리트 구조물의 내부 상태를 파악하기 위하여 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 충격반향법의 현장 적용을 위한 자료획득 시스템을 구축하였고 여러 가지 조건하에서 현장 시험을 수행하였다. 콘크리트 구조물의 두께 및 결함, 공동 존재 여부, 옹벽 뒷채움 상태와 터널 라이닝의 두께 및 결함, 그리고 활주로의 포장 두께 및 결함등의 조사를 위하여 충격반향법을 적용하였다. $10\%$ 이하의 오차 범위내에서 결과를 제공함으로써 충격반향법의 토목분야에서의 활용 가능성이 입증되었다.

  • Military camps deal with various types of explosives. For instance, military engineering unit conducts education and training for laying landmines. However, in case of land mine craters installed with regular-level RC, structural safety may be in danger thus there is a necessity to utilize High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Cement Composites (HPFRCC), which has high functionality in protection and blast resistance. Therefore, in this research we conducted an field application of land mine crater of HPFRCC, using the existing optimal fiber mixing ratio and ERCO addition ratio.

Support Vector Machine Model to Select Exterior Materials

  • Choosing the best-performance materials is a crucial task for the successful completion of a project in the construction field. In general, the process of material selection is performed through the use of information by a highly experienced expert and the purchasing agent, without the assistance of logical decision-making techniques. For this reason, the construction field has considered various artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to support decision systems as their own selection method. This study proposes the application of a systematic and efficient support vector machine (SVM) model to select optimal exterior materials. The dataset of the study is 120 completed construction projects in South Korea. A total of 8 input determinants were identified and verified from the literature review and interviews with experts. Using data classification and normalization, these 120 sets were divided into 3 groups, and then 5 binary classification models were constructed in a one-against-all (OAA) multi classification method. The SVM model, based on the kernel radical basis function, yielded a prediction accuracy rate of 87.5%. This study indicates that the SVM model appears to be feasible as a decision support system for selecting an optimal construction method.

  • The ultimate objective of this research is to develop the technologies for the construction of 100-year housing as the first task for improving housing environments. The technological development of 100-year housing makes it possible to advance construction technologies and part development, to develop long-life housing with durability and Flexibility responding to customers' needs for future living space. At first, for this purpose, the applications according to the types of the Standard Model of Long-life Housing are proposed to respond to the life-cycle of near-future demographic and social structure, and the construction of the Mock-up House execute based on the location selected during the 2nd year and the basic plan. Then the Standard Model of Long-life Housing are advanced and proposed through evaluating the field applicability of the Mock-Up House.
