  • DASE(DTV Application Software Environment)는 ATSC의 지상파 방송 표준으로 한국에서는 월드컵과 아시안게임을 거쳐 현재까지 시험방송 중에 있다. 국내에서는 주요한 데이터전송 방식으로 데이터 carousel 프로토콜을 사용하고 있는데, 지금까지는 전송되는 파일의 이름과 content type에 관한 정보가 DST(Data Service Table)에 들어가 있었으나, ATSC 표준이 변경됨에 따라 이 정보가 DII(Download Info Indication)[2]의 descriotor로 위치가 변경되었다. 이로 인해 DII에 삽입해야 하는 데이터의 양이 증가하여 하나의 DII에 삽입 가능한 모듈의 개수가 감소되었고 전송량이 증가하게 되었는데, 본 논문은 base URI와 default content type을 통해 이러한 제약을 완화할 수 있는 방식에 대해 ATSC S13에 제안한 내용을 토대로 기술하였다.

An Efficient Identity-Based Deniable Authenticated Encryption Scheme

  • Deniable authentication protocol allows a sender to deny his/her involvement after the protocol run and a receiver can identify the true source of a given message. Meanwhile, the receiver has no ability to convince any third party of the fact that the message was sent by the specific sender. However, most of the proposed protocols didn't achieve confidentiality of the transmitted message. But, in some special application scenarios such as e-mail system, electronic voting and Internet negotiations, not only the property of deniable authentication but also message confidentiality are needed. To settle this problem, in this paper, we present a non-interactive identity-based deniable authenticated encryption (IBDAE) scheme using pairings. We give the security model and formal proof of the presented IBDAE scheme in the random oracle model under bilinear Diffie-Hellman (BDH) assumption.

  • Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) is expected to be a major application on the Internet in the future This paper propose an approach to VoIP that uses Differentiated Service and Multi-protocol Label Switching(MPLS) to provide quantitative QoS guarantees over an IP network. An algorithm that determines QoS-constrained routes is proposed and a framework that uses such an algorithm for traffic engineering is outlined. the key component of this framework is a Centralize Resource Manager(CRM) responsible for monitoring and managing resources within the network and making all decisions to route/reroute traffic according to QoS requirement

  • We propose a specific ubiquitous sensor network (USN) architecture as a promising candidate of the future telemedicine model which offers the patient's mobility and more cost-efficient medical care system. This new USN architecture is a kind of cell-based secure sensor network supporting encrypted multi-casting communications and it has a hybrid routing protocol by adapting flat routing to hierarchical routing. For the patient's privacy and the protection of patient's vital information from eavesdropping, we adopt a lightweight PKI-based secure communication protocol with some formal presentation on its core procedure.

  • In this paper, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE(Network Interface Equipment) which is exclusive of an operating system is implemented and the applied example to a step motor motion controller is then explained. The microcontroller TCP/IP NIE supplies a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) as well as basic TCP/IP network protocols. So, the automatic setting up of the Dynamic If(Internet Protocol) is possible. To implement a control of a system with an internet, the microcontroller TCP/IP NIE is applied to a step motor motion controller and a step motor is then controlled with a Microsoft Windows-based Telnet application program.

  • 정보통신 분야의 급격한 발달은 다양한 프로토콜을 지원하는 통신 시스템의 개발 주기를 더욱 빠르게 하고 있으며, 통신 프로토콜의 체계적인 분석과 재사용성 및 확장성을 고려한 시스템의 모델링 방법에 대한 필요성을 증가시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 방안으로 객체지향 방법을 이용한 프로토콜의 시스템 모델링 및 설계 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)의 WTP를 객체지향 모델링 언어인 UML과 통신 시스템의 명세서를 작성하고 설계하는 표준화된 언어인 SDL을 이용하여 분석하고 설계하였다.

  • This Paper suggests the cooperation scenarios between Diameter protocol and Mobile IPv6 protocol. First, this paper designs cooperation scenarios and designs mobility support technology based on the designed scenarios. This paper deanes the interfaces between mobile node and local AAA client using ICMPv6 messages. In addition, this paper designs handoff procedures according to the area, which mobile node moves to.

  • As wireless sensor network are being deployed in a wide variety of application areas, the number of sensor nodes in a sensor filed becomes larger and larger. In the past, ISP (In-System Programming) method have been generally used for code update but the large number of sensor nodes requires a new code update method called network reprogramming. There are many challenging issues for network reprogramming since it can make an impact on the network lifetime. In this paper, a new sender selection scheme for network reprogramming protocol is proposed to decrease energy consumption for code update by minimizing overlapped area between sender nodes and reducing data contention. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the amount of message traffic and the overall data transmission time.

  • 본 논문에서는 VoIP를 이용한 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 네트워크 프로토콜인 VoIP와 SIP를 이용하여 영상통화 어플리케이션을 제작하고자 한다. SIP 프록시서버를 이용하여 송/수신자간에 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 사용하여 음성은 물론 영상까지 통화 가능한 어플리케이션이다. 또한, 본 시스템에서는 더 나아가서 송/수신자간의 통화전에 사전에 계약한 광고주의 광고들을 보여줌으로써 광고수익을 창출 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

  • LTE-R(Long Term Evolution-Railway) based on LTE technology is expected to use core communication technology for high speed railway as one of standards for railway communications. In this paper, transmission performance of video traffic as an application is analyzed on LTE-R networks. Performance is evaluated with compter simulation based NS(Network Simulator)-2, open video traffic is used, RTP(Real Time Protocol) is used for transmission protocol. Results and methods of this paper can be used for research and developmemt of LTE-R networks.
