This study presents an application of object-oriented methodology for structural dcsign process. A prototype system of integrated a structural design system is developed by introducing a structural analysis object model(SAOM) and structural design object model(SDOM). The SAOM module. which is modeled as a part of structural member, performs structural analysis using FEM approach and the SDOM module checks structural members based on Korea steel design standard. Recently, construction project has greatly increased the needs for cost savings due to excessive competition and economic recession. The purpose of this study is to introduce application of building using optimal design technique for improving constructability and economic efficiency of structural wall. As a results, design results of irregular wall show about 15% reduction of the longitudinal bar compared to single walls and ultimately improve constructability.

Considering the globalization and the development of regional culture, culture and design become more and more closely connected. It is obvious that every country, based on politics, economy, society, industry, has a different understanding to the design. With the popularity of mobile phone, it has been in close contact with our lives. Mobile phone is changing our way of life, it also has become a culture, and is reflected in a period in different countries and different ethnic's cultural traditions and lifestyle. In this paper, the study is about the impact of culture on mobile telephone design and application, especially for appearance and input for mobile telephone.

The purpose of this study is to develop a method of applying response surface analysis to trade-off techniques for the conceptual design of armored vehicle. The problem areas of concern are the use of this method in the selection of optimum design points when user requirements are in conflict. The application of this method to trade-offs of performance parameters in terms of weight are presented.

It is important factor; understand definition and concept, grasp application method and property about transparency for expression of skin in design of retail space. This research do target; clarify the feature of transparency for expression of skin in modern retail space, and it is based in these viewpoint that analyze the feature through an experiment of image estimation(SD method) into object to modern retail space that express transparency of skin.

This study suggested practical application of climate design on apartment complex with the focus on the use of Cold Air Flow and green building design method. The domestic research on the wind path analysis has been associated since the early 21th century in urban planning and site planning, this initiative study aimed to mitigate the urban heat island effect and to promote the sustainable urban development. It is, however, mostly focused on the flow analysis and heat flow in the urban context, due to the poor application of the wind path analysis in actual planning and design. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of identifying and developing the application methods in relation to Cold Air Flow and building design. This study examined these relations and suggested some trenchant approach to a more comprehensive and efficient use of the wind flow analysis in climate design.
