As a preliminary study for the application of robots in electrical power company, several case studies in foreign countries, such as a substation patrol robot, a robot for nuclear power facilities, an insulator cleaning robot and a robot system for live-distribution line works, have been carried out for the application of robots. Various application fields, application-related problems, technical difficulties, and the feasibility of applications are studied.

This paper describes a model-based software development methodology for AUTOSAR-ready light software architecture(AUTOSAR-Lite). The proposed methodology briefly represents an application software modeling technique using Matlab/Simulink. Using the proposed technique, application software architecture elements (e.g. software components, runnables, and interfaces) and functional behaviors can be designed in a single modeling environment. From the designed model, the codes of application software is automatically generated using Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder. The generated application software is easily integrated with hand-coded basic software using the proposed method. In order to evaluate the proposed methodology, a diesel engine management system for a passenger car was employed as a case study. Based on the methodology, 8 atomic software components and 52 runnables are successfully developed, and they are evaluated by engine experiments. From this case study, AUTOSAR compatible model-based application software was successfully developed, and the effectiveness of the proposed methodology was evaluated.

치열해지는 글로벌 시장에서 국내 기업들도 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 기업의 경영전략과 연계된 선제적 해외 특허출원 및 확보 전략의 수립은 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 해외출원 경험이 있는 바이오생명, 제조업, 정보통신업, 정보서비스업의 중견, 중소, 창업 기업의 기술 혁신형 기업을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 수행하였다. 기업의 내·외부 환경에 따른 출원루트 선정, 출원국선정, 비용절감방안, 대리인활용, 심사청구 시기 조정에 대한 해외특허출원전략을 분석함으로써 해외시장진출을 고려하는 기업의 해외출원 전략수립의 방향성을 제시하였다.

ASP (Application service provider) as a new type of information systems service has been popular recently and has taken a much attention of information systems professionals and researchers. One stream of the research on ASP performed by IS community dealt with utilization and benefits of ASP systems use. The other researchers argue the importance of ASP vendors' capability to provide users with appropriate services. Kern, Lacity and Willcock (2002) summarized the components of core competency of service providers based on their extensive case studies on application service providers. Also, Levina and Ross (2003) developed a value delivery process of application service Providers in their case study This study is developing Prepositions and an empirical model based on the theory of core competency from strategic management study. The dimension of core competency is composed of management competency, technical service competency and customer service competency. Each dimension is made up of competency items derived from previous studies and adapted by professionals in ASP industry. The validity of the dimensions and items in each dimension has been checked with factor analytic method for empirical test. The core competency dimensions are correlated with performance factors of application service providers including growth of revenue, asset and customer base.

In these days, the PCs are widely used in the mid-level factory. But they have low-effectiveness for using them. The main reason should be the lack of useful and practical software in the market. This Case study aimed at the support of the software using DB Language to get M/M chart for aquiring work study and standard time data in the mid-level factory having multi-item and multi-process type. CVA (Chronocycle Video Analysis) is applied to get basic standard time data and working list. Standard time, Sequence of working and allowance time or rate for man and machine will be readily obtained through the menu when the software executing. Detailed program list is systematically shown in Appendix.

Root coverage can be an efficacious treatment not only in aspect of dental symptoms like root caries and hypersensitivity, but also in aspect of esthetic problem. There are several predictable methods for gaining a connective tissue attachment to an exposed root surface. Among them, this case report will deal with three cases using enamel matrix derivative and connective tissue graft to recover esthetic and physiological periodontal environment and its form. This case report deals with three patients with gingival recession which has occurred by different causes. They were treated with de-epithelialized graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative. 6-12 months later, all three patients showed considerable root coverage and clinically stable condition of healing. In conclusion, within the limitation of this study, de-epithelialized connective tissue graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative shows stable and clinical acceptable results in aspect of root coverage.

Since the primary purpose of information Engineering focuses on transaction or operation processing, various information needs acquired in Information Strategy Planning phase are not properly utilized from the viewpoint of decision support systems development. In this research, we suggest a case-based reasoning application that supports initial Data Warehouse Modeling by expanding the activities in Information Strategy Planning.

An Application of the Extended Iversen-Tsuji Theorem As an immediate consequence of the extended Iversen-Tsuji Theorem. We have presented a result on the boundary behavior of analytic functions on a simply connected domain. It is shown that F. Bagemihl's result for the case of capacity 0 can be obtained as a special case of $\frac{1}{2}$-dimensional Hausdorff measure zero.

In this study, I discussed the overview of smart phone and the direction of the development, and analysed the case study of the smart phone application which is recently developed in domestic and international door-to-door service company. Through this analysis, I suggest the main topic of the vitalization of smart phone and the strategic direction of the practical use in logistic industry.

Hopfield neural network has been applied to the problem of economic load dispatch(ELD) of electric power. The optimum values of neuron potentials are represented in terms of large numbers. The differential synchronous transition mode is used in this simulation. Through case studies, we have shown the possibility of the application of neural network to ELD. In case of including the transmission losses, the proposed method has an advantage that the problem can be solved simply with one neural network, without calculating incremental fuel costs and incremental losses required by traditional method.
