The Korean construction market and housing policy have been increasingly focusing on supplier. As opposed to houses in private areas, Apartment House using the common infrastructure such as elevators, electrical facilities, heating system and hot water supply system need joint management. Their management usually depends on the resident cooperation or outsourcing. On this study, I investigated the level of satisfaction of Apartment House residents and its managing personnel, the conditions of its management, and analysed the important factors which influence the degree of residence satisfaction with respect to its maintenance and management.

In this study, As a basic research for improving indoor thermal environment at tower type apartment houses, specifications of heat storage and heat emission in the structures of apartment houses were investigated, and the ratio of indoor and outdoor air velocity at tower type apartment house was examined, too. Indoor temperature at night time was higher than outdoor air temperature because heat emission from the structure of wall, ceiling and floor those are constructed by use of reinforced concrete which has large heat capacity. The ratio of indoor and outdoor air velocity was lower than 0.1 and this was caused by the plan of tower type apartment house. PMV was in the range of 0.3~1.9, and was about 1.0 (it means slightly warm) at 10 : 00 p.m.. To improve indoor thermal environment in summer season at tower type apartment houses, it needs more investigation on specifications of heat storage and heat emission in the structure including winter season, and on the improvement of the ratio of indoor and outdoor air velocity.

The purpose of this study was to make clear the indoor environmental efficiency of front balcony 'in apartment houses during winter. The field measurements of indoor environmental elements were carried out at an ordinary house with an existing front balcony and a house renovated the front balcony into the living room. The measurements in two-subject houses were taken on simultaneously the 20$^{th}$ ${\sim}$ 21$^{th}$ of January 2003. As results, the averages indoor temperature in the ordinary house and the renovated house were same as 23.6${\circ}$C, and the averages globe temperature in two houses were same as 23.7${\circ}$C. But, estimated heating time of the renovated house was longer than that of the ordinary house. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the renovated house were wider than the ordinary house. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the renovated house was longer than that of the ordinary house. The uniformity ratio range of daylight in the ordinary house were calculated at 1/3.4${\sim}$1/6.2, but those of the renovated house were 1/6${\sim}$1/16.2. Therefore. it was found that indoor temperature, globe temperature and uniformity ratio of daylight in the ordinary house maintained more constant than the renovated house by green house effect and earning effect of front balcony.

Lately Construction industry tends to prefer remodeling of existing building rather then new construction or reconstruction of buildings due to strengthening of several restriction related to real estates along with prolonged depression. Specially in case of Apartment houses, since vagueness on ownership and management authority on common part exists. So in this study we are to present the procedure of analyzing apartment house remodeling method through user request by approaching to several considerable factors in user request side.

The purpose of this survey is to find out the problems in lighting conditions of Korean residence and bring up the improvement direction. 120 households were chosen at random among independent house and apartment house in Taejon for this survey.The results are as follows; 1) The illumination of apartment houses are 2/3 of the recommended illuminalion and that of Independent houses are 1/2 of the recommended. Thus, apartment houses have better lighting condition. 2) 7he average illumination level is improving, but it still does not reach the recommended level. Therefore, the considerable plan to maintain proper lighting levels and suit to the 1;ghting purposes is required.

In this study, the high performance silicone was developed to assure the inter-layer joint in apartment house. The tensile strength, the elongation, the bond strength and the fatigue tests were conducted. As a result, it was confirmed that the performance of high -performance silicone was superior to the existing elastic paint. Therefore, it is expected that it will help to secure the quality of inter-layer joints in apartment houses.

In this study, the performance evaluation of waterproof sealant materials applied to the outer wall of PC apartment houses was conducted. The sealant for PC members must have resistance to movement, and since it is exposed to outside air, weather resistance and water resistance are required.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of the eco-friendly factors on the apartment housing price rise and to suggest the desirable way of marketing strategy for apartment housing. For the analysis, the data of apartment sites in Seoul had been collected from September 2006 to February 2007. The data consisted of 95 apartment sites in Seoul. Data were analyzed with descriptives, crosstabs, and discriminant analysis by SPSS/PC for Window. Following result was obtained. The eco-friendly apartment housing price rate in Seoul was determined by eco-friendly landscape, green space rate, house unit size, installment sale price per pyeong, floor space index, distance from subway station when it was not considered the impact of building age, construction company's brand, and autonomous districts. Findings of this research can provide valuable information for marketing strategy of housing construction company.

The chief aim of this study is to prepare the rational alternative plan of the environmental friendly intoner design which can improve sick house syndrome of an apartment house and clarify future-development and the method proposal of use activation and point out the present problem depended to investigate development and the use actual condition of domestic environmental friendly interior materials related in-and-outside-the-country example on a foundation about the various precedence researches on environmental friendly interior materials. The study was witten at first the concept of the environmental interior design which leads environmental friendly charactenstics of material, a interior design, and construction, at the first in the conceptual definition of sick house syndrome. and then it was introduced the present condition of domestic environmental interior materials, interior design and construction and an environmental regulation and standard of in-and-outside-the-country In Conclusion, it may try to present comprehensive analysis and an expansive alternative plan.
