Ranging Performance for Spoofer Localization using Receiver Clock Offset

  • In this paper, the performance of ranging measurement, which is generated using two receiver clock offsets in one receiver, was analyzed. A spoofer transmits a counterfeited spoofing signal which is similar to the GPS signal with hostile purposes, so the same tracking technique can be applied to the spoofing signal. The multi-correlator can generate two receiver clock offsets in one receiver. The difference between these two clock offsets consists of the path length from the spoofer to the receiver and the delay of spoofer system. Thus, in this paper, the ranging measurement was evaluated by the spoofer localization performance based on the time-of-arrival (TOA) technique. The results of simulation and real-world experiments show that the position and the system clock offset of the spoofer could be estimated successfully.

  • In this paper, 2.4GHz RF Module using Even Harmonic Mixer(EHM) was designed and fabricated for Direct conversion(DC) system. By minimizing performance degradation of DC system with DC offset and LO radiation, the capability of minimization and one chip solution in wireless system was proposed. The designed EHM using anti-parallel diode pair represented 9dB conversion loss and about -60dBm 2LO leakage radiation in RF port, and output reflection and reverse transmission characteristic of low noise amplifier was improved. So superior DC offset suppression characteristic is expected. RF Module which consists of EHM, LNA, RF amplifier, Frequency synthesizer and Duplexer was designed and fabricated.

송전선 보호용 적분근사 거리계전 알고리즘 (A distance Relaying Algorithm Based on Numerical Solution of a Differential Equation for Transmission Line Protection)

  • A distance relaying algorithm for detecting faults at power transmission line is presented in this paper. The algorithm is based on differential equation from relaton between voltage and current, which is composed of lumped resistance and inductance. During the fault transient state,the voltage and current signals are severely distorted due to the exponentially decaying DC offset and high frequency components, In spite of using small data, the presented integral method to evaluate R and L from voltage and current has high performance against these harmonics including DC offset. Therefore, the presented algorithm can be implemented with only a low order anti-aliasing analog filter and dosen't need any digital filter to remove specific components.

  • Three-level diode clamped multilevel inverter, generally known as neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter, has an inherent problem causing neutral point (NP) potential variation. Until now, the NP potential problem of variation has been investigated and lots of solutions have also been proposed. This paper presents a neutral point voltage control technology using the anti-windup PI controller and offset technology of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to control the variation of NPC 3-phase three-level inverter neutral point voltage. And the proposed algorithm is tested and verified using a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) in order to synchronize the phase voltage from the line voltage of grid. It significantly improves the voltage balancing under a solar fluctuation conditions of the inverter. Experimental results show the good performance and effectiveness of the proposed method.

원심압축기 임펠러의 형상 변화에 따른 저유량 영역에서 발생하는 불안정 유동 평가 (Flow Instability Assessment Occurring in Low Flow Rate Region According to the Change of a Centrifugal Compressor Impeller Shape)

  • The objective of present study is to assess the performance of the first stage compressor in a total 3-stage 5000 HP-level turbo compressor. CFD commercial code, CFX has been used to predict three-dimensional flow characteristics inside of the impeller. Shear Stress Transport (SST) model has been used to simulate turbulent flows through Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations. Grid dependency has been also checked to get optimal grid distribution. Numerical results have been compared with the experimental test results to elucidate performance characteristics of the present compressor. In addition, flow characteristics of the impeller only have been studied for various blade configurations. Angular offset in leading edge of the blade has been selected for the optimal blade design. Performance characteristics in region of low mass flow rate and high pressure ratio between the impeller entrance and exit have been investigated for the selection of optimal blade design. Also, flow instability such as stall phenomena has been studied and anti-stall characteristics have been checked for various blade configurations in the operational window.

  • 본 논문은 비행중인 유도탄을 원격으로 통제하기 위한 대역확산 방식의 무선통신 상향링크 개발에 대하여 기술하였다. 낮은 피탐성과 높은 항재밍 능력을 갖으며 비행체의 초고속 이동 및 페이딩에 의한 위상 또는 주파수 옵셋으로 인한 성능열화를 최소화하기 위해 대역확산 부분 DBPSK 변조방식을 사용하였으며 통신지연시간을 줄이기 위해 고속 디지털신호처리 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 또한 통신채널 장애의 주요 원인이 되는 멀티패스 간섭을 최소화하기 위해 복수의 수신안테나를 사용하여 선택적 다이버시티를 구현하였으며 추가적으로 터보코드를 에러정정부호로 사용하여 양질의 데이터를 수신할 수 있도록 개발하였고 비행시험을 통하여 성능을 확인하였다.

차량의 횡방향 주행이격에 의한 아스팔트 콘크리트 포장의 응답특성 분석 (Field Evaluation of Traffic Wandering Effect on Asphalt Pavement Responses)

  • 본 연구는 차량의 주행경로를 정확하게 측정하는 수단을 개발하고 이를 현장계측에 적용하여 주행차량의 횡방향 이격에 의한 아스팔트 콘크리트 포장(이후 아스팔트 포장)의 주요 응답 특성을 규명하고자 하였다. 개발된 주행이격 측정 시스템은 두 개의 레이저 센서로부터 전송된 신호가 차량의 타이어로부터 반사되어오는 물리적 현상을 실시간으로 분석함으로서 도로 포장위의 임의의 기준으로부터 실제 차량이 주행한 경로를 정확하게 관측 할 수 있다. 다양한 주행이격에 의한 아스팔트 포장의 횡방향 수평 변형률과 하부 포장층의 수직응력 변화를 실측하기 위하여 시험도로상의 아스팔트 포장의 일부 구간을 선정, 덤프트럭에 의한 동하중 재하시험을 시행하였다. 차량의 횡방향 이격거리는 주행차로(2차)의 차륜부에 매설된 횡방향 수평 변형률 계측기의 중심을 기준으로 추월차로 방향으로 20cm 간격으로 조수석 차륜에 의한 하중중첩의 영향을 최대한 배재하도록 설정하였다. 현장시험 결과 표층과 중간층에서는 하중재하 위치에서 발생한 압축변형이 이격거리 약 40cm에서부터 점차 인장으로 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 보조기층상부와 동상방지층상부에 작용하는 수직응력은 하중재하 위치에서 치대로 발생하였으며 이격거리 50cm 이상부터는 하중에 의한 영향이 상대적으로 미비하였다.
