CFD를 이용한 테일러 반응기의 유동 특성에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Study on Fluid Flow Characteristics in Taylor Reactor using Computational Fluid Dynamics)

  • 본 연구는 테일러 반응기내 각속도와 유입속도 변화에 따른 테일러 유동의 변화와 입자의 체류시간 변화를 전산수치해석 기법을 이용하여 알아보았다. 반응기내 유동은 각속도가 증가함에 따라 점점 불안정해지는 경향을 보였다. 유동은 레이놀즈 수의 증가에 따라 CCF, TVF, WVF, MWVF 영역으로 이동하게 되고 각 영역에서 상이한 유동특성을 보였다. 유입속도의 변화가 테일러 유동에 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였다. 각속도가 빠를수록, 그리고 유입속도가 느릴수록 입자의 체류시간과 표준편차는 증가하였다.

  • A 73-year-old Korean female patient with a fully edentulous mandible was planned to have five implant fixtures installed in the anterior mandible for the fixed prosthesis. After 3-dimensional (3D) computed tomographic scanning was transferred to OnDemand3D$^{(R)}$ (Cybermed Co., Seoul, Korea) software program for the virtual planning, five fixtures of MK III Groovy RP implants of Branemark System$^{(R)}$ (Nobel Biocare AB Co., Goteborg, Sweden) were installed in the anterior mandible between both mental foramens using In2Guide$^{(R)}$ (CyberMed Co., Seoul, Korea) mucosa-supported surgical template with Quick Guide Kit$^{(R)}$ (Osstem Implant Co., Seoul, Korea) systems. Fixture installations were completed successfully without any complications, such as mental nerve injury, bony bleedings, fenestrations and other unexpected events. Postoperative computed tomographic scans were aligned and fused to the planned implant, then angular and linear deviations were compared with the planned virtual implants. The mean angular deviation between the planned and actual implant axes was $3.42{\pm}1.336^{\circ}$. The mean distance between the planned and actual implant at the neck area was $0.544{\pm}0.290$ mm horizontally and $0.118{\pm}0.079$ mm vertically. The average distance between the planned and actual implant at the apex area was $1.166{\pm}0.566$ mm horizontally and $0.14{\pm}0.091$ mm vertically. These results could be considered more precise and accurate than previous reports, and even our recent results. The entire procedures of this case are reported and reviewed.

CBCT 기반 디지털 안궁이전과 아날로그 안궁이전의 위치 편차: 증례보고 (Positional deviation between CBCT-based digital facebow transfer and analog facebow transfer: case series)

  • 조절성 교합기에 모형을 부착하기 위하여 안궁이전이 필요하다. 아날로그 안궁이전에서는 장비의 정확도와 작업자의 숙련도가 모형 부착 결과에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있다. 더불어 편차가 큰 방법으로 부착된 작업 모형에서는 정확한 치과 보철물의 제작이 어려우므로, 아날로그 안궁이전으로 부착된 작업 모형의 위치 편차를 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 본 증례에서는 아날로그 안궁이전으로 부착된 상악 모형의 위치와 cone beam computed tomography 데이터를 기반으로 위치된 상악 모형의 위치를 거리 편차와 교합 평면의 각도 편차를 평가하였다. 이를 토대로 아날로그 안궁이전으로 부착된 상악 모형의 편차를 보고하였다. 아날로그 안궁이전 방법은 3 - 16 mm의 선형 편차와 5 - 7도의 교합평면 각도 편차를 가지는 상악 모형의 부착 결과를 나타내었다. 아날로그 안궁이전은 환자별로 위치 편차가 다를 수 있음을 확인했으며, 치과 보철물 제작에서의 부정확성을 초래할 가능성이 있다. 이러한 결과는 임상에서 아날로그 안궁이전 방법이 상악 모형을 부착하는 과정에서 큰 편차가 있을 수 있음을 나타내었기에 이를 보고하는 바이다.

Relationship between chin deviation and the position and morphology of the mandible in individuals with a unilateral cleft lip and palate

  • Objective: In this study, we aimed to examine the relationship between chin deviation and the positional and morphological features of the mandible and to determine the factors that contributed to chin deviation in individuals with a unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP). Methods: Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images of 28 adults with UCLP were analyzed in this study. Segmented three-dimensional temporomandibular fossa and mandible images were reconstructed, and angular, linear, and volumetric parameters were measured. Results: For all 28 individuals, the chin was found to deviate to the cleft side by 1.59 mm. Moreover, among these 28 individuals, only 7 showed distinct (more than 4 mm) chin deviation, which was toward the cleft side. Compared to the non-cleft side, the mandibular body length, frontal ramal inclination, and vertical position of the condyle were lower and inclination of the temporomandibular fossa was steeper on the cleft side. Furthermore, the differences in inclination of the temporomandibular fossa, mandibular body length, ramus length, and condylar volume ratio (non-deviated/deviated) were positively correlated with chin deviation. Conclusions: UCLP individuals show mild chin deviation to the cleft side. Statistical differences were noted in the parameters that represented positional and morphological asymmetries of the mandible and temporomandibular fossa; however, these differences were too small to indicate clinical significance.

선박 엔진용 캠 전용 측정기의 데이터 취득 및 해석 (Data Acquisition and Analysis of a Measuring Machine for Marine Engine′s Cams)

  • In this paper, data acquisition and analysis of a measuring machine for marine engine's cams is discussed. A rotary encoder and linear scale of the machine to measure angular and linear displacement respectively are interfaced to the PC via encoder board with 2 channels. The design and measuring data are interpolated by cubic spline curves to compute the precision error which is defined by the maximum and minimum distances between two curves. The minimum zone fit of ISO is employed to evaluate the geometric deviation. The developed system takes only 5 minutes to measure and analyze while the CMM takes over 1 hours even with a skilled operator.

  • It was to study a following research of "A Kinematical Traits Analysis when Performing Uchimata(inner thigh reaping throw) by Posture and Voluntary Resistance Levels(VRL) of Uke in Judo[1]" and. "A Case Study of Center of Gravity(COG) when Performing Uchimata(inner thigh reaping throw) by Posture and Voluntary Resistance Levels(VRL) of Uke in Judo[II]". The purpose of this study was to analyze an angular momentum of trunk and lower extremity when performing uchimata by two postures and voluntary resistance levels(VRL) of uke(reciver) in Judo. The subjects, who were one male judoka(YH) for 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games Olympian(silver medalist), was filmed on two S-VHS 16mm video cameras(60fields/sec.) through 3-dimensional motion analysis methods, that postures of uke were shizenhontai (straight natural posture:NP) and jigohontai (straight defensive posture:DP), VRL of uke were 0% and 100%, respectively. The variables were angular momentum of trunk, lower extremity of attacking leg and supporting leg of tori(the thrower). The data of this study collection were digitized by SIMI Motion Program computed the mean values and the standard deviation calculated for each variables. When performing uchimata according to each posture and VRL of uke and classifying. From the data analysis and discussion, the conclusions were as follows : Angular momentum of trunk when performing uchimata was showed the largest among another angular momenta, and the posture displayed more different than resistant of uke(reciver), but the pattern similar in judo. Angular momentum of trunk of X axis was the largest and Y, Z axis order. Angular momentum of attacking the thigh-leg when performing uchimata was showed the largest among another angular momenta, and the posture displayed more different than resistant of uke(reciver), X axis and Y axis similar, but angular momentum of Z axis of thigh-leg the largest, in kake(application) event in 0% resistance of DP than other variables. Angular momentum in X,Y axis of attacking the lower-leg when performing uchimata was showed that the resistance level displayed more different than posture, but Z axis the largest, in kake(E3) phase in 0% resistance of DP than other variables as same thigh-leg, and the largest from tsukuri(set-up:E2) to kake(E3) phase. X and Z axis Angular momentum of supporting the thigh-leg were similar, regardless of posture and resistance of uke, but Y axis was resistance level. Angular momentum of supporting the thigh-leg was showed the largest in X axis, increased from EO event to E2, and decreased in E3, and angular momenta of Y, X axis were showed the largest in kuzushi(balance breaking) phase when performing uchimata. Angular momentum of supporting the lower leg were similar pattern, regardless of posture and resistance of uke, in Y axis, resistance displayed more difficult the position in NP, and showed opposite angular momentum in tsukuri phase. In conclusion, angular momentum of trunk when performing uchimata was showed the largest, and pattern was similar, regardless of posture than resistant of uke(reciver), magnitude and direction were different each other, and uchimata was Ashi -waza(foot and leg techniques) division but important of trunk action.

Effect of internal angles between limbs of cross plan shaped tall building under wind load

  • The present study revealed comparison the pressure distribution on the surfaces of regular cross plan shaped building with angular cross plan shaped building which is being transformed from basic cross plan shaped building through the variation of internal angles between limbs by $15^{\circ}$ for various wind incidence angle from $0^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$ at an interval of $30^{\circ}$. In order to maintain the area same the limbs sizes are slightly increased accordingly. Numerical analysis has been carried out to generate similar nature of flow condition as per IS: 875 (Part -III):1987 (a mean wind velocity of 10 m/s) by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with help of ANSYS CFX ($k-{\varepsilon}$ model). The variation of mean pressure coefficients, pressure distribution over the surface, flow pattern and force coefficient are evaluated for each cases and represented graphically to understand extent of nonconformities due to such angular modifications in plan. Finally regular cross shaped building results are compared with wind tunnel results obtained from similar '+' shaped building study with similar flow condition. Reduction in along wind force coefficients for angular crossed shaped building, observed for various skew angles leads to develop lesser along wind force on building compared to regular crossed shaped building and square plan shaped building. Interference effect within the internal faces are observed in particular faces of building for both cases, considerably. Significant deviation is noticed in wind induced responses for angular cross building compared to regular cross shaped building for different direction wind flow.

Thoroughbred 망아지에서 단일나사못 장착 및 골막박리를 이용한 지세교정술 (A Case of New Surgical Correction of Angular Limb Deformities Using One Screw Implant & Periosteal Transection in a Thoroughbred Foal)

  • 다리기형(ALD)은 다리가 정중선에서 벗어나 측면으로 회전변형 된 것을 의미하고 망아지에 흔한 선천적 결손이다. 30일령의 Thoroughbred 망아지가 한국마사회 제주목장 동물병원으로 내원하였다. 방사선 검사에서 양 앞다리가 각각 외측으로 변형되었고 오른앞다리가 왼앞다리보다 심하게 회전된 것을 확인하여 단일나사고정술과 골막박리술을 이용하여 교정수술을 하였다. 40일 후 나사를 제거하였고 술부의 섬유화 및 과잉교정 등 합병증이 없이 바르게 교정되었다. 이 결과로 국내 신생망아지에 isoflurane을 이용한 흡입마취에서 단일나사고정술과 골막박리술은 안전하고 효과적인 수술임을 확인하였다.

정상 한국인 성인 남녀에서 협골을 중심으로 한 중안모의 측모 두부방사선 규격사진 분석법 (A LATERAL CEPHALOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF MIDFACE FOCUSING ON ZYGOMATIC BONE IN KOREAN ADULTS)

  • Purpose : A new method of lateral cephalometric analysis for midface, focusing on zygomatic bone, was created in this study, and measured in Korean adults. The purposes of this study are understanding about new approach for midfacial depression, especially zygomatic bone, and using to make adequate diagnosis and treatment plan. Materials and methods : In this study, esthetic Korean adults, 25 males and 25 females who were between $0^{\circ}$ and $4^{\circ}$ in ${\angle}ANB$, and between 62% and 70% in P/A facial height ratio, and had normal overbite and overjet, were used. Orbitale(Or) and Soft tissue orbitale(Or') were used for indicators of anteroposterior position of zygomatic area. And, mean value and standard deviation of linear and angular measurements, and ratio about each linear measurements, were obtained. then, standard deviation diagram - wiggle diagram - was made for visualization of results. Results : Mean values, standard deviations and ranges of 19 measurements were obtained, and among them, 5 linear measurements that had large standard deviation were excluded and the others were used for making standard deviation diagram. In standard deviation diagram, the following results were obtained. 1. If the measurements are located on more left side of mean-value-vertical -line, the potential of midfacial hypoplasia are stronger, especially zygomatic area. 2. If the measurements are located on more right side of mean-value-vertical-line, the potential of midfacial hypoplasia are decreased. Conclusion : This study presented a new method of lateral cephalometric analysis focusing on zygomatic bone in Korean adults. We expect that the results of this study can be used as parameter when clinicians make decisions about diagnosis and treatment plan for rehabilitation of esthetics and function. But, it is necessary to prove its usefulness, and to further evaluate the results.
