  • The issued problem in the existed NFC authentication system is the security problem caused by the fixed key and the inconvenience occurred by the extra NFC tag. This paper aims to enhance the security level through OTP system added up the key generation mechanism and the convenience level by the integrated Android App. This proposed authentication system on Arduino will be widely applied to IoT security and will be used on diverse applications.

  • In order for consumers to purchase products and event products offered at each convenience store at a low price, visitors should visit the convenience store's homepage or visit the store directly. In this study, we developed an app program for each convenience store to find out which products are event products and which services are provided at certain convenience stores. Using this app, users can search real-time on various services including event information provided by various convenience stores.

  • In this paper, the Digital DoorLock by Internet of Things (DDiT) is introduced. In order to implement DDiT, an integrated micro-controller platform, Arduino is used to control an existing digital doorlock and an android type smart phone is adopted as a mobile platform. One of the advantages of DDiT is that it can be added to an existing digital doorlock and a smart phone application is used as a digital key. Owing to the smart phone application, several other types of applications could also be made. Therefore, DDiT could be used effectively and conveniently in ordinary homes as well as in high security applications such as in hotels, institutes, and companies.

  • In recent years, internet of things (IoT) technology has developed rapidly and has been applied in many fields. IoT devices collect and analyze information in various environments and provide useful information to users. Due to the recent increase in IoT devices, many open source platforms based on hardware and software that are cheap and easy to use have been developed and provided. In this paper, we have studied the IoT system based on Arduino which can communicate Bluetooth wireless data with smart phone in real time. And we have developed a wireless system control app based on App Invertor 2 for communication with Android smart phone. Also, we propose an IoT system based on Arduino which can control the devices and implement the function of connectivity between devices.

  • This paper is about the design of flowerpot management system which allows you to manage the flowerpot more efficiently and conveniently using Internet of Things when you start to grow plants. IoT connects all things to the network to provide various services to users, it has recently been focused on the center of the IT convergence techniques. So by using the realization sensor based IoT technology the need for research and development of IoT technologies were designed for the system. Basically, Device is using soil humidity sensor and Arduino, Android smart phone and smart light bulb. Transmit the humidity value of the flowerpot that measured by the sensor in a wireless communication, by controlling the state according to the value of the humidity, users can be provided a visual information and set up a flowerpot management and plan.

  • IoT(Internet of Things) 기술이 급속도로 발전함에 따라 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있으며, 새로운 부가가치를 창출하고 있다. 최근에는 IoT 기술을 접목하여 도시 내부에 자동화된 농작물 재배시설을 설비하여 재배된 농작물을 직접 현지에 바로 공급할 수 있는 운영시스템을 구축하고 있다. 본 연구는 도심지 내부의 건물 옥상이나 농작물을 재배할 수 있는 임의의 공간에 온실을 설치하여 작물을 재배할 수 있는 환경을 원격으로 관리하는데 있다. 온실 내부의 환경 데이터를 계측하기 위한 온도, 습도, 조도, 토양상태, CO2 센스를 설치하여 온실 내부의 환경을 라즈베리파이2(raspberry Pi2)를 활용하여 계측하였다. 원격으로의 데이터 전송은 Wi-Fi를 이용하여 데이터를 전송하였으며, 중앙에서 관리된 관리정보를 통하여 온실 하우스의 내부 환경을 제어할 수 도록 모터(motor), 환풍기 팬, 조명용 Led, 워터 펌프 등을 제어하도록 하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과를 통하여 비닐하우스의 내부 상태를 계측하고, 다양한 구동장치를 제어할 수 있도록 IoT 기술을 편리하게 적용할 수 있는 라즈베리파이와 원격관리용 스마트 앱(app.)을 이용하여 비닐하우스 내부 관경을 편리하게 관리할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This is a study on controlling a drone (DJI Mavic Air) with simple hand gesture using Leap Motion controller. Four component involve are MacBook, Leap Motion controller, Android device, and DJI Mavic Air. All of this component are connected through USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi technology. The studies main purpose are to show that by controlling a drone through Leap Motion, drone amateur user can easily learn how to control a drone, and because of longer drone control range can be archived things such as search and rescue mission will be possible.

  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is one of the technologies which represent the core value of the creative economy. It has served as a vehicle connecting the existing industry and corporate infrastructure, developing existing products and services and creating new products and services. In addition to the ICT, new devices including big data, mobile gadgets and wearable products are gaining a great attention sending an expectation for a new market-pioneering. Further, Internet of Things (IoT) is helping solidify the ICT-based social development connecting human-to-human, human-to-things and things-to-things. This means that the manufacturing-based hardware development needs to be achieved simultaneously with software development through convergence. The essential element the convergence between hardware and software is OS, for which world's leading companies such as Google and Apple have launched an intense development recognizing the importance of software. Against this backdrop, the status-quo of the software market has been examined for the study of the present report (Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology: Professional Design Technology Development Project). As a result, the software platform-based Google's android and Apple's iOS are dominant in the global market and late comers are trying to enter the market through various pathways by releasing web-based OS and similar OS to provide a new paradigm to the market. The present study is aimed at finding the way to utilize a smart content by which anyone can be a developer based on OS responding to such as social change, newly defining a smart content to be universally utilized and analyzing the market to deal with a rapid market change. The study method, scope and details are as follows: Literature investigation, Analysis on the app market according to a smart classification system, Trend analysis on the current content market, Identification of five common trends through comparison among the universal definition of smart content, the status-quo of application represented in the app market and content market situation. In conclusion, the smart content market is independent but is expected to develop in the form of a single organic body being connected each other. Therefore, the further classification system and development focus should be made in a way to see the area from multiple perspectives including a social point of view in terms of the existing technology, culture, business and consumers.

Platform Design of Unity Launcher for the IoT Beacon based 3D Position (IoT 비콘기반의 3차원 위치표출 위한 유니티 런처의 플랫폼 설계)

  • In this paper, an android platform with Unity engine was proposed for the effective 3D presentation of IoT sensor's position to IoT(Internet of Things) users. This android platform based home-gateway was designed with the cooperation of 3D unity engine for 3D texture according to MovieTexture simultaneously. As a result, the 3D presentation technology of IoT sensors was described with Unity based 3D modeling. In this proposed smart gateway, the 3D position was presented with the received RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) and angle of IoT sensors. This 3D Unity launcher can be used for the 3D position, monitoring, and the life managing of IoT sensors with the beacon and 3 dimensional cube-style after the 3D conversion of 2D.

  • Healthcare services can be provided through a number of independent service platforms for measurement of vital signs, diagnosis and prevention of diseases, and Information and communication technology(ICT) such as internet and mobile are converged to provide health information to users at anytime and anywhere, and it is in the center of the IoT(Internet of things). Accordingly, in this paper, we designed IoT based urination management system and evaluate the performance. A low - power Zigbee network was constructed for the configuration of the urination management system. The implemented capacitive diaper sensor was operable for the duration of 2,000 hours. We also built a database server using Raspberry Pi, a tiny embedded device, and stored the collected data to verify the data through an Android-based mobile application. The proposed urination management system can be utilized not only for the older patients, but also for the infants.
