A Study on Faceted Navigation of the Public Libraries (공공도서관의 패싯 내비게이션에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to construct faceted navigation useful for domestic users through analyzing English and North American public libraries' faceted navigations. The 19 domestic libraries and the 12 foreign libraries has been chosen for analyzing their unique facets. Although the domestic libraries' facets had no differences to the domestic universities' facets, the North American libraries have their unique facets. Those facets are target audience, genre, library list, user tags, and availability related facets and the facets are mainly to improve user's usability in using library catalog. Adopting the facets in domestic public libraries by using Fixed-Length data elements of KORMARC, domestic public libraries will enhance usability of library users in retrieving library materials.

  • As the interest in traffic safety has been increasing recently, social movement is being made to reduce the number of traffic accidents and the view on improving the mobility of the existing roads is being converted into on establishing traffic safety as a priority. The increase of traffic accidents related to an intersection in a state that traffic accidents are decreasing overall may suggests the necessity to investigate the specific causes. In addition, we have to consider them when establishing the measures against traffic accidents in a intersection by investigating and analyzing the influences and factors that may affect traffic accidents. To induce the accident severity model, we collected the factors that affect accidents and then applied the Poisson Regression Model among nonlinear regression analysis by verifying the distribution of variables. As a result of the analysis, it turned out that the volume of traffic on main roads, the right turn ratio on sub-roads, the number of ways out on sub-roads, the number of exclusive roads for a left turn, the signals for a right turn on main roads, and an intersect angle were the factors that affect the accident severity.

  • The equalization policy needs various factors-standardization of educational environment, standardization of learning method, standardization of teacher ability, etc. Especially the standardization of educational environment is the base of various factors. But the recent educational environment condition of high school is not equal. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for equal learning environment condition in high school applying departmentalized classroom system. This study has progressed through analyzing on 9 remodelling case of high school in Gangwon-Do. The method of this study is visiting high schools that operate the system, grasping the condition for environment composition, and investigating and analyzing practical use of the environment. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) The space compositions for departmentalized classroom system are generally desirable, but some schools take irrational space composition, especially on home base-teacher laboratory, classroom-teacher laboratory. 2) The space area distributions are different in every school. This result is based on not taking standard criterion on space area distribution.

  • In this work, a mathematical modeling of SAW coupled mode in SAW resonator filter, which is very useful in analyzing the characteristics of periodic electrode structure such as SAW reflective array and inter-digital transducers. was considered by mathematical analytic approach. The design and simulation method for resonator filter was also proposed by equivalent transduction matrix using this mathematical modeling. In order for a designer to simulate, and to design the coupled mode SAW resonator filters effectively that could be applied to mobile communication system, a design simulator for coupled mode filter was implemented by graphic user interface, and it was investigated by designing and analyzing practical SAW coupled mode resonator filter from a view point of application of this simulator.

  • This paper is interested in analyzing the CSFs of 3 different kinds of on-line digital products. They are on-line digital products of (1) transaction, (2) relations, and (3) interests. This study first tried to define the on-line digital products based in the above three categories and then to find the factors that might effect the customer acceptability in each product groups. Independent variables used in this study are characters of products, characters of users, and system environments. This paper that on-line survey has been conducted for the study's specialty and the collected resource was analyzed by using the SPSS 10.0K statistics package. Using multiple regression, this study finds that major factors effecting the user acceptability of each group are different from one another. For example, system environment variables such as speediness, system performance effects the customer acceptability of digital products of Interest(game, avartar, etc). Much more then that of products of relations(information service, etc). Therefore empirical findings are suggested in the conclusion.

  • Purpose: Chatbots are widely diffusing across various industries to substitute human manpower in the industry. However as researchers only develop technology that is applied to chatbot, the diffusion is slow in progress. The purpose of this study is to propose useful implications to accelerate diffusion of chatbots across industries by analyzing the perception of customers. To achieve the research purpose this study analyzes causal effect relationship between characteristics of chatbot character, service quality, individual difference, and intention to use chatbot. Methods: This study developed a survey that contains various questionnaires for each construct based on literature review. Data collected through survey was tested for convergent validity and discriminant validity and further analyzed the relationship using PLS-SEM method to verify hypotheses. Results: Trustworthiness of the chatbot character, ease of use, application design, responsiveness, customization, assurance, inertia, and previous experience have significant influence on forming user satisfaction, consumer trust, and intention to use. The others, likability, appropriateness, technology anxiety, and need for interaction were not significant in this research. Conclusion: Although the constructs of the research model was significant in previous literatures, some do not have significant effect on intention to use chatbots. Based on the results, chatbot managers will be able to develop chatbot systems which are more appealing to users and more academic researchers will focus on analyzing user perception and intention.

  • The object of this research is to know the characteristics of design for stage costume design through experiencing production of costume design of Mascani's opera "Cavalleria Rusticana" and to know the effect of stage costume at real performance. Background of times and characteristics were reviewed by analyzing opera. And reference regarding Mascani's opera "Cavalleria Rusticana" and script, and image data analysis and interview with director were also done. Ethnic costume in Sicily in southern Italy was reviewed at conception step. and design was embodied by analyzing character of each person based on this analysis. Form of character. motion and vocalization were considered at actual production step, and stage effect was analysed by considering lighting, stage background, and combination of color on costume between characters through real performance. The above conclusion could present professional and systematic methodology in designing opera and other stage costumes. And this research can also be a contribution in these days when interest for theatrical art. along with importance of stage costume, plays a key role in modern art. role in modern art.

A Study on Fashion Design Applying the Principle of Considerate Design (배려디자인의 원리를 적용한 패션디자인 연구)

  • Considerate design enhances the familiarity, consideration and design accessibility of various customers. The aim of this study lies on analyzing the aesthetic characteristics and instrumental characteristics of fashion design and applying the considerate design principles. The fashion photograph collection that applies the considerate design principle, was collected from 2006 S/S to 2011 F/W through the following internet site: www. style. com. First, the considerate design key words used in the preceding studies and literatures were classified semantically into these words: "Supportiveness", "Variability", "Ease", "Protection". The result shows that considerate fashion design has used simple, comfortable and achromatic, squared silhouettes that are not affected by the changing trend, simple color coordination and hard materials to prolong the product and the plain pattern. By analyzing the instrumental characteristics of considerate fashion design according to the principles, designs of "Supportiveness" purposely used many changes and showed reversible ways the most. Designs of "Variability" used design changes in length, volume, detail, and other changing forms. Designs of "Ease" used easy-wear apparel, ties and pleats. Designs of "Protection" partially used coverings and different combinations.

Dynamic Interaction Analysis of Interconnected Wind Power Generator using Computer Simulation and Real-Size Hardware Simulator (컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실규모 하드웨어시뮬레이터를 이용한 계통연계 풍력발전의 응동특성 분석)

  • This paper describes comparative analysis results about the dynamic interaction of interconnected wind power system using the actual-size hardware simulator and the simulation model with PSCAD/EMTDC. The hardware simulator, which is composed of 2.0MVA induction motor with drive system and 1.5MW doubly-fed induction generator, was built and tested in Go-Chang Test Site of KEPCO for analyzing the dynamic interaction with the interconnected distribution system. The operation of hardware simulator was verified through comparative analysis between experimental results and simulation results obtained by simulation model with PSCAD/EMTDC. The developed hardware simulator and simulation model could be effectively used for analyzing the dynamic interaction, which has various phenomena depending on the wind variation and the network state of interconnected power system.
