Supporting Measures for Mobile Application Development Activation (모바일 애플리케이션 개발 활성화 지원에 관한 연구)

  • As coming smart computing era, the government and leading telecommunication companies have actively supported the development of mobile applications. However, since it is processed apart from the characteristics of small businesses, policy problems and support ways have continuously been pointed out. In this study, we selected priority of support project for the activation of the mobile application development, then proposed support ways for the success of small development business. Firstly, we researched the mobile business literatures, support projects and policy trends of the Korean government, academia and private sector. Next, we developed the activation model for small development business by synthesizing of support projects, literatures and expert group interviews. Based on this model, we selected priority of support projects according to AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis results. In conclusion, we categorize the five support ways for the activation of mobile application development. We are expecting that these support ways will be useful to the development of effective policies and selection of detail tasks for the support of small business or developers.

A Study on the Precedence of the Risk of Problem Features of Senile Dementia Patients (치매노인의 문제특성에 대한 위험순위에 관한 연구)

  • Selected cognitive ability test and survey of basic & problem characteristics were conducted on 110 hospitalized senile dementia patients to extract important problem features. Twenty important problem features were extracted by the factor analysis. In this study, the precedence of the risk of 20 problem features was determined for care of senile dementia patients. Questionnaire was conducted on 32 clinical psychologists who had experienced the diagnosis and treatment of senile dementia patients. Using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), relative risk levels were studied and the precedence of risk was determined by making 20 important problem features in order of the risk. Results of two analyses indicated that during normal daily activities of senile dementia patients the cognitive problem such as memory impairment, judgement disorder and disorientation is the most dangerous risk factor.

  • Road Traffic Authority and National Police Agency is currently managing the "development of an integrated metropolitan traffic information infrastructure" that installs of facilities for a traffic information infrastructures, such as Local Traffic Information Center, UTIS(Urban Traffic Information System), CCTV, VMS and etc. CTIC was established in 2005 to act as an traffic information hub and to provide integrated UTIS traffic information without regional barriers. This study was carried out to seek for solution to improve quality of UTIS traffic information service for the Central Traffic Information Center(CTIC). In this study, the Evaluation index for UTIS traffic information service was developed and the implementation plan was established by using requirement analysis method, case study and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique. The Evaluation index consist of 5 fields and 20 index, it make possible evaluation of direct/indirect effect for UTIS traffic information service. In conclusion, It is expected that quality of UTIS traffic information service will be improved by using developed evaluation index and also can be applied for performance evaluation of other traffic information systems.

A Study on the Entrepreneurship Curriculum Development Model to Systemize Entrepreneurship Education in Entrepreneurial Graduate School (AHP를 활용한 창업대학원 교과목 선호도 평가요인별 중요도에 관한 연구: 창업대학원 재학생을 대상으로)

  • Since global circumstances have become competitive, entrepreneurship has been regarded as the most important factors in economic revitalization not only in korea but also internationally. According to these changes, public entrepreneurship education has been started from the year of 2004 establishing Entrepreneurial Graduate School as a part of governmental plan. Although entrepreneurship education history is not long enough in korea, but the need for entrepreneurship education in social is now going ahead of the public education systems such as universities and graduate schools. Therefore, this study is conducted for the purpose of drawing the subject frame for systematized integration curriculum of entrepreneurship education through evaluating the importance of the subjects by Analytic Hierarchy Process analysis after being composed of 6 modularity in the Entrepreneurship subjects. This was structured based on studying the current status for entrepreneurship education in domestic universities and graduate schools. The research findings under the condition of Judgement consistency ratio 0.1 are as follows. The most important factors are in order as following; "Entrepreneurial Issues for Fund"(.242), "Entrepreneurship Plan"(.195), "Entrepreneurship & Entrepreneurship mindset"(.161), "Entrepreneurial Issues for Growth & Development"(.160), "Management Skill & Strategy"(.150), and "Special Entrepreneurship"(.093). Then, these findings also represent subfactors as well. The results of this study provide the practical guidelines where the curriculums needed for the entrepreneurship education at graduate schools by suggesting consistency for the systematic and comprehensive curriculum design. It was reflected the survey result from the graduate students taking the entrepreneurship subjects. Therefore, it will contribute the foundation of the present curriculum of Entrepreneurial Graduate School.

Development of Decision Making Model of Measures on the Decrease of Traffic Accident Following Implementation of Intra-city Bus by using AHP (AHP 기법을 이용한 시내버스 교통사고 저감대책 의사결정 모델개발)

  • Implementation of semi-public management system of intra-city bus achieve excellent results but there are some side effects like increase of the fatal traffic accidents. This study tries to develop decision making model of measures of reducing traffic accidents following implementation of semi-public management system of intra-city bus. And survey with traffic experts and analytic hierarchy process are used for data survey and analysis. Quantitative measures and qualitative measures are suggested as high assessment items of AHP. Quantitative measures of low assessment items composed of a raise in the number of bus and safety device installation, facility supplement of bus stop, supplement of pedestrian protection facility, traffic safety assessment and supplement. Qualitative measures composed of system organization, redesign bus route, reinforcement of education, campaign and enforcement. The results of this study are as follows. First, the result turns out more weights are calculated on quantitative measures than on qualitative measures. Second, It is turned out in order of facility supplement of bus stop and traffic safety assessment and supplement as the quantitative measures. Third, as qualitative measures, system organization and redesign bus route are in the order. The results of this study are considered to be a basic data which can be referred if measures on the decrease of traffic accident are established and implemented in other cities and provinces.

  • This study was conducted to derive a priority of investment in educational facilities by collecting and analyzing investment records from elementary, middle, and high schools in Chung Nam area. In addition, the AHP survey and analysis were performed in order to draw the priority item in the educational facility improvement. Students, parents, teachers and a educational facility managers from those schools provided their opinions and data for the AHP study. As a result of the study, the actual investment-cost and a lack of educational facilities were found. A priority item based on the above study was derived which can be used to increase user's satisfaction in the educational facilities. The result of this study can be used as a basis to improve the environment of the educational facilities.

A Study on a Way to Induce Drivers' Voluntary Traffic Behavior Change by Using AHP (AHP기법을 활용한 승용차 운전자의 자발적인 교통행동변화 유도방안 연구)

  • The main reason for urban traffic problems is the increasing in the use of private cars. In order to solve this problem, strong traffic demand management policies such as the collection of congestion tolls and the crackdown on freight vehicles are emerging. Now, however, it is necessary to seek ways for users to make changes in traffic behavior through direct communication between public agencies and passenger car users. As a technique to make this possible, mobility management, which aims to use rational passenger cars by inducing behavior change through individual consciousness change, has recently been proved to be effective in overseas. Therefore, this study concluded that the introduction of MM, which emphasizes individual voluntary behavior change, is necessary at present. In order to investigate the ways of inducing voluntary changes in traffic behavior of passenger car users, a questionnaire survey was conducted on traffic experts and the priorities of voluntary traffic behavior change measures were calculated using AHP. As a result of the analysis, it was shown that "to actively appeal to change the traffic behavior by using the mass media" was the top priority. The next priority were in order of company education for the change of traffic behavior, education for the school, and small-scale workshops.

  • The development of ocean industries is an existing and important problem for South Korea, which is mostly surrounded by sea and has a long coastline along three seas. It is necessary for researchers to make efforts to enhance its cost and time competitiveness, because many ocean-based activities have been carried out in harsh physical conditions when compared with land-based ones. One of these efforts to improve efficiency is to operate an Offshore Supply Base (OSB), which is a basic infrastructure required to develop ocean industries effectively. For this reason, the construction and operation of OSBs have become an issue in Korea. The relevant research is limited. Nevertheless, there are a few reports published by Korean research institution. They focus on promoting ocean industries and only mention the necessity of OSB as a promotion tool for the industries. This study on the other hand, addresses various issues on the construction of OSBs in Korea and suggests implications for them. To examine the conditions on the construction of OSBs in Korea, we conduct case studies of Houston and Singapore, the representative regions where a massive OSB has been constructed and operated. In addition, we use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the relative priorities of the services provided by OSBs if constructed in Korea.

Analysis on Importance of Information Security Factors for Smart Work using AHP -Based on the Mobile Office for Small Businesses- (AHP를 활용한 스마트워크 정보보호 요소의 중요도 분석 -중소기업의 모바일 오피스를 중심으로-)

  • Smart work has recently introduced as a way to solve problems such as greenhouse gas emissions, low birth rate and aging as well as to improve productivity. Because of development of ICT infrastructure and the proliferation of smart devices, the mobile office has the most commonly used within types of smart work in Korea. But the adoption of the mobile office in small businesses is only half of that of large corporations. The security issue appears to be one of the biggest obstacles to the introduction of smart work in small businesses. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the information security factors that should be considered when the mobile office is introduced to small businesses. By analyzing the previous studies, the information security factors of the mobile office are classified 5 groups composed of 24 factors. 5 groups are terminals, applications and platforms, networks, servers and users. According to the survey result using AHP, 'User' was drawn to the most important group, and 'Data Encryption', 'Wireless LAN Control' and 'Terminal Recovery When Leaving' were drawn to the important information security factors of the mobile office among 24 factors.

A Study on Importance Setting of Activation Elements in Domestic Tourist Destinations Regeneration Consequent on the Cause of Stagnation or Decline (정체·쇠퇴원인에 따른 국내 관광지 재생 활성화 요소의 중요도 설정 연구)

  • Currently, 230 domestic tourist destinations have been designated, established, and operated in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act. According to the results of preceding research, more than 30% of them have been getting into the stagnation or decline stage. This is becoming a burden to local governments operating and managing tourist destinations, making it necessary to seek resolution measures. Thus, this study determined the activation elements of stagnant/declined tourist destinations regeneration to deal with problems of domestic stagnant or declined tourist destinations and also to regenerate rational and sustainable tourist destinations. This study conducted a survey with experts based on causes for stagnation and decline of domestic tourist destinations suggested by preceding research. Based on the survey results, the activation elements of stagnant/declined tourist destinations regeneration were drawn through the Delphi Technique and Analytic Hierarchy Process. And then the priority and weight of the drawn activation elements of stagnant/declined tourist destinations regeneration were drawn for the sake of reasonable project progress of tour site regeneration. In the results of the analysis, as activation elements of stagnant/declined tourist destinations regeneration, a total of seven upper-attributes, 23 sub-attributes, and 66 detailed-elements were drawn. It would be possible to raise the efficiency of projects and rational decision-making when executing future tourist destinations regeneration projects by using the activation elements drawn. Also, the drawn elements could be applied to the actual tourist destinations regeneration projects as measures for the stagnant/declined domestic tourist destinations' contribution to the vitalization of local economy based on sustainability, prohibition of thoughtless development of domestic tourism projects, and also efficient use of tourism resources.
