In human reliability analysis, dependence assessment is an important issue in risky large complex systems, such as operation of a nuclear power plant. Many existing methods depend on an expert's judgment, which contributes to the subjectivity and restrictions of results. Recently, a computational method, based on the Dempster-Shafer evidence theory and analytic hierarchy process, has been proposed to handle the dependence in human reliability analysis. The model can deal with uncertainty in an analyst's judgment and reduce the subjectivity in the evaluation process. However, the computation is heavy and complicated to some degree. The most important issue is that the existing method is in a positive aspect, which may cause an underestimation of the risk. In this study, a new evidential analytic hierarchy process dependence assessment methodology, based on the improvement of existing methods, has been proposed, which is expected to be easier and more effective.

This study suggests the applicability of an AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) to improve the validity and fairness of evaluation index to assess the defense core-technology R&D projects. This study focused on the design of the proposal and performance evaluation index to structure them into a hierarchy using AHP which can be applicable to take the opinion of the defense R&D experts. Using the refined evaluation index, we propose a technique to enhance the reliability of the defense R&D projects evaluation system.

The purposes of this study were to identify the evaluation categories, areas, attributes of the hospital food service and to define the relative importance of the evaluation categories, areas, attributes of the hospital food service using analytic hierarchy process. A survey was conducted from January 8th to 25th in 2007. Questionnaires were mailed to the 310 directors of dietetic departments of hospitals that included 160 primary hospitals, 107 secondary hospitals, and 43 tertiary hospitals. The result of the analytic hierarchy process indicated that relative importance of evaluation category was 0.5259 for food service management and 0.3407 for nutrition care. The food service management consisted of four subcategories, which are equipment standard, sanitation, production, and delivery service. Sanitation(relative importance: 0.2652) was the most important area among the subcategories and it was followed by equipment standard(0.2067), delivery service(0.1864) and production(0.1848). The nutrition care has two subcategories, menu management and meal management. The relative importance of menu management(0.4174) was higher than that of meal management(0.3555). The quality of food service and nutrition care to inpatients can be improved by the evaluation system based on appropriate applications of the developed evaluation indicators for hospital food service systems.

인터넷 서비스가 안정화 위주로 옮겨가면서 웹서비스의 품질 향상을 위해 보다 많은 투자가 이루어지고 있다. 대규모의 다양한 정보를 제공하고있는 전자도서관 웹 사이트가 객관적인 평가 시스템을 개발하여 적용하므로써 이용자들에게 서비스의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 기준을 마련할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 검색성, 개인화로 기준을 도출하였다. 구축된 사용성 평가 모델을 계층적 분석방법(Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP)을 이용하여 평가하고 검증하였다. 평가지침으로 설정된 항목을 설문조사를 하여 계층적 분석방법에 기초한 디지털 도서관 웹 사이트 평가 모델을 개발하였다.

The paper is to analyze multi-attributes for expanding new renewable energy in agricultural sectors which have environmental, technical, economic, and social factors consisting of 15 attributes which have both positive and negative impacts. We applied the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to data from opinion polls. As a result of the AHP survey, the overall results indicate that the respondents more weight on economical factor than environmental, technical, and social factors for expanding new renewable energy. At the lowest level, a comparison of individual 15 attributes within three factors shows that fixed cost highest in multi-attributes, followed by operating cost, technical superiority. To achieve the public acceptance about expanding new renewable energy in agricultural sectors, the policy-makers should take all relevant factors into account through the decision-making process by the public opinions.

The study is to develop indicators for woman famers center using focus group meeting and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), which is a method to derive relative weights for each evaluation indicators. The results of this study are as follows. We determined such as the three indicators that planning establishment(seven), promotion process of work(six), performance of work(nine). We analysed the weights of this indicators by AHP. The relative weights of performance of work was 0.5269, planning establishment 0.2554 and promotion process of work marked 0.2177. It was suggested that further research should be carried out to develop more objective assessment indicators.

A R&D project evaluation method has been applied for the national nuclear R&D projects in a developing-country setting. In the methodology, Saaty's analytic hierarchy process model is used to evaluate and rank of the selected nuclear R&D project which have a wide range of objectives and characteristics. The criteria used for evaluation related specifically to the Korea's evaluation needs and culture, and they are weighted according to their relative importance as perceived by the evaluator of the R&D project. As a real-world case of evaluation, we elicited and reproduced the evaluation process of the nuclear R&D projects which is going under the research process. As the results of the paper suggests, the methodology can be applied to the evaluation of the R&D projects and has much potential.

본 연구에서는 항공이용객이 접하게 되는 일련의 항공사 선택 속성요인을 세부적으로 살펴보아 체계적인 서비스 요인의 분석을 하고자 하며, 이 세부적인 선택속성 중에서 어느 부분이 가장 중요한 요인이며 가장 이용자의 요구수준이 높은지를 측정하고자 했다 즉, 계층화 분석기법 (Analytic Hierarchy Process ; AHP)을 활용하여 국내선 항공사를 선택하는 항공이용객의 항공사선택에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 선택속성의 설정은 선행연구 및 국내선 항공시장의 특성을 고려하여 마케팅, 예매서비스, 공항서비스, 기내서비스, 부대서비스의 5개의 상위선택기준과 상위선택기준의 하위단계인 17가지 세부적인 선택요인을 결정하였다. 하위단계의 선택속성은 1) 프로모션/이벤트, 2) 홍보/광고, 3) 신속하고 안정적인 예매, 4) 예매의 편리성, 5) 예매의 신축성, 6) 선호좌석배정 7) 수하물처리서비스, 8) 비정상운항시 후속조치, 9) 탑승라운지 운영, 10) 기내분위기, 11) 음료서비스. 12) 읽을거리 13) 좌석공간. 14) 비즈니스석 운영, 15) 다양한 제휴사, 16) 마일리지제도 운영, 17) IT 서비스이다. 분석결과 첫째, 국내선 항공사 이용객의 선택속성 중 상위단계의 5가지 선택기준에서 공항서비스가 국내선 항공교통 이용객에게 중요한 선택기준이 되고 있으나, 예매서비스 및 기내서비스도 상당히 중요한 기준임을 알 수 있었다. 소득수준별 상위단계 선택기준 및 하위단계 선택속성의 중요도 분석에서는 저소득자와 중소득자 그리고 고소득자 간에는 선택속성의 중요도의 차이가 나타났으며, 항공사는 이러한 차이를 반영한 고객지향적인 경쟁우위 방안이 요구된다 하겠다.

The purposes of this study were to (1) identify the evaluation categories, areas, attributes, and criteria of the school food service program using both a qualitative and a quantitative analyses, (2) define the relative importance of the evaluation categories, areas, attributes, and criteria of the school food service program using analytic hierarchy process, (3) organize the evaluation system to improve quality of the school food service in Korea. A survey was conducted from August to October 2004 to collect data from 172 dietitians, 15 school food service officials at the educational board, 10 professionals of school food service. Statistical analyses were performed on the data utilizing the SPSS 12.0 for Windows and Excel, such as Descriptive statistics and analytic hierarchy process was performed. The result of the analytic hierarchy process indicated that relative importance of evaluation category was 0.4319 (food service manage ment), 0.2369 (nutrition education), 0.1455 (satisfaction) and 0.0912 (parent involvement program). 'Sanitation, safety and facility (0.1739)' was the most important area among the subcategories of food service management, followed by nutrition management (0.1581), procurement (0.1375), production (0.1345), organization and personnel management (0.0662), planning (0.0644), food service evaluation (0.0585), financial accountability (0.0555), and information management (0.0554). There existed a relative importance on the three areas of the nutrition program and satisfaction evaluation category: students (0.5281, 0.6221), parents (0.1812, 0.1491), and teachers (0.1838, 0.1618). In the parent involvement program evaluation category, relative importance of committee and monitoring management was 0.4658 and information communication was 0.3724. The quality of food and service to school children can be improved by the appropriate application of the developed evaluation tool for the school food service program.
