이변량 지역빈도해석을 이용한 우리나라 극한 강우 분석 (Bivariate regional frequency analysis of extreme rainfalls in Korea)

  • 다변량 빈도해석과 지역빈도해석의 장점을 동시에 가지는 다변량 지역빈도해석은 다양한 변수를 고려함으로써 수문 현상에 대하여 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있고 많은 가용 자료 수로 인하여 높은 정확도의 분석결과를 도출할 수 있다. 현재까지는 우리나라의 강우 자료를 이용하여 다변량 지역빈도해석이 시도된 적이 없어 국내의 강우 자료를 대상으로 다변량 지역빈도해석의 적용성을 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 다변량 지역빈도해석의 매개변수 추정, 최적 분포형 선정, 확률수문량 성장곡선 추정 등에 집중하여 이변량 수문자료인 연 최대 강우량-지속기간 자료에 대하여 이변량 지역빈도해석의 적용성을 평가하였다. 기상청 71개 지점에 대하여 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 적용된 지역강우자료의 최적 copula 모형으로는 Frank와 Gumbel copula 모형이 선택되었고 주변분포형에 대해서는 지역별로 Gumbel과 대수정규분포와 같은 다양한 분포형이 최적 분포형으로 선택되었다. 상대제곱근오차(relative root mean square error)를 기준으로 지역빈도해석이 지점빈도해석보다 안정적이고 정확한 확률수문량 곡선 추정을 하였다. 이변량 강우분석에서 지역빈도해석을 적용하면 안정적인 수공구조물 설계기준 제시와 강우-지속기간 관계를 모형화 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Vibration analysis of pipe with Elbow subject to internal pressure and temperature is studied through a commercial finite element analysis tool. The natural frequency of Elbow increased very slightly as internal pressure increases. Meanwhile, the frequency of Elbow decreased as temperature increases. It is shown that frequency deviation caused by temperature was greater than that caused by pressure. As the length of Elbows increases, frequency deviation by temperature stew rapidly, but frequency deviation by pressure was not so high. It is concluded that more concern needs to be focused on temperature rather than on pressure in terms of natural frequency.

  • 지금까지 퓨리에 변환이 신호처리법으로 가장 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 이 방법은 신호의 주파수성분이 시간에 대하여 어떻게 변화하는지를 표현하지 못한다. 따라서, 최근 이와 같이 비정상신호를 표현하지 못하는 퓨리에 변환의 단점을 보완하여, 신호의 시간과 주파수에 대한 정보를 동시에 표현할 수 있는 시간-주파수 해석법들이 개발되기 시작하였다. 본 연구에서는 인공열화된 SUS 316강의 초음파신호를 시간-주파수 해석법으로 분석하였다. 특히, 단시간 퓨리에 변화법과 위그너 빌 분포법을 이용하여 초음파 신호의 주파수 성분과 특성을 분석하였다.

Fractional-order LβCα Low-Pass Filter Circuit

  • This paper introduces the fundamentals of the conventional LC low-pass filter circuit in the fractional domain. First, we study the new fundamentals of fractional-order LC low-pass filter circuit including the pure real angular frequency, the pure imaginary angular frequency and the short circuit angular frequency. Moreover, sensitivity analysis of the impedance characteristics and phase characteristics of the LC low-pass filter circuit with respect to the system variables is studied in detail, which shows the greater flexibility of the fractional-order filter circuit in designs. Furthermore, from the filtering property perspective, we systematically investigate the effects of the system variables (LC, frequency f and fractional orders) on the amplitude-frequency characteristics and phase-frequency characteristics. In addition, the detailed analyses of the cut-off frequency and filter factor are presented. Numerical experimental results are presented to verify the theoretical results introduced in this paper.

  • This paper presents a frequency-dependent cell impedance analysis chip for use in cancer and normal cell discrimination. The previous cell impedance analysis chips for flowing cells cannot allow enough time for cell-to-electrode contact to monitor frequency-dependent impedance response. Another type of the previous cell impedance analysis chips for the cells clamped by membranes need complex sample control for making stable cell-to-electrode contact. We present a new impedance analysis chip using the microchamber array, on which a PDMS cover is placed to make stable cell-to-electrode contact for the individual cell trapped in each microchamber; thus achieving frequency-dependent single-cell impedance analysis without complex sample control. Compared to the normal cells, the magnitude of NHBE cells is $60.07{\sim}97.41k{\Omega}$ higher than A549 cells in the frequency range of 95.6 kHz~2MHz and the phase of NHBE is $3.96^{\circ}{\sim}20.8^{\circ}$ higher than A549 cells in the frequency range of 4.37 kHz~2MHz, respectively. It is demonstrated experimentally that the impedance analysis chip performs frequency-dependent cell impedance analysis by making stable cell-to-electrode contact with simple sample control; thereby applicable to the normal cell and cancer cell discrimination.

Copula 함수를 활용한 삼변량 가뭄빈도해석 기법 개발 (A development of trivariate drought frequency analysis approach using copula function)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 발생한 2014~2015 가뭄 사상을 보다 정확하게 분석하기 위해 삼변량 Copula 함수를 도입하여 연구를 진행하였다. 기존 연구에서는 일반적으로 가뭄 분석시 이변량(가뭄 지속시간, 심도)를 활용한 연구가 다수 진행되었다. 그러나 최근 강우자료의 패턴을 살펴보면 두 변량 이외의 가뭄 강도가 중요한 인자로 평가되어 이를 함께 고려한 삼변량 Copula 분석을 수행하였으며, 기상청 관측소 중 서울 관측소를 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 기본적으로, 이변량 빈도해석 결과에 비해 삼변량 해석 결과는 동일한 가뭄 사상에 대해서 다소 증가된 재현기간을 나타내는 것으로 파악됐다. 이와 더불어, Gumbel Copula 함수의 경우 Student t Copula 함수보다 가뭄 위험도 평가 시 다소 과대 추정하는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 삼변량 빈도해석 시 고려되는 Copula 함수의 선택이 가뭄의 재현기간을 추정하는데 있어 매우 민감한 사항으로 평가되었다.

강우빈도해석에서의 측우기자료의 유용성 평가 (Evaluation for usefulness of Chukwookee Data in Rainfall Frequency Analysis)

  • In this study, the chukwookee data were evaluated by applying that for the historical rainfall frequency analysis. To derive a two parameter log-normal distribution by using historical data and modern data, censored data MLE and binomial censored data MLE were applied. As a result, we found that both average and standard deviation were all estimated smaller with chukwookee data then those with only modern data. This indicates that rather big events rarely happens during the period of chukwookee data then during the modern period. The frequency analysis results using the parameters estimated were also similar to those expected. The point to be noticed is that the rainfall quantiles estimated by both methods were similar, especially for the 99% threshold. This result indicates that the historical document records like the annals of Chosun dynasty could be valuable and effective for the frequency analysis. This also means the extension of data available for frequency analysis.

  • This paper presents an approach for the derivation of frequency-dependent element matrices for vibration analysis of piping systems containing a moving medium. The dynamic stiffness matrix is deduced from transfer matrix, and, in turn, the frequency-dependent element matrices are derived. Numerical examples show that method gives more accurate results than those obtained using the conventional static shape function based element matrices.

  • In this study, Ringing is investigated by continuous wavelet transform. Ringing is considered to be one of the typical transient phenomena in the field of ocean engineering. The wavelet analysis is adopted to analyze ringing from the point that wavelet analysis is capable of frequency analysis as well as time domain analysis. The use mother wavelet is the Morlet wavelet. The relation between the frequency of the time series and that of wavelet can be clearly defined with Mor1et wavelet. Experimental data obtained by other researchers was used. The wave height time series and acceleration times series of the surface piercing cylinder were analyzed. The results show that the proposed scheme can detect typical frequency region by the time domain analysis which could hardly be detected if one relied on the frequency analysis.

  • This study aims to analyze international trade papers published in Korea during the past 2002-2022 years. Through this study, it is possible to understand the main subject and direction of research in Korea's international trade field. As the research mythologies, this study uses the big data analysis such as the text mining and Social Network Analysis such as frequency analysis, several centrality analysis, and topic analysis. After analyzing the empirical results, the frequency of key word is very high in trade, export, tariff, market, industry, and the performance of firm. However, there has been a tendency to include logistics, e-business, value and chain, and innovation over the time. The degree and closeness centrality analyses also show that the higher frequency key words also have been higher in the degree and closeness centrality. In contrast, the order of eigenvector centrality seems to be different from those of the degree and closeness centrality. The ego network shows the density of business, sale, exchange, and integration appears to be high in order unlike the frequency analysis. The topic analysis shows that the export, trade, tariff, logstics, innovation, industry, value, and chain seem to have high the probabilities of included in several topics.
