is designed to study the college women's desirable clothing behavior in campus, and to find out the difference in person perception according to appropriate or inappropriate clothing. Detailed object is to find out the following differences according to appropriate and inappropriate clothing in campus: 1) formation of impression 2) inference of value. Addi\ulcorner tionally the difference in person perception according to major, grade and preference group are studied. For data collection, 460 college women who are attending Ewha Woman's University are included, and convenience sampling method is used. Frequency, percentage, mean, factor analysis, t-test, ANDV A. duncan test, correspondent analysis are used for data analysis. The result are as follows: 1) Wearer's impression is devided into four factors: appearence evaluation, personality evaluation, ability and activity. 2) There are significant differences in impression formation and value inference according to situational appropriateness. 3) There are significant differences in person perception according to major, grade and preference group.
This study was planned to develop an Internet Game Addiction Scale for 9- to 12-year-old Korean children. Based on literature review and analysis of counseling cases, the concept of the internet game addiction was defined. Items of the scale were developed and then the content validity of the scale was examined by 20 professionals. Then a preliminary survey of 188 3rd to 6th grade students was made, and the main survey of 699 3rd to 6th grade students throughout Korea. The main results are as follows; [I] Internet Game Addiction Scale consists of 3 factors with 20 items : game-oriented life(6 items), tolerance & mastery loss(7 items), and withdrawal & emotional experience(7 items); [II] appropriateness of item mean and standard deviation was proved, a 3-factor structure confirmed through factorial analysis and cross validation; [III] appropriateness of the scale confirmed through criterion validity and reliability.
This study was started to study the buffer zone of Daejeon metropolitan city in order to study the policy and environment for the suitability evaluation of the use of green buffer zone. The target of the study was selected as the buffer zone of western buffer, which is frequently used in the Daejeon Metropolitan City, and a preliminary index was selected to evaluate the suitability of the green buffer zone. AHP analysis was conducted to increase the reliability of the preliminary indicators and the weight was analyzed by questionnaires to experts and practitioners. In addition, based on the existing statistical data, we rebuilt the green buffer zone and investigated the current condition, and compared and analyzed the green buffer zone and the places where they did not. The results are as follow. First, unlike the statute interpretation that construction can not be done in buffered green spaces, green buffer zones have been utilized in various ways. However, the lack of advanced citizen consciousness of the residents, the responsibility of the responsible person, and the problem of the management office alone are causing problems. Second, according to the results of AHP questionnaire analysis, functional and stability among the appropriateness indexes of green buffer zone utilization were evaluated highly. Park accessibility and utilization potential also weighed somewhat, and it was judged that the epochal trend was more important in the use of green buffer zones. Third, analysis of the status of Western green buffer zones in Daejeon showed that the utilization rate was more than half. Periods of clothing utilization were also differed by the clothing items. As user's a age grew older, periods of clothing utilization increased and the rates of clothing discard because of dissatisfaction with appropriateness, and dissatisfaction with clothing quality, boredom, inconvinience factors were decreased. As the degrees of satisfaction with clothes increased, the periods of clothing utilization also increased and the rates of clothing discard because of dissatisfaction with appropriateness, and dissatisfaction with clothing quality, inconvinience factors decreased. This study identified the appropriateness of acceptance models of smart clothing and differences in the hypothesis of the path to clothing acceptance by classifying consumers depending on the level of technology innovation and fashion innovation through the extended TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) presented by Chae (2009). 815 copies of data were collected from adults over twenty living in major South Korean cities and analyzed them using a SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 5.0 package. Based on the average value of technology innovation and fashion innovation, the respondents were classified into: Group 1 with high technology innovation and fashion innovation, Group 2 with high technology innovation but low fashion innovation, Group 3 with low technology innovation but high fashion innovation, and Group 4 with low technology innovation and fashion innovation. The appropriateness of models for the four classified groups was verified. The analysis proved that an extended TAM for each classified group explains the acceptance process of smart clothing; especially the appropriateness of model of Group 1 and Group 4 was comparatively higher than other groups. Perceived usefulness was revealed as the key variable that affects consumer attitudes to accept smart clothing. Perceived ease of use has indirect positive effects on consumer attitudes passing through perceived usefulness and clothing involvement partly exerted impacts on consumer attitudes and the intention of acceptance. The mediating role of attitudes to explain the intention of the acceptance of smart clothing is high and suggests that it is necessary to take a positive role to help the consumer perceive the functional and useful aspects of the clothing.
Purpose: This study was designed to examine the validity of the evidence-based guideline on pain developed by Registered Nurses Association of Ontario(RNAO) translated into Korean based on the experts' opinions. Methods: The panel consisted of experts of 60 registered nurses in surgical units, medical doctors and nursing managers who were experts in pain assessment and management. The validity of translated RNAO guideline was evaluated in terms of appropriateness, applicability, and utilization in current practice. Appropriateness and applicability of each recommendation were measured with 9 point scale, whereas utilization was measured by yes/no question. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and percent. The experts' opinions were analyzed by content analysis method. Results: In general, most of the recommendations in the guideline received above 7 point in appropriateness and applicability. However, above 20% of recommendations showed less than 50% of utilization rates in current practice. Conclusion: The reasons for low utilization of recommendations in current practice are in need for investigation. This study can be used for the development of guideline more acceptable in Korean health care settings and improve the quality of care for the abdominal surgery patients suffering from pain in Korea.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the applicability of the evidence based guideline for prompted voiding by Lyons & Specht (2001) in National Guideline $Clearinghouse^{TM}$ for use in Korea based on the experts' opinions. Method: The target expert group consisted of 8 registered nurses, 6 physicians, and 5 nursing professors who are experts in urinary incontinence. This study used a questionnaire survey. The appropriateness, applicability, and the present application of each recommendation in the guideline were analyzed with descriptive statistics using the SPSS program, with content analysis based on the experts' opinions. Result: The scores on each recommendation's appropriateness showed the high degree of agreement among nurses, physicians, and nursing professors. However, the recommendation for 'use of oxybutinin' showed the lowest score as 5.89. It was notable that the most recommendations scored lower for applicability compared with appropriateness. The reasons for lower scores for applicability were the lack of clinicians' knowledge of assessment and management, and the lack of resources in clinical settings in Korea. Conclusion: This study will augment the understanding of the actual urinary incontinence management in Korean clinical settings and can be used as the baseline data for further study of tailoring international guidelines into local and national clinical settings.
The present study is designed to develop surveying tools to measure stressors of and social supports for Radiological Technologists which may play a role to alleviate their stresses caused from their job environments. For this purpose, an analysis of reliability by factors of personal stressors was conducted on 890 radiologists who are working at 44 general hospitals in 16 cities and provinces across the country. The results of the analysis may be summed up as follows: Six factors in 2 concerned fields turned out to be major tools for use as items of questionnaires to measure social supports for and organizational culture of Radiological Technologists. The factors determined to be applicable for survey with reliability coefficient of more than 0.7 measured by factors for internal coherence included social supports on the job(0.90), off-the-job social supports(0.81), job satisfaction(0.80), devotion for job by length of service(0.81) and emotional devotion for job(0.80), all deemed to be appropriate as survey items. In the verifying process of the results, it was found that normative devotion for job(0.61) showed lower reliability as its statistical coefficient was analyzed to be less than 0.7. It seemed, therefore, necessary to reconstruct items or re-select such ones only that can maintain internal coherence in order to analyze appropriateness of related measuring tools, or to develop new measuring tools. Although the outcomes of this study can be used to verify reliability and appropriateness of concerned concepts to assess stresses caused during the job performance of Radiological Technologists, it may be improper to adopt them to measure all types of social supports and stresses that occur generally under the job environment. It is desired, however, to compare and analyze the findings of the present study with others and to utilize them as basic data for further development of tools that can maintain internal coherence in terms of reliability and appropriateness in spite of changing social environments.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental technicians on demand for this occupation, their occupational satisfaction and factors affecting the supply and demand of dental technicians. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire survey was carried out by having convenience sampling as 200 dental technicians who work in Seoul Metropolis, Gyeonggi-do Province, Chungnam-do Province from September 26, 2016 to October 15. An analysis of the collected data was computationally processed by using SPSS Win 19.0 program. An analytical technique was made by using statistical techniques such as frequency & percentage, T-test, One-way ANOVA or ANCOVA analysis. The following are the analytical results of the collected materials. Results: When the occupational satisfaction of the selected subjects was analyzed, there were significant differences according to academic credential, marital status, duties in charge, position and monthly income. Their preference for this occupation as a lifelong job significantly varied with age, academic credential, duties in charge, position and monthly income. Their turnover plans significantly differed with age, position, career and monthly income(p<.05). As a result of analyzing what factors affected manpower supply and demand, they placed a lot of importance on the areas of required time and satisfaction, and they attached a less importance to the areas of interpersonal relationships and workload. Their total average score in these areas was 3.06. Conclusion: As a result of research, the manpower supply and demand factors that exerted significant influences on occupational satisfaction were pride. required time and the appropriateness of the number of workers, and the manpower supply and demand factors that had significant impacts on job preference as a lifelong occupation were satisfaction, pride and the appropriateness of the number of workers. The purposee of this study was to identify the effect of perceiver's clothing attitude on male impressions created by the clothing cues and contexts. In addition, the effect of perceiver's evaluations of clothing appropriateness on male impressions. The subjects consisted of 256 male undergraduate students and 256 middle aged men. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimuli and response scales. The stimuli were 8 color Photographs of drawings of a male figure in clothing which were minipulated in two levels, each of three clothing cues including type, style and color. The experimental design was full factorial design of 2(contexts$\times$clothing types$\times$clothing style$\times$clothing color). Each of the 16 sub-samples includes 16 subjects from the two perceiver group. Questionnaires used to measure perceivers responses to the stimuli were 7-point semantic differential scales composed of 37 bipolar adjectives representing personal traits. Four aspects of clothing attitude(fashion interest, status symbols consiousness, clothing conformity, practicality & comfort)were used to classify subjects into groups of 20 five-point likers type questionnaires adapted from the previous research. Clothing appropriateness were developed 5 point likest scales for evaluation of a stimulus person in each context. The data was processed by factor analysis, ANOVA, multiple classification analysis, Duncan's multiple range test, cluster analysis, MANOVA and pearson's product moment correlations. The major findings drawn from this study were as follows: 1. Perceiver's clothing attitude influenced impression formed by the social contexts and clothing crises. In three groups classified by their clothing attitude, the status symbol-oriented group was most affected by the social contexts and clothing cues. 2. Perceiver's evaluation of clothing appropriateness was related with impressions by a stimulus person. In summary the effect of contexts and clothing cues on impression formation varied according to perceiver's clothing attitude and clothing approopiateness.
