  • MDO(Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization) framework can be an integrated environment or a system, which is for synthetic and simultaneous analysis and design optimization in various design fields of aerospace systems. MDO framework has to efficiently use and integrate distributed resources such as various analysis codes, optimization codes, CAD tools, DBMS and etc. in heterogeneous environment, and to provide graphical and easy-to-use user interfaces. Also, its development method can be changed by design objects and development environment. In this paper, we classify MDO frameworks into three types according to the development environments: Single PC-based, PLinda-based and Web Services-based MDO framework. And, we compare and analyze these frameworks.

  • This study presents a technique to control quantitatively lateral drift of RC tall frameworks subject to lateral loads. To this end, lateral drift constraints are established by introducing approximation concept that preserves the generality of the mathematical programming and can efficiently solve large scale problems. Also the relationships of sectional properties are established to reduce the number of design variables and resizing technique of member is developed under the 'constant-shape' assumption. Specifically, the methodology of dynamic displacement sensitivity analysis is developed to formulate the approximated lateral displacement constraints. Three types of 10 and 50 story RC framework models are considered to illustrate the features of dynamic stiffness-based optimal design technique proposed in this study.

  • Two metal-organic frameworks based on the connectivity co-effect between rigid benzenedicarboxylic acid and bridging ligand have been synthesized $[Zn_2(3-NO_2-bdc)_2(4,4'-bpy)_2H_2O]_n$ (1), $[Co(3-NO_2-bdc)(4,4'-bpy)H_2O]_n$ (2) (where $3-NO_2-bdcH_2$ = 3-nitro-1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, 4,4'-bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine). The two novel complexes were characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis, fluorescent properties, thermogravimetric analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). X-ray structure analysis reveals that 1 and 2 are two-dimensional (2D) network structures. Complex 1 and complex 2 belong to triclinic crystal with P-1 space group. The luminescence measurements reveal that two complexes exhibit good fluorescent emissions in the solid state at room temperature. Also, thermal decomposition process and powder X-ray diffraction of complexes were investigated.

  • Due to the development of technologies, complex computation of huge data set is possible with a prevalent personal computer. Therefore, machine learning methods have been widely applied in the hydrologic field such as regression-based regional frequency analysis (RFA). The main purpose of this study is to compare two frameworks of RFA based on the artificial neural network (ANN) models: quantile regression technique (QRT-ANN) and parameter regression technique (PRT-ANN). As an output layer of the ANN model, the QRT-ANN predicts quantiles for various return periods whereas the PRT-ANN provides prediction of three parameters for the generalized extreme value distribution. Rainfall gauging sites where record length is more than 20 years were selected and their annual maximum rainfalls and various hydro-meteorological variables were used as an input layer of the ANN model. While employing the ANN model, 70% and 30% of gauging sites were used as training set and testing set, respectively. For each technique, ANN model structure such as number of hidden layers and nodes was determined by a leave-one-out validation with calculating root mean square error (RMSE). To assess the performances of two frameworks, RMSEs of quantile predicted by the QRT-ANN are compared to those of the PRT-ANN.

  • Purpose: In this research, We made the conceptual frameworks for SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) on Global quality's origin and empirical research. Developing conceptual frameworks is an important step in theory building and theory testing. This research model was developed by strong theoretical foundation which is quality and systematical model. Methods: Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed for this study. The analysis was conducted using SEM(Structural Equation Modeling). Results: Results show that process quality and interaction quality are important drivers in customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is strongly impact on customer loyalty(repeated purchase). Conclusion: In turbulent business era, Global company require not only excellent quality but also create customer oriented culture and control over operation in the foreign country.

  • In the past decade, considerable effort has been devoted unsuccessfully to the development of information technology (IT) evaluation frameworks in the information systems area. Based on the literature review in this area and the decision analysis field, two competing evaluation frameworks are developed in this study: the direct evaluation framework and the indirect evaluation framework. A case study on Firm K shows that the latter is more practically efficient and theoretically appropriate but requires the adequate training for practitioners in order not to get confused the weight of an evaluation variable with the product of this weight and the score of the variable. Another finding is that Weill's conversion effectiveness is neither possible nor necessary to measure in the process of evaluating an IT although it is in theory an important concept.

  • In this paper, modeling and analysis of discrete event systems by temporal logic frame works and petri net is considered. The reachability tree of the petri net can be used to solve the safeness, boundedness, conservation and coverability problems of discrete event systems. But the reachability tree of the petri net do not solve reachability and liveness problems in general. We proposed a method that synthesised the petri net and the temporal logic frameworks. This method slove some problems of petri net by logical representation of temporal logic frameworks.

  • This study presents an effective stiffness-based optimal technique to control quantitatively lateral drift for 3-D steel frameworks subject to lateral loads. To this end, the displacement sensitivity depending on behavior characteristics of 3-D steel frameworks is established. Also, approximation concept that can preserve the generality of the mathematical programming and can efficiently solve large scale problems is introduced. Resizing sections in the stiffness-based optimal design are assumed to be uniformly varying in size. Two types of 30-story frames are presented to illustrate the features of the Quantitative lateral drift control technique proposed in this study.

  • A Discrete Event Dynamic System is a system whose states change in response to the occurrence of events from a predefined event set. A major difficulty in developing analytical results for the systems is the lack of appropriate modeling techniques. This paper proposes the use of Real-time Temporal Logic as a modeling tool for the analysis and control of DEDS. The Real-time Temporal Logic Frameworks is extended with a suitable structure of modeling hard real-time constraints. Modeling rules are developed for several specific situations. It is shown how the graphical model can be translated to a system of linear equations and constraints.

  • Most research on verbal interaction in school has used general frameworks, not including general sense that encompass 'elementary' and 'science'. Considering the current framework, we developed a new framework containing items such as safety and science terms. In this study, we compared 2 beginner teachers and 2 career teachers using new frameworks. After preliminary experiments, we recorded 4 classes per each person and recorded all interaction. It was revealed that the career teachers shows more convergent question and agreement to students. And in experimental class the career teachers give more attention for safety. This study may present that it is necessary for beginner teachers to be trained focusing differences.
