Copolymerization of Organo Silane with Butoxyacrylamide Monomer and Its Physical Properties

  • Many scientific approaches have been developed for the preparation of alternative crosslinker system of amino resins and isocyanate prepolymers. Herein, copolymerization of trimethoxy silane with N-butoxymethyl acrylamide was performed, and the product was reacted with hydroxyl groups in the alkyl main chain without the need for an additional crosslinker. For the crosslinker synthesized herein, the molecular weight, glass transition temperature, and viscosity increased with increasing content of N-butoxymethyl acrylamide.

  • The method of amino acid sequence determination from the C-terminal amino acid is proposed and mass spectrometric identification of thiohydantoins described previously. In this paper was discussed the fragmentation of thiohydantoin-ring by deutero substitution and model tripeptide have been degraded through three stages each, with interpretable results. The conditions employed in this method are mild enough for biological materials. The main features of the method are the following. 1. Thiohydantoins were formed in a non-aqueous medium a mixture of acetic anhydride, acetic acid and ammonium thiocyanate. 2. Mass sepectra of thiohydantoins derived from 20 amino acids were obtained with a mass spectrometer, JEOL model JMS-06H. 3. Cleavage of peptidyl thiohydantoin was made with an acidic from of a cation-exchange resin. (Amberlite IR-120) 4. Separation of the cleaved thiohydantoin and the parent peptide less one amino acid moiety was made by chromatography on a Sephadex G-10 column. 5. The peptide fraction was concentrated by freezedrying. 6. Thiohydantoin derivative of carboxyl terminal amino acid residue was introduced with a direct inlet probe in methanol solution.

방선균이 생산하는 아미노산 대사길항물질, YS-460의 분리 정제 및 특성

  • An amino acid antimetabolite named YS-460 was isolated from the culture filtrate of a newly isolated Actinomycetes identified as Streptomyces sp. Fermentation was carried out in the synthetic medium at 30$\circ$C for 5 days. Purification was done by ion exchange resin, active carbon, silica gel column chromatography and obtained 38 mg of pure active substance per liter of the broth. YS-460, an amino acid like substance, has the molecular formula of C$_{7}$H$_{11}$NO$_{3}$- Its structure determined to be furanomycin by spectral analysis. It is active against some bacteria on a chemically defined medium and reversed competitively by L-isoleucine and non-competitively by L-leucine and L-valine.

"거머리 말"의 화학성분에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Chemical composition of Zostera marina)

  • General components, free sugars, and free amino acids about Zostera marina which is much distributing and producing along the coastlines of Korea have been separated and identified through Ion exchange resin and Paper chromatography method. So distrigushed are sugars contained that this was quantitated by Bertrand method. 1) The result of the general component analysis of Zostera marina shows that there are much free sugars. 2) According to Bertrand method sugar containment quantitated from terrestrial stem and subterranean stem on Po-hang and Ko-hung areas is much more in terrestrial stem than subterranean stem. 3) Seven kinds of sugars are used in experiments(Table 2) among there glucose, fructose and sucrose which keep the sweetness are very much contained. 4) Shown in Fig. 3 ten kinds of free amino acids inspected from experimental liquid by Paper chromatography are separated, which are known, and one spot which in unknown is additionally separated, and in which four kinds of essential amino acid to nutrient are contained.

  • Photosensitive resin of azide type is good for resolution and inner solvent, but it is really problem to development of practical use because fanctional groups of polymer has many hydrophilic radicals. By careful attention to this point, this study was investigated synthesis term, photo property and development property of composed photosensitive resin of azida type, it is to this effect. 1) H-NMR spectrum of compared DABCI showed amion redical by $\delta$6.0~6.1ppm to substitude for azide radical by amino radical by $\delta$8.9~9.45ppm, and FT-IR absorption spectra showed the absorption bends at 2100cm. 2)FT-IR absorption spectra of PHS1-DAB, PHS2-DAB, CMM-DAB and CHM-DAB showed azida radical pick to be lost at after irradiation by UV light. 3) According to exposuer change of PHS1-DAB, PHS2-DAB, CMM-DAB and CHM-DAB, absorption maximum value of UV spectrum change was 280nm. 4) to compared relative sensitivity of compared photosensitive resin, PHS2-DAB was the best and to compared insolubility rate of compared photosensitive resin, CMM-DAB was the lower. 5)Solubility if NaOH was the best by 1.0mol/$\ell$ and solubility of developing solution of ethanol to water was it in the ratio of 4 to 1.

발효단백질의 유리아미노산 정량 (Conditions of Quantitative Analysis for free Amino Acid in Fermented Proteins)

  • 발효단백질 중의 유리아미노산을 효과적으로 정량하기 위하여 정량방법(추출조건, 제단백(除蛋白) 및 발색법)에 따른 영향을 검토하였다. 낙농발효품의 수용성 유리아미노산은 $75^{\circ}C$, 40분, 대두발효품은 $40^{\circ}C$, 3시간에서 효과적으로 추출되었다. 여러 침전방법(95% ethanol 처리, $100^{\circ}C$, 3분 가열 및 1% picric acid phthaldialdehyde로 발색시켜 D.L.-lysine을 표준아미노산으로 삼아 정량, 계산하였을 때가 아미노산자동분석기에 의한 결과에 가장 접근하였으나 ethanol로 침전시킨 뒤 OPDA로 발색시킨 결과도 이와 유사하였다. TNBS(2,4,6-trinitrobenzensulfonic acid)에 의한 발색정량에는 ethanol 침전처리가 가장 효과적이었으나 종래의 동감법(銅監法)(copper salt method, Spies and Chamber, 1958.)에 의한 결과는 다른 비색정량 및 아미노산자동분석기에 의한 결과에 비하여 시료에 따른 과소의 차이가 심하였고 재현성이 결여되었다.

고상법에 의한 Dynorphin B 유도체의 합성 (Synthesis of Dynorphin B Analogues by Solid-Phase Method)

  • Dynorphin B유도체들인 $[Arg^{11},\;D-Ala^{12}]$ dynorphin B, $[D-Ala^2,\;Ala^6,\;Arg^{11},\;D-Ala^{12}]$ dynorphin B 및 dynorphin B (1-11)를 고상법으로 합성하였다.에탄올 용액에서 2%의 디비닐벤젠으로 교차결합된 파라-염화메틸폴리스티렌 수지와 Thr을 반응시켜 수지 1g당 1.20 mmol의 Thr을 치환시켰다. 모든 아미노산의 아미노기는 t-Boc기로 보호하였으며 Tyr과Arg의 곁사슬은 2,6-디클로로벤질기와 니트로기로 각각 보호하였다. 각 유도체는 DCC와HOBT를 짝지음 시약으로 사용하여 단계적 합성법으로 합성하였으며 생성물은 MeOH/MeCN (3/1)을 전개용매로 하여 Sephadex LH-20 column (2${\times}$50 cm)으로 정제하였으며 HPLC와 아미노산 분석기로 확인하였다.

DGEBF/방향족아민 경화계의 벤젠링 사이에 위치한 Methyl기와 Sulfone기가 유발하는 물성변화에 대한 연구 (Chemo-Mechanical Analysis of Bifunctional linear DGEBF/Aromatic Amino Resin Casting Systems)

  • 방향족아민 경화제의 벤젠링 사이의 관능기 변화가 반응특성, 기계적특성 및 열적특성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 범용 에폭시수지인 DGEBF와 방향족아민 경화제 DDM, DDS 각각을 1:1의 당량비로 혼합하여 동일한 조건으로 경화하였다. 그 결과 에폭시수지 경화물의 특성은 경화제의 벤젠링 사이의 관능기 구조에 따라 매우 큰 영향을 받았다. 즉, 벤젠링 사이에 길이가 길고 bulky한 술폰기를 포함한 DDS는 반응성, 열안정성, 밀도, shrinkage($\%$), 선팽창계수, 인장탄성율. 인장강도, 굴곡탄성율, 굴곡강도의 값이 벤젠링 사이에 메틸기를 가지는 DDM 경화물계 보다 높게 나타났지만, epoxide기의 전환율, 유리전이온도의 값은 낮게 나타냈다. 이것은 술폰기의 강한 전기음성도와 메틸기의 전기 양성적인 repulsive한 성질의 차이에 의한 영향인 것으로 판단된다. 굴곡 파단면의 관찰 결과는 DDS 경화물계의 각개 grain이 불규칙적으로 분포되어 있음을 확연하게 보여준다.

변성 폴리에테르이미드의 합성과 이를 이용한 에폭시 수지의 강인화 (Synthesis of Modified Polyetherimide and Toughening of Epoxy Resin)

  • 사슬 말단에 아민기를 갖는 폴리에테르이미드(AT-PEI)를 2,2'-bis[4-(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)-phenyl]propane dianhydride (BPADA)와 m-phenylenediamine의 반응에 의해 합성하였으며, BPADA와 m-phenylenediamine 및 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid의 반응에 의해 pendant 카복시기를 갖는 폴리에테르이미드(CP-PEI)를 합성하였다. 합성된 변성 PEI 들을 bisphenol-A의 diglycidyl ether에 첨가한 후 nadic methyl anhydride(NMA)로 경화시켜 에폭시 수지를 제조하고 열적 특성, 강인성 및 내용매성을 측정하였다. AT-PEI가 20 phr 첨가된 에폭시 수지는 내열의 저하 없이 파괴인성($K_{IC}$)가 2.88 $MPa{\cdot}m^{0.5}$로서 높은 강인성을 보였다. CP-PEI가 20phr 첨가된 에폭시 수지의 $K_{IC}$는 2.82$MPa{\cdot}m^{0.5}$이었다.

Preparation and Curing Studies of Maleimide Bisphenol-A Based Epoxy Resins

  • Maleimide modified epoxy compounds were prepared by reacting N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) maleimide (HPM) with diglycidylether of bisphenol-A. Triphenylphosphine was used as catalyst and methylethylketone as solvent. The resulting compound possessed both the oxirane ring and maleimide group. The curing reaction of the maleimide epoxy compound with amine curing agents such as 1-(2-aminoethyl) piperazine (AEP) and 5-amino-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane methylamine isophorone diamine, IPDA) were studied. Incorporation of maleimide groups in the epoxy resin provides cyclic imide structure and high cross-linking density to the cured resins. The cured samples were found to have good thermal stability, chemical resistance (acid/alkali/solvent) and water absorption resistance.
