In this paper, the factors that affect the festival satisfaction level were investigated by using the visitors of the 2016 Seoul Rose Festival as study subjects, and by understanding the factors that have high satisfaction levels, the satisfaction levels were evaluated and analyzed through data mining so as to allow an assessment of future festival satisfaction levels. Surveys were conducted on the visitors of the festival and a regression analysis was performed in order to test the goodness of fit of the collected data. Afterwards, data mining was used to analyze the assessment. As a result of the regression data, amenities were identified as affecting the festival satisfaction levels the most; and the data mining analysis results, as well, showed that the most important category affecting the festival satisfaction level was amenity, similar to the regression analysis.
Apartment buildings are becoming taller and more densely populated with the advancements in science and the development of cities, Consequently, various amenities and safety facilities are being developed to improve the quality of life for residents. However, according to statistics, the number of casualties in apartments accounts for a high proportion of accidents, and the leading cause of the casualties is smoke emitted from fires while sleeping at night. Although it is best to install separate indoor facilities in apartments to minimize smoke damages to occupants, it is useful to minimize the smoke damages by utilizing the installed facilities while reducing the financial burden of occupants. Based on the review, the heat exchanger ventilation system and the kitchen collective exhaust system were selected, and the feasibility of these systems was verified through fire simulation. From the verification results, the available safe egress time improved by 27, 30, and 35 s on the 25th, 35th, 50th floors, respectively.

After World War II, Japan experienced a great political and social shift, which brought a concern of emerging public landscape in urban development. This paper analyses the management of the aesthetic intentions in urban design effort. We reviewed the development of various public installation of artworks concerning urban landscape aesthetics through its administrative process in chronological order. The monuments during the first decade marked a shift in emphasis from the militarism of the pre-war and wartime period to one of peace. However, some of the monuments and sculptures are not immune to controversy. This became an issue that could no be ignored by public officials whose responsibility was to place the sculptures while maintaining sensitivity to public opinion. As public administrators began to consider the possibility that sculptures may contribute to improving public amenities, the contextual concepts were basically ignored. Some of the programs in 1970s began to show more respect to the context, while other programs in this period expressed more interest in educational aspects of sculptures in the public spaces. Urban development projects also seek to introduce artworks integrated to their urban design concepts in 1990s. Generally, the administrators responsible for these programs were rarely trained in any relative field study other than public administration. Installing sculptures tended to be considered as part of public works projects on the level of urban planning and construction. The general public is basically removed from participating in the critical decisions that actually impact their lives in relation to the artworks. In conclusion, public art in japan has unique social and historic background both in its advantages and disadvantages. Issues pertaining to art in public spaces have evolved over the decades as the term "sculpture pollution" began to appear by the mid 1990s. most of the problems originated in either the lack of monumentality, contextual consideration, quality, or public participation. From another point of view, these programs played great roll in the development of modern Japanese sculpture and patronizing process, and the creation of new urban landscape with aesthetic value. In this sense, they must be considered as successful and noteworthy examples of cultural administration and urban design policy.

New urbanization different from the manufacturing based urban growth has been widely discussed in post-modern city, consumption city and others to reflect the urban changes in qualitative manner. Urbanization stage models consider large cities to be in mature stage, reurbanization and the stages are assumed to be experienced successively in lower sized cities. However, since the industrial restructuring implies new urbanization experiences, this study examines new urbanization in diverse aspects such as the population change and the geographic and social characteristics of commuters and migrants for the 6 large cities in Korea. Seoul follows the urbanization stages in order while other 5 large cities are divergent in their transition from the industrial city. Regional large cities reveal broad reverse commuting and selective in-migration of economically active households for better work and housing opportunities available in central cities. Similar to the consumption city thesis with enhanced cultural and recreational amenities in western cities, the widening urban residential function including housing and other services is a new urbanization characteristic of large cities in Korea.
Hamburg is going with the HafenCity Project to create a new urban space for the city's bustling central district. HafenCity will add an additional 155 hectares to Hamburg's central urban area, increasing it's total area by some 40 percent. The qualities of the HafenCity are mainly marked through the location at the water, the river Elbe and the historically embossed milieu the Speicherstadt. A tightly mix of residential accommodation, offices, cultural and leisure amenities, retail facilities and restaurants manages diverse identities of quarters in a framework of an elaborate urban layout. This study is focusing on the purpose of the project goals, the task of the Hamburg authorities and GHS (Gesellschaft fur Hafen und Standortentwicklung) and an urban planning ideas competition (draft masterplan). Regarding of the new trend of the reurbanisation in Europe, the aim of this study is to find out, in which way HafenCity is trying to develope the new city district as a model for the European port city of the 21st century.

This study is aimed at deducting the evaluation standard of the walking tour trail and evaluating the real condition of trail facilities and operation & management. On the basis of the research on the walking tour, this study deducted the evaluation index of the trail facilities and administrative control, and divided it into visit resources, visit facilities and trail operation-management. This study selected the course of high use satisfaction among the Ganghwa Nadeul-gil section, and evaluated the real condition of Ganghwa Nadeul-gil trail by classifying the route as nature-oriented trail and culture-oriented trail. In case of nature-oriented trail, it's necessary to discover living culture resources of the village linked with the trail, and to develop amenities using bus stations and supermarket. In case of culture-oriented trail, it's required that economic regeneration plan should be arranged using the declining facilities.
The creative class is the class of workers whose job is to create meaningful new forms. Recently, much attention has been focused on the role of the creative class in regional development. Many policy makers have invested to amenities to attract more creative class into their cities or regions for regional economic growth. As of this moment, we are tracing people who are closed contact with Covid-19 patients and trying to block the spread of Covid-19 through diagnostic tests. However, the incubation period of the confirmed case is two weeks, and it takes a lot of human resources, time, and money to trace the routes of the confirmed case. In particular, as the number of confirmed cases have been increasing, the cost for finding closed contacts and blocking them in advance exponentially have almost reached the limitation of the budget. In finding closed contacts, all citizens must record an electronic access list every time they visit an amenities such as a store or a restaurant. This is likely the invasion of the privacy of personal location information. In this study, we designed a system that keeps one's location in real time, it will download the movement information of the confirmed case which is collected by KDCA, and it will notify the user when there is an overlap. Moreover, then guide for diagnostic test in advance will be used. The proposed method can solve the difficulty of recording in an electronic access list when visiting a store, and it can block infringement of privacy without providing personal information from KDCA.
