Lanthanide(III)-cored complex as a wavelength conversion material has been successfully designed and synthesized for highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cells, for the first time, since light with a short wavelength has not been effectively used for generating electric power owing to the limited absorption of these DSSCs in the UV region. A black dye (BD) was chosen and used as a sensitizer, because BD has a relatively weak light absorption at shorter wavelengths. The overall conversion efficiency of the BD/WCM device was remarkably increased, even with the relatively small amount of WCM added to the device. The enhancement in $V_{oc}$ by WCM, like DCA, could be correlated with the suppression of electron recombination between the injected electrons and $I_3{^-}$ ions. Furthermore, the short-circuit current density was significantly increased by WCM with a strong UV light-harvesting effect. The energy transfer from the Eu(III)-cored complex to the $TiO_2$ film occurred via the dye, so the number of electrons injected into the $TiO_2$ surface increased, i.e., the short-circuit current density was increased. As a result, BD/WCM-sensitized solar cells exhibit superior device performance with the enhanced conversion efficiency by a factor of 1.22 under AM 1.5 sunlight: The photovoltaic performance of the BD/WCM-based DSSC exhibited remarkably high values, $J_{sc}$ of 17.72 mA/$cm^2$, $V_{oc}$ of 720 mV, and a conversion efficiency of 9.28% at 100 mW $cm^{-2}$, compared to a standard DSSC with $J_{sc}$ of 15.53 mA/$cm^2$, $V_{oc}$ of 689 mV, and a conversion efficiency of 7.58% at 100 mW $cm^{-2}$. Therefore, the Eu(III)-cored complex is a promising candidate as a new wavelength conversion coadsorbent for highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cells to improve UV light harvesting through energy transfer processes. We have designed the system that measure one channel ECG by two electrode and extract real-time EDR with more related resipiration and comportable to subject by using conductive textile. On the assumption that relation between RL electrode and potential measurement electrode is coupled with RC connected model, we designed RL drive output to feedback two electrode for reduction of common mode signal. The conductive textile which was used for two ECG electrode was offered more comfort during night sleep in bed than any other method using attachments. In the method of single-lead EDR, R wave point or QRS interval area could be used for EDR estimation in traditional method, it is, so to speak, the amplitude modulation(AM) method for EDR. Alternatively, R-R interval could be used for frequency modulation(FM) method based on Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia(RSA). For evaluation of performance on AM EDR and FM EDR from 14 subject, ECG lead III was measured. Each EDR was compared with both temperature around nose(direct measurement of respiration) and respiration signal from thoracic belt(indirect measurement of respiration) on mean squared error(MSE), cross correlation(Xcorr), and Coherence. The upsampling interpolation technique of multirate signal processing is applied to interpolating data instead of cubic spline interpolation. As a result, we showed the real-time EDR extraction processing to be implemented at micro-controller.
In this study, we compared the levels of methylotrophic bacterial community diversity in the leaf, stem, grain, root and rhizosphere soil sainples of four rice cultivars collected from three regions of Korea. Thirty five pigmented and five non-pigmented isolates showing characteristic growth on methanul were obtained. When phylotypes were defined by performing numerical analysis of 42 characteristics, four distinct clusters were formed. While two clusters, I and IV diverged on the basis of nitrate and nitrite reduction, other two clusters, comprising only pink pigmented colonies, diverged on the basis of cellulase activity. Out of the two reference strains used in the analysis, Methyhbacterium extorquens AM1 diverged from all the clusters and M. fujisawaense KACC 10744 grouped under cluster III. All the isolates were positive for urease, oxidase, catalase and pectinase activity and negative for indole production, MR and VP test, $H_2S$ production, starch, and casein hydrolysis. No clusters were found to possess thermotolerant isolates, as no growth of the isolates was observed at $45^{\circ}C$. Two strains in cluster I were found to possess gelatin hydrolysis and methane utilizing properties respectively. Most of the isolates in all the four clusters utilized monosaccliarides, disaccharide and polyols as carbon source. Six isolates showed considerable nitrogenase activity ranging from 86.2 to $809.9nmol\;C_2H_4\;h^{-1}\;mg^{-1}$ protein.
Today transportation problems are severer with the increase of the vehicles and travel demand in urban areas, but could not be completely solved with only the expansion of the new transportation facilities. Because the expansion of the new transportation facilities are limited in urban areas. As one of the Transportation System Management(TSM) techniques in this study, the simulation results of the existing signal systems which were operated based upon the peak time periods for increasing the efficiency on the pretimed signalized intersections(PSI) during the different time periods : the AM on-Peak, the AM off-Peak, the PM off-Peak, and the PM on-Peak, were as follows : i) There was no distinct difference in the total traffic volumes concentrated on the signalized intersections during the different time periods, but a considerably big difference in the directional traffic volumes for those time periods. ii) There were about 53% reduction of the average delay and 51% reduction of the fuel consumption when applying the different signal systems to the different time periods regardless of the CBD and Non-CBD. iii) There were about 36% increase of the average delay and 33% increase of the fuel consumption when applying the same signal systems during the peak time periods to the different time periods regardless of the CBD and Non-CBD. Based on the above results, it was concluded that constructing the different signal systems for the different time periods would be better than construction the same ones for those periods on the pretimed signalized intersections in urban areas.
In recent years, film and animation for cinematic release have embraced stereoscopic vision and the three-dimensional depth it creates for the viewer. The maturation of consumer-level virtual reality (VR) technology simultaneously spurred a wave of media productions set within 3D space, ranging from computer games to pornographic videos, to Academy Award-nominated animated VR short film Pearl. All of these works rely on stereoscopic fusion through stereopsis, that is, the perception of depth produced by the brain from left and right images with the amount of binocular parallax that corresponds to our eyes. They aim to emulate normal human vision. Within more experimental practices however, a fully rendered 3D space might not always be desirable. In my own abstract animation work, I tend to favour 2D flatness and the relative obfuscation of spatial relations it affords, as this underlines the visual abstraction I am pursuing. Not being able to immediately understand what is in front and what is behind can strengthen the desired effects. In 2015, Jeffrey Shaw challenged me to create a stereoscopic work for Animamix Biennale 2015-16, which he co-curated. This prompted me to question how stereoscopy, rather than hyper-defining space within three dimensions, might itself be used to achieve a confusion of spatial perception. And in turn, how abstract and experimental moving image practices can benefit from stereoscopy to open up new visual and narrative opportunities, if used in ways that break with, or go beyond stereoscopic fusion. Noteworthy works which exemplify a range of non-traditional, expanded approaches to binocular vision will be discussed below, followed by a brief introduction of the stereoscopic animation loop III=III which I created for Animamix Biennale. The techniques employed in these works might serve as a toolkit for artists interested in exploring a more experimental, expanded engagement with stereoscopy.
The amplifier properties of single distributed feedback dye laser with 106 ps pulse width and 616 nm wavelength were invested using only one XeCl-excimer laser as pump source. For optimized amplification of DFDL, the three-stage amplifiers were arranged with increasing cross-section and accordingly increasing pump energies. The first AmpI, II stages were dye cell of 5 mm, 10 mm and contained a $6{\times}10^{-4}$ [mol/l](solvent : Methanol) of Rhodamine 610. Double-pass amplification in the AmPII was measured to suppress the ASE by using a diffraction grating. The beam intensity of AmpI, II was saturated with a gain of respectively 10 and 48. The last AmpIII was Bethune cell of 30 mm and contained a $3{\times}10^ {-4}$ [mol/l] (solvent : Ethanol) of Rhodamine 610. In the single-pass and double-pass amplification, the output energy was obtained 168.2 $\mu$J and 471$\mu$J respectively.
#140 mesh and #600 mesh wheels were adopted to grind (111) and (100) oriented single crystalline silicon wafer and the grinding induced change of the surface integrity was investigated. For this purpose, microroughness, residual stress and phase transformation were analyzed for the ground surface. Microroughness was analyzed using AFM (Atomic Force Microscope) and crystal structure was analyzed using micro-Raman spectroscopy. The residual stress and phase transformation were also analyzed after thermal annealing in the air. As a result, microroughness of (111) wafer was larger than that of (100) wafer after grinding. It was observed using Raman spectrum that the silicon was transformed from diamond cubic Si-I to Si-III(body centered tetragonal) or Si-XII(rhombohedral). Residual stress relaxation was also shown in cavities which were produced after grinding. The thermal annealing was effective for the recovery of the silicon phase to the original phase and the residual stress relaxation.

The aim of the research is providing the application method of recycled materials to manufacture the low costed eco-friend block at currently operated concrete block plant. In this research, based on the previous research results on three types of slag cement with illite, desulfurized gypsum, and wasted refractory products, the actual block product was manufactured by the currently operated plant facility and evaluated their properties to suggest the optimal proportions. As an experimental results, in aspect of compressive strength, absorption ratio, freezing resistance, and pH, type III slag incorporating 5% desulfurized gypsum with 1% replaced illite as an aggregate could be suggested as am optimal proportion. In additionally, considering the high cost of the illite, it can be considered as an optimal proportion that type III slag incorporating 5% desulfurized gypsum for binder.
This work presents the synthesis and preparation of a new glass system described by the equation of (70-x) B2O3-5TeO2 -20SrCO3-5ZnO -xBi2O3, x = 0, 1, 5, 10, and 15 mol. %, using the melt quenching technique at a melting temperature of 1100 ℃. The photon-shielding characteristics mainly the linear attenuation coefficient (LAC) of the prepared glass samples were evaluated using Monte Carlo (MC) simulation N-particle transport code (MCNP-5) at gamma-ray energy extended from 59 keV to 1408 keV emitted by the radioisotopes Am-241, Ba-133, Cs-137, Co-60, Na-22, and Eu-152. Furthermore, we observed that the Bi2O3 content of the glasses had a significantly stronger impact on the LAC at 59 and 356 keV. The study of the lead equivalent thickness shows that the performance of fabricated glass sample with 15 mol.% of Bi2O3 is four times less than the performance of pure lead at low gamma photon energy while it is enhanced and became two times lower the perforce of pure lead at high energy. Therefore, the fabricated glasses special sample with 15 mol.% of Bi2O3 has good shielding properties in low, intermediate, and high energy intervals.
